      I totally agree. When the clip started I tought: "She`s still beautiful, she must`ve been SMOKIN` HOT in her youth." And so she was :)
      Saw AC/DC live at Göta Lejon in Stockholm -79 that was an awesome experience.

    I think Bon was quite intelligent guy when you heard him talking, and this lady seems very intelligent too. They made a good couple - it was unfortunate it never worked out. I grew up on these songs.

    She’s a lovely lady,beautiful today and a knockout back in her day. Bon was lucky to have her.....too bad it didn’t work out.     Ride On Bon I was only 9yrs old when you passed but I remember you well I still can recall my Gramps taking me to K-Mart to buy the live recording of "If You Want Blood You've Got It" on vinyl thanks for the insight into Bon Scott the Man 👍🎤

    Never take candy from strangers...unless it's Bon Scott. Really nice interview, Bon was the real deal. His demons caught up with him. Typically on the verge of huge success. AC/DC will always mean Bon Scott, even though Brian did a great job filling those big shoes. Thank you for this.

    I saw AC/DC with Bon Scott in 1978 and 79 in Wolverhampton England. And in 2018 i met this lovely lady togther with Bons long time Girlfriend Mary Renshaw at a ACDC fan meeting in Geiselwind in Germany. It was strange to see Bon back then and then to meet his wife over 35 years later. They were both very normal lovely people. They have both written an autobiography about their lives with Bon. please buy the book. It is very entertaining reading.

      I saw them on the Powerage tour, OPENING for UFO. I was 13. I’m into the Bon era of the band, but basically lost interest in anything after Back In Black.

    There was never a frontman quite like him. The sheer swagger. Kirriemuir is a tiny, red sandstone town (strangely enough in the Angus region). It's a beautiful town. Its other famous son, JM Barrie, wrote Peter Pan. From the many interviews and accounts of Bon, he came over as a lovely person.

    You can hear the emotion in Irene's voice & her love for Bon all these years later. That must be a strange feeling for her to have lost him so long ago yet have his voice & music forever around her. Thank you, Irene & RIP Bon.

    Doesn't surprise me that he was a fan of Free . That was one great Rock and Roll band. Bad Company got more commercial success, much more actually, but I always loved Free even more. To me they were the perfect rock band. They took a simple formula with no gimmicks , no bullshit , just 4 guys playing bluesy rock and did something original and memorable with it. There aren't many bands that can do that these days.

    Bon scott was a wild child of rock and roll. He pushed rocking to the limits. But loved to drink wich is a lot of singers downfall. Who knows where he would be today. As he rocked the world. I always thought he got his stage moves from rod stewart. But his songs were all his. We will miss you always bon. Your voice will always be what made ac.dc famous. But angus is the player as was his brother malcom. To heavy rockers in there on rite.

    What a Lovely Lady, I'm from New Zealand, My eyes were filled with tears after only a few minutes, I have on vinyl TNT, and the Australian version of Let There Be Rock. I also have Family Jewels and Plug me In. Bon's in heaven, I'm pretty sure of it. Saw AC/DC in New Zealand in 1991. I was 19 years old. Rock In Peace Bon, and bless you Irene.

    All the best Irene. I heard about those times away when I was a kid as Mike J was a close family friend and mentor to me growing up. Mike was another who died far too young.

    Great interview, great question, honest answers.
    I think this illustrates that Bon had no easy path to success......he had ups and downs and a lot more downs in those early years....stuff that will crush the spirit of the majority and force them to become a hardware salesman at Bunnings.......but not Bon....he kept at it and the rest is history.

    So amazing that Bon was the 2nd singer (Out of two that sang at the same time) for the group : Edison Lighthouse - "My Love Grows Where my Rosemary Goes"

    I loved the Alex Harvey Band. I have their best album upstairs with the rest of my vinyl from the 70's and up until the digital years.

    bon was definitley one of rock and rolls frontman !!!!! one of my all time favorite singers !!!!!

    doesn't surprise me that Bon was a fan of Free. That was a killer rock and roll band. They were straight ahead blues rock , no gimmicks or fancy clothes , nothing but great rock and roll. Much like ACDC , although I suppose Angus and his outfit could be considered a gimmick. But I believe they'd have been just as huge if he'd worn jeans and a t-shirt like Malcolm and the others did.
