I feel bad for Angus As much as he appreciates Stevei filling in for Malcolm from now on You can tell he’ll never get used to it You can see the sadness in his eyes because of his brother having to leave the band he started with his own brother I don’t have a brother and I don’t get along with anyone in my family Angus is my hero So is Malcolm and Bon Rock In Piece
One more thing that makes AC⚡DC the greatest Rock 'n' Roll band of all time is that all the members are just regular blokes. Down to earth and no pretense. Such a rare quality among Rock Gods.
I always get the feeling that the whole band has always been really lovely. They never say anything bad about anyone. I remember hearing Malcolm talk about Bon Scott's parents and how sweet he was about it. I will miss him when I think of him for a very long time. These guys were a huge part of my youth.
Nice to see this support. Stevie has filled in really well. it is really amazing that back in 1980 Back in Black was a huge album. Here we are in 2020, literally 40 years later, and they now have the #1 Rock Album in the USA with a huge hit with "Shot in the Dark." There are very few bands you can think of where the members have been performing over 40 years together (and everyone is near the age of 70) and they still can rock as well as they do.
I think Angus is happy that his family is in the band cuz Stevie just synchs with the band so great. It's like Brian cuz he does sound similar to Bon. I always loved ACDC cuz they are the epitome of rock. That's truly my love but I was young n dumb in 1980 n never even knew Brian wasn't Bon until 1983 when my rocker boyfriend taught me so much. My other boyfriend when I was 16 turned me on to ACDC among other rockers. I hope they do the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. N I can't wait for tour dates n pray they come near me in NJ. I love Angus n always have n im so glad he does not drink. I wish he wud quit smoking tho but I guess with his energy, he needs something. I was sorry I never saw Van Halen n im not going to miss an ACDC show. So ill be there. Love u guys.❤❤❤❤
Yes but unfortunately Malcolm is out, I love Mal he inspired me to do everything I love today & I have so much respect for Stevie coming in & taking over his spot, I wouldn't say replaced Mal but rather just holding his spot cause Mal will always be there
I can't say Angus is the most articulate person I've ever heard (uses a lot of "y'know"'s in interviews I've seen), but I guess you don't have to be verbally articulate when you can speak so eloquently with your guitar.
Brian And Angus, always telling it like it is, and all that BS. Hope Mal is doing the best he can, WE ALL LOVE YOU MALCOM, AND WE WILL FOREVER. AC DC Forever.
But Chris is also a lot more humble and nice. Doesn't have a bad reputation like Phil. Phil is definitely a better drummer, but Chris Slade is the nicer of the two.
I think it's strange when Angus talks about Malcolm in the past tense. It's almost as if he's talking about Malcolm as if he were dead. That's really weird to me because for my entire life, I've always defined AC/DC as Angus & Malcolm (for the most part that is). Now, all of a sudden, it's been dawning me that Malcolm will probably be dead sometime this year. That saddens me greatly. But at the same time, Bon will finally be greeted by one of his bandmates for the first time in over 35 years. But at least he's still alive, even if he doesn't remember about a lot of things.
I LOVE AC DC A WHOLE BUNCH BECAUSE I LOVE THE WAY THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN DOING AND I HOPE THEY CAN COME TO CARSON VALLEY INN NEXT YEAR AND THAT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA AND THE PEOPLE CAN SEE THEM AND I WANT TO MEET THEM SO BAD IF I CAN SEE THEM AT ANY PLACE I WOULD GIVE THE FIVE OF THEM A BIG HUGE HUGS AND I LOVE THEIR MUSIC BECAUSE IT SOUNDS FANTASTIC AND I HOPE THAT THEY CAN KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
I'm strongly under the impression Brian picked up the frequent "Ya know" from being around Angus and Malcolm all those years. Anyone who's seen interviews with those 2 knows what I'm talking about, it's pretty much their official catchphrase.
Re: Phil Rudd- One must remember that AC/DC, besides being the greatest rock band in the world, is also a business. They, along with the Stones, are among the richest bands in the world. Now, I'm sad for Phil, but he's burned a lot of bridges. The meth charges (and use), and particularly the murder for hire charges, are extremely damaging. If Phil were to get clean, and that was his only issue, I believe Angus would forgive him and take him back. And remember, Angus is the only original member of AC/DC now, so he IS the band ( as if he wasn't before, along with Mal). But hiring back a drummer who's been hauled up on charges of murder for hire, even though the charges were dismissed, is a different story. When you're as big and visible as AC/DC, you cannot afford to have things like this hanging over your head. I sincerely hope Phil gets his shit together (I'm an opiate/alcohol addict myself, currently in remission), because the guy definitely has something special to offer the music world. And I'm personally glad he got busted, because if he hadn't, we might be reading his obituary right now.
AC-DC hands down fking rock n roll! One of the loudest shows I ever been to. Motley was the loudest, I was deaf toned for 2 days after the girls girls girls tour. I haven't missed 1 Crue show, been to every fking one!
Villawood is just around the corner from Sefton where I grew up and played in the world's worst garage band. We were bad, really bad played at the Chester Hill hotel
Same here, I think once he's clean, get's off of his legal troubles, and get's his life back on track he'll be back. But that's Phil's choice to do so. If he was out of the band he would've been fired already.
Malcolm wasn't at the Heetseeker tour. Loved Malcolm kind of bummed me out. Yes i was the goofy redhead that couldn't stop moving and standing in my seat. God adrenaline hot when yall live.
Acdc as a band have been through so much unfair shit...you sorta have to feel sorry for them...especially angus...first bon and now he's losing his brother...
they got to give him another chance. if they tour one more time.. it's got to be Phil he deserves it. to make his millions he's AC/DC as much as all the other guys in the band
+richard durham I'm talking before they do the last tour.. I've seen them nine times and it was a better show with him on the kit than the other guy.. would rather see them for the last time with Phil and what he did or said wasn't all that bad
+Rudy Molina : Phil needs to clean up his act before Angus even considers it. Being a meth head is one thing; murder for hire is another, and definitely doesn't bring the band any positive publicity.
it's sad about Malcolm. He and Angus are ACDC. I'M still amazed that these guys are still, not only touring, but putting out new music. Angus is still out there, at 60, running around stage like a teenager. It's sad that Phil Rudd, who has all the money and success in the world, would fuck himself up over something so stupid. I hope he straightens himself up and gets a shot at rejoining the band. I like Slade, but Rudd is a better drummer for the band.
+Thomas Fleig Angus at 60 running around... wait till you see how Foo Fighters Dave Grohl is pulling up at 60. He's Angus and Malcolm's nephew, so the son of one of their older brothers, who was also named Stephen. But Stephen was MUCH older (by about 20 years), to where Stevie's only a year younger than Angus.
These days, it's all about accountability. How many cigarettes have the members of ACDC smoked since 1974, I mean, ballpark? I came up with the figure, 3,755,850 cigarettes (fully smoked,) based on 42 years, 7 guys, 35 a day. Not bad. Add a million half smoked butts thrown out as a door opened.
