Iv been a fan ever since I herd of oak island mystery wen I was a kid then these guys came on the scene and that just set in at just the right time in my life I love this mystery it keeps my life interesting!

It might be unlikely, but there is still a chance they will find treasure on Oak Island. Maybe like a one in a million chance.

Haha ,and Gary's great great great grandson on the metal detector
I think Gary can fill his Top Pocket for all his efforts working on Oak Island, lol
Been watching for years and am so invested into these guys , they're genuinely in it for the historical and the treasurical (sic) but I have this feeling they'll never find anything like real treasure BUT they will say "The real treasure was the hunt and sharing this experience with my family" 🙄
spoiler alert bruhhhhhh.... i knew you watched this curse of the Oak Island on cable or somewhere like me i watched it on cable 6 years ago 😂
Yeah they've been doing this for yeeeeeeeears
There's a good reason Sam Ball brought 9 lots. Treasure Yarrrr.
Been watching the latest episode. This show is doing my head in. They are just dragging this out to the max. Now they have Matty Blake going over the previous shows. I’ll miss three or four shows to hopefully things will progress. Won’t hold my breath though.
Will they find big treasures? Not likely, but still, finding these little artifacts from 100-150 years ago is very interesting. Imagine the stories behind these objects.
My wife makes fun of the fact that I watch this show. Every week I tell her about the progress they make and she responds with "and let me guess, no treasure yet".."well no, but.." "Yeah no treasure"
That's when I remind everyone it's not the gold that's the treasure. It's the friendships and experiences we gain along the way. And then she doesn't talk to me for the rest of the evening
I do the same to my husband...
Then watch it on my phone...
Lol
Has anybody tried to trace the descendants of Samuel Ball to see if there are any stories of wealth or discovery of interesting artefacts in his family?
He was a former slave so I would doubt it.
Maybe Samuel Ball was a hard worker and a good businessman? That is a reasonable option.
That island has a marginal amount of fresh water for agriculture. A little bit below the fresh water is a saltwater layer. The cabbage farm was likely a cover for a smuggling operation. An island with lots of cover, few people not near a major population center is perfect. On moonless nights, things would leave ships.
lot of guessings into the person of Samuel Ball - why could he not be a good farmer with a green thumb? Do you know when cabbage grows? During winter months... exactly when it´s wet and foggy in this region.... Samuel Ball was maybe also a very humble guy who got savings from his service in the army and a talented merchant and craftsman who continousely raised his wealth over a few decades. You should work on your stereotypical attitide.
@@nickvie71 Cabbage is a cool weather crop and not a COLD weather crop. Things go well below freezing in Nova Scotia during winter. I never mentioned the growing season. It is possible as with other crops, most farmers don't have to grow their crop all year to provide enough money so they survive the winter. During winter, the harvested cabbage is taken and Sauerkraut is made. The fact that he is Black means you can't consider other possibilities. Are you fulfilling the stereotype of a Politically Correct person? I'm suspect of the few "farmers" who worked such an agriculturally impaired area compared to the other land easily available.
One of the richest men just on cabbage farming ? Lol I doubt it. Guy found something indeed
It's a good thing there's no WILD SPECULATION going on here.
no not one instance whatsoever hahaha
Bobby Dazzler Mafia in the house!
This comment is a Top pocket find
A piece of junk? in the dirt? could it be the treasure?
Lmao
watching with you guys for many years, we pray you get your treasure. you deserve it.
The metal detector voice sounds just like Alfred Hitchcock. LOL.
This show reminds me of of how excited I would get when I found a bottle cap as a kid. That was treasure. They get so excited over little bits of whatever 😂.
Click bait. The find a piece of unknown lead and a piece of metal. 😤😵😇
What happened to yamashita treasure????
4:13, Note the ground was already disturbed before they dug. The object was clearly planted.
Nope.
@@Iamrightyouarewrong username checks out
@@Iamrightyouarewrong Yup!
I suspect it wasn't planted, but actually found in that spot. But I'm sure it was dug up before hand. I highly doubt those two would spend a couple of hours digging up all 25 spots by themselves with a full camera crew. It makes more sense that it would've been dug up by others to see what was worth putting on TV, and then just gently putting the dirt cores back where they found them to film the "unearthing" scenes.
Agreed. Just like the cross they found by water. Basically sitting on a rock. 🤣
I just watch this show for good laughs. Almost as much as gold rush. They will never find anything.. Well stuff they didn't place there prior to show. 😆
Imagine if the strange artifact turned out to be the script to the next episode.
Bruh 🤣🤣🤣
Clever 😂🤣!
@@axolotlmafia it is the History channels history.
They never found anything did they. I watched it diligently. But it was clear how very expensive it is for all their work. Too bad I no longer have cable. 😣😣 Keep going at it Rick & Marty. Some earth shaking, deadly secrets could be hidden there.
Next on Oak Island: Rick finds chewed up toenails. Stay tuned as he counts them.
Next episode: More dirt. Also water. And air. You don't want to miss this!
Someone please put these guys out of their misery and just bury some random gold over there so they'll just move on with their lives and spare us these hysterically uneventful videos! Like how many episodes featuring dirt and little artifacts can you possibly show?
I agree. But they will be the ones laughing if they actually find something.
@@jaywallace9800 After all they’ve put into this, I honestly hope they do! The criticism is more towards History channel’s insistence on airing this for so many seasons. Maybe they should stop airing it as a show and just film the part when they get closer to finding it and air a 1 or 2 hr special of the actual treasure discovery.
I laughed way too hard 🤣😂 I'll never see this show the same now lmbo.
I hope you are resweeping the holes after removing the "first" metal.
They're not because they know nothings there.
Keeps everyone watching. We kinda like it
It's a show for optimists and pessimists. The optimists remain ever hopeful that they will find something of value. The pessimists know that they won't but watch it anyway and enjoy poking fun at the optimists.
Look another ancient artifact that is 250 yrs old, let's not forget about the ancient coconut husk, and coal they found. What great treasures.
in the eye of a historian it is. If you´re just out for gold and jewels you never will see the treasures that surrounds you. There is a lot of history they unravel piece by piece. Sure it could be more systematic but then the show would probably end with season 3... but we want to remain entertained, and History Channel wants us to watch for years and years.. so let´s give and take and play along.(edit: add) and simply enjoy ;)
I feel Samuel Ball found what treasure was there.
Yes. I too think that Samuel Ball is the key to it all
The narrator is more entertaining then the show itself
That’s amazing I didn’t know the knights Templar’s had pocket watches 🤔great find guys
A 200 year old fortune cookie!... you’ve done it lads millions spend for this... well worth it! 🥳
and raised even more millions with this show - if it didn't pay off, they would have stopped years ago.
I thought the picture was of a coffee bean. I was wrong.
the brothers have paid for the island.
Why haven’t they tried talking to the family of Mr. Samuel
You would think the family would know if Samuel found treasure. Or someone would come forward and say what they know.
On one of their episodes there was two people on that were decedents. Maybe great great grandchildren?.
@@allegedlyannie
I don’t remember seeing that episode could you share it with me please
I pray all the team stays healthy and this year 2021 will be the year.
I'll pray with you
Another piece of junk? Dug up on Oak Island? Could it be part of the treasure of Samuel Ball/Francis Bacon/The Knights Templar/Ancient Aliens/The Sierra Madre?
You are right, it's all connected. The "treasure" is in the "junk"... Like how we have superpowers hidden in what is called "junk' Dna. Knowledge is the true treasure, this site was set up so that if looters came only to find material wealth, and not the knowledge hidden in the way it was buried, the site would self-destruct, taking the looters with it. That is the "curse"..
as rick is taking a leak ,gary says woahly moely rick the size of that thing !
The back of a pocket watch!😲 surely they didn't have the technology for such things 😆
This is the time.
I can feel it.
Samuel found it but left some stuff behind, from farmer to wealthy land owner, his family will not talk
I miss the show. Why didn’t you look in the swamp for the image of the boat? Fred Nolan and the images you had done showed SOMETHING. ????
It’s definitely a coin .... or a button .... or not.
Back of a watch looks alot like a milk bottle lid...
Yep that's what I said
The only mystery you have solved is why I am still watching. O wait... No you haven't.
When asked about how it all began, here's what the head of the History Channel said: "we heard from a pair of brothers, and their idea for a hit TV show. The plot was about buried treasure, and their efforts to discover it. Recover it. I asked them how long they thought it would take, and they said....about 8 to 10 seasons. I said there was no way that the viewing public would be stupid enough to WAIT that long, for some discovery. They both laughed, looked me in the eye and said.....just watch." 8 years later.....
Gary really hates digging doesn't he? Lol
It´s far below his dignity. He more likes to be the cool tech-guy with a strange slang ;)
That's a Snapple bottle cap with fun facts....
Our only Refuge and Hope is in the Son of God. He spoke Truth Forever. Please hear Him. Please Pray for everyone, every day...
Dude in the thumbnail looks like Walter White and Saul Goodman did the fusion dance.
gary works hard with that pointer.
Milking it for all you can get out of it.
(in the narrators voice) "A piece of a watch? In the dirt? Who could have put this in the ground? Could it have been Jesus? The Luginas intend to find out!" 😂🤷
I love this
Artifacts found next episode point to a possible bordello operation back then. Rum bars with pirate wenches were common place!
Stay tuned for next week! 🤠
Narrator: Because of the silt, visibility is next to zero and the team comes up empty handed.
Me: Place a camera in the hole and let the silt settle. 💡 💡 💡
After season one this show has gotten more silly than pro wrestling.
If Mr Ball found treasure he would have had to exchange it for cash. If it were done at once or in the form of jewels or other notable artifacts it would be suspicious to anyone buying it. If he traveled to a remote place repeatedly he may have had a black market contact . Tracking his movements may be hard but that's what makes mysteries worth solving.
Becomes slowly obvious that oak island was home to a battle that was particularly gruesome.
I’d say it was the state moving in on a private land owner who had become mysteriously wealthy and the state wanted to know why and how. But the state met resistance from the landlords goons.
Another indeterminate puck of gristle. Well done 😂
The watch says Jimmy Hoffa. Just from an efficiency stand point, they should have a pail of water and a tooth brush with them to wash and lightly clean off the objects they find. They try to rub the dirt off the objects with their fingers, there is some spitting on them and then Gary sticks it in his pocket. They do this over and over again. Dissolve the dirt in water. Speed it up with the toothbrush. Identify it and then leave the object in to water to further clean and hold it. Gary can say, thats a keep it in the bucked find. It's the "treasure bucket."
Come on people, dig the whole thing up. including the swamp. Ask people to donate from all over the world,i think u might be surprised of the support u will recive.
Back to the Research Center Lol
We know people lived on this island so why are we so surprised to find a button or coin???
Because they are shiney😆
@@robertwilliams450 Your comment pretty much sums up the whole dumb show!
I wonder if they could use horizontal drilling to verify they are in the right direction?
Look look Gary I've found it, Gary what is it? It's the flag I lost.... Lol
I felt sorry for you guys ! Forget Oak Island . There's nothing there.
There. Is. Nothing. There.
They need to sacrifice the flog with the metal detector, to get that last number up. Even if that doesn't open up the treasure it would be great tv 🙂
The island sinks from all the holes lol
Call me crazy but I really want that shovel they are using!!!
today is the day!
I think it was Mr. Ball that left land to his friend and told him something he was never to reveal. It was one of the first seasons. I would like to know who the man was and if they could trace his relatives. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 No one would leave treasure or money on land they would sell. They would take it with them.
The treasure is gone. I feel sorry for these guys for spending money and not getting any equal return for their money.
Don't feel too bad! They are making money from anybody dumb enough to watch the program.
@@davidemmet7343 I would not be that harsh.. there is a lot of people who like to be entertained by this, so... one hand washes the other...
@@nickvie71 I'm dumb enough to have watched and enjoyed some reality shows myself. But people need to understand that reality shows are not necessarily reality. The programs are to some degree scripted and to a large degree edited so that they will have a compelling storyline. It is unlikely that the brothers are we losing any money because they're being sponsored by the History Channel. The History Channel is not counting on any treasure to get rich, they are making the money off the people who watch the program.
Near Nova Scotia Canada?
For those who feel that the treasure of gold will never be uncovered on Oak Island are in for a surprise.....
Just once I want to see Gary dig his own hole. I guess if you call yourself an expert you never have to touch a shovel ever again....
خوش شانس هستین 👍⚘
Well the chef nine hopefully drain it out and see what is down there? Humm knows too dangerous to go in?
One of the dumbest shows ever! I would rather sit in my backyard and watch weeds grow.
It's as if Geraldo Rivera's Al Capone's Vault we're stretched out into years.
this show will stretch the 5 minutes it takes to dig up something with a metal detector and put three ad breaks in while sifting through 2 inches of sand
Sad that theses guys spent all this money too find out that another person found it . and spent it !!!
They fond a piece of lead 😯
He was a pirate dam good one
This week on The Curse of Oak Island, 2146~ The Lagina grandkids find a bottle cap from 1946~ a true top pocket bobby dazzler...
Isn’t there some way to go back and see where Samuel Ball’s money came from?
If you look hard enough you could find that stuff anywhere
Should be called “curse of stubborn men”
Lead/ball treasures
No please NO MORE OF THIS ILmao!!!!!!!
1:47 I have high hopes for the da.... yeah yeah yeah.
I bet it's fried chicken bones mixed with Carp and chiitterlings along with hog jowl
I think I would spend money a bit more wisely other than playing in the dirt...
Very nice
Anyone else think that Sam found the treasure long ago.
Do they think the Holy Grail and the Ark of the Covenant is there
They know theres nothing there. They're acting so they can make a tv show
I like when they find anything the dramatic music kicks in and they cut to their face and I am sitting there just hoping that the find at least a gold coin or something and it turns out to be a nail . I think the treasure has already been found a long time ago ......I wish they could just find proof of who did it , and what they kept on the island.
Those nails and pieces of wood are the only evidence of what happened. 🤷♂️
If treasure was actually buried there. Then somebody who helped bury it came back and dug it back up. Or Samuel ball found it.
Diggin/driling on wrong end of island. Tunnel in rock not dirt. Old map shows back door.
This time more coconut 🥥 from burried underneath
Could it be?
Too many artefact found for a hidden treasury place... its fake 🤣
The treasure of oak island is the TV series.
