These guys I think are missing something about all the different artifacts from all the different places the fact that templars more then likely had indentured slaves that had personal effects. I think that would explain a lot
There are no new episodes. It's another hole and another piece of wood and another bla bla bla. Why couldn't they have ended the show with some class? Even the "FADE TO BLACK" ending would be less painful .
look up prince madoc who was blown off course by the metor that damaged uk and south america, he didn't returned for 10 12 years in that time of the dark ages when they coulldn't return to the wast lands of king arthurs kingdom hense the stories of brave knights who went to check if they could return this is how the saxons got in there was hardly any one on the island as the armies were in brittany france waiting to return, they went back to south wales he area of the silures the roman knew it as such (market place of the nation or abounding in prospects ) rich area and very good for defence with its rivers. any way the welsh/khumry/britons were there long ago look up the welsh in america or BritiansHiddenHistory ross and Alan willson & Barram blackett.
I enjoy the show and the cast of people who believe there really is a treasure. All the naysayers should stop watching and complaining. I would like to see the Laginas achieve their goal after all the time and expense spent on their search. Best of luck, I for one will continue to watch and hope.

At the beginning, I was addicted to this show after 10 years I grew up and stop watching it and I haven’t watched for two years and they still saying the same story

Totally agree with everything you said,I was hooked with this show for years,watched it from day1 but haven't watched it for over 2 years now,I got sick of the repetitiveness of it,every episode was more or less the same and got very boring to watch.
Yup, and 40 years ago I was dumb enough to believe in Bigfoot until I grew a brain and realized that just like Oak Island it was all BS.
Youre gonna miss out when they find the treasure! I feel it. It's going to be EPIC!
Keep in mind this was all recorded last summer. If they found the treasure, we would all know it by now.

Does anyone else think Samuel Ball recovered whatever was there? A few seasons ago they brought him up for the first time and never mentioned him since. But they even said Samuel Ball had a vast fortune all the sudden and was buying up land and and had ships coming and going.

Yeah I think he found something, but there could be several different deposits there. The water readings make it look like something is still there.
One powerful scanner could save you 10 seasons
Having 10 guys on the metal detector instead of one would have found them 8 times more artifacts, FASTER.

unfortunately new scanners can't scan older artifacts; only old scanners can, and they're all buried with the treasure
Would have been easier, quicker, and more cost-effective if they just used a backhoe ten years ago…could’ve dug to China by now.
The 1300 dates of the wood tested in the garden shaft shows the massive recovery attenpts which have taken place over the centuries, and hopefully the Fellowship Of The Dig will be the first group of people to find the treasure.

After watching this show from the beginning I've finally come to the conclusion that they are never going to find anything.
I am glad my great great grandkids will get to see the final episode in September 2069.
At the rate they're going there won't be an island to dig into at all. And all for nothing more than ratings and viewers.

This season they are milking the previous weeks' replays more than any show on television. They have hours and hours of programming without saying or showing anything new. Not to mention the commercials. An already tedious show is getting to be unbearable.
What is unbearable is watching a DEMENTIA patient try to run our Country!

There might be a reason for Marty's "one shirt". Note that Rick wears many different shirts with "logo's and wording" on them. I have thought that Rick's shirts are worn strategically to relay secret messages to certain viewers of the show. Could it be??? And, if so.......

They should use the pressure washer with vacuum tool that people use to excavate sewage tanks. That would give them better visibility of what they are excavating.

I swear the only thing that keeps me watching in any way, is that how did man-made timbers get 100 feet down? SOMEBODY was down there... that is indeed a fact. But I give them a 1 in 50 chance they ever find a shred of gold.
When Mr. Dan Blankenship dug out Borehole 10X in the early-1970's and encountered a cavern at the bottom at a depth of 235 feet, subsequent photographic evidence revealed that a significant operation had apparently occurred deep beneath Oak Island in the very distant past. One can only assume that the sea level surrounding Oak island was much lower back then and the cavern(s) was dry and accessible from shoreline entrances which are now underwater.

Now things are getting really interesting with this discovery. They need to put their 100% focus on this now until everything is unearthed. To see a man made structure never before seen by anyone than the ones who did it is incredible!!! Not only do I want to see the treasure I also want to know the whole story behind all this because this is history never recorded or written unknown to us all. I can’t wait to see more

The real treasure at Oak Island and Vicinity is its history. The goal right now is to completely solve the Oak Island mystery in all its six (6) aspects--- "Who", "What", "When", "Where", "How" and "WHY".

the main treasure of oak island is the treasure just being a few more feet away tv shows, this has been happening for 20 years now. It is ridiculous to assume that 200 plus years ago they had better tech than now.

And you were absolutely correct. But did you imagine they would drag it out this long? So sad to watch people you once admired turn into sell-outs when they don't need the money. They're already wealthy well beyond the standards of the average person in any country. I just don't get their point with this show. Ratings for the HISTORY CHANNEL maybe?

Bring in the guys from gold rush, they could have dug up the entire island in season one. They are truly milking this to last as long as they can. An open pit would have been the quickest and safest path. They could have easily found the flood tunnels and stopped the water and pumped out any ground water as they went. Instead they have made Swiss cheese of the island with 100 random bore holes.

The weather got very treacherous up there during Lee. When the storm hit the region, it was a Category 1 hurricane that transitioned into a post-tropical storm. Quite dangerous.

Remember that time they found one speck of evidence that was more likely related to a treasure than related to artifacts from the known human activity, of sectioning off, clearing, farming, building/tearing down, and living on that island ? Nobody else remembers it either.
What? What part of settling an island includes tunneling 70 feet below ground and constructing massive wooden framing to uphold the tunnel? I missed that. Oh, okay, MANHATTAN. As a big city they had to tunnel so they could bring in the necessities of life in such a metropolis. But this island has been largely unoccupied over the centuries.
WHY would they have built a stone road? For what purposes? What about the offshore stone monuments? What part of normal "settling" of a place does that take up?
This is UNREAL, to be sure.
What part of NOT ONE SPECK OF EVIDENCE is too far over your head to understand? The only evidence of tunneling is stories, or dug by treasure hunters. Not even that stupid stone with the writing has ever been authenticated.. And before some mouth breather says again, it was found, stories, and old pictures of a tablet, proves nothing@@notmyname3883 But you know so much, you have some secret knowledge, name one thing they found that is more likely treasure, than trash. every inch of that island was sectioned off, fenced, homes built and rebuilt over time. As far as your questions, you made my point for me, just like that stupid show asks, "what if" and, "if so, what if" questions, as evidence, I never laughed so hard. Fun sidenote: That Island HAS had people living on, and going to and from it, for centuries. And digging tunnels with wood supports, looking for treasure . Also, wooden ships get repaired out of the way of .. wait for it, the mainland dock, 100 yards away. And, finding a wood core sample, and a narrator building a city of tunnels from it, with "could it be" questions, is not evidence of anything except audience stupidity.
@@UseByDate-Expired This show is an "Entertainment" Reality TV show and NOT a bona fide Documentary on the subject of the Oak island mystery. Anything substantial found on the island prior to this TV show is generally not mentioned. Two coin caches were found over a century ago near Smith's Cove with coins dated in the 1100's or 1200's but, like everything else found on Oak Island, they mysteriously disappeared from Oak island and were historically never mentioned because it didn't fit the pirate treasure narrative. That's why prior searchers blew up the large inscribed rock that contained the H-O stone fragment because "they" believed that pirate treasure lie buried beneath it. And the H-O stone is also mysteriously missing and nobody knows where it is. Fortunately, there is film footage and also photos of the H-O stone to prove its existence.
