I made two of these this morning using the bag (24# size) that our dog's food is packaged in and brads (instead of hot glue) for snowflakes that I can hang outdoors. They look great! Thanks for the very useable directions!
that is so pretty ,i love it and you make it look so easy. i bought this pattern years ago ,but didn`t know how to make it until now thank you so much for showing this video. Ramona
Glad you think so! We also have written instructions on how to make this no-sew fabric snowflake. The instructions are at: www.needlepointers.com/main/youtubecontent.aspx?youtubepageid=87
So intricate looking and yet you make it so easy. I especially like that you (showed various sizes, cut the amount of fabric and bond needed, and then cut the squares from that---that is so efficient, thank you! Another Southpaw here! 😁

Gorgeous! Many thanks for showing us! Getting closer to Xmas so better get myself going. It's getting warmer here in New Zealand and glueing while hot is not the best thing lol 😁

What are the sizes of the squares for each size of snowflake!? I really want to know the squares you started with to make the smallest one on your wall! Good job with your tutorial!
BeatlesFanSonia, I'm glad you like our tutorial! You can find the sizes for all of the blocks on our page which also has full written instructions: www.needlepointers.com/main/youtubecontent.aspx?UA-camPageID=87.
I was using Heat 'n Bond Lite so I did put it on both pieces of fabric. If you have Heat 'n Bond Ultra, then I would only put it on one side because that's much thicker. Have fun making some snowflakes!
Hi. Sorry you got lost during the video! We have written photo tutorial available here: www.needlepointers.com/main/youtubecontent.aspx?UA-camPageID=87. Maybe it would be more clear with the photo instructions?
I made one with a white pom pom in the center on both sides, turned out so cute

Love it, thank you
I like those pointers, and I use a rotary cutter to make the cuts vs using a scissor. Easier for my old hands...lol.
That is a great idea also. The rotary cutter would make nice cuts but you have to be careful to not cut all the way through! Thank you for showing this I have made a few and they look beautiful 😻😻😻❄️
Great! I'm glad you liked the video! Be sure to subscribe to our channel and like the video. Thanks!
beautiful. xx
Thank you very informative. If you were doing 4" sq what measurements for cutting & width you don't cut please.👍
I did not measure the three cutting lines. Just cut them evenly and leave about a 1/2" not cut.
love this idea. could I use stitching instead of gluing
Sure, you could put a few stitches in each of the places we put glue.
Will they fray after you cut them?
They do not fray since they are bonded together with the heat-n-bond and then cut. The heat-n-bond holds the edges and keeps them from fraying a lot.

Incrível!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hermosas estrellas por favor dime como se llama esa tela y en donde la puedo conseguir, soy de Colombia Bogota.
I used cotton fabrics for the stars. I do not know where you would get fabric in Columbia.
😍😍😍😍😍😍 maravilhoso! 👏👏👏👏
How much would someone charge for the six inch size at a craft fair? Thank you
I have seen them made by another you tuber and theirs seemed stiffer, perhaps the grade of heat'n bond and they used. Which heat and bond did you use?
I used Heat 'n Bond lite. They may have used the heavier heat 'n bond.
Sounds like your toilet is running in the background?
Pretty cute snowflake
Thanks for watching the video. It's not a toilet running. It a fish tank.
Cuantos centímetros tienen los cuadrados?
Squares of 3” (7.62 cm), 5” (12.7 cm) or 6” (15.24 cm)
burn fingers but it was worth it

You lost me on the gluing the pieces to each other!
