Great feature as always. It’s sad to learn what happened with him. I played hs basketball in LA and played against him when he was at Artesia high and he was the most talented player on his team even as a sophomore. I hardly ever seen someone 6'10 260 with his touch. On the other hand dont put all the blame on his mom Patricia and make her a villain. As i know she always stood behind Renardo and helps him and luvs him till this day. He did not get to the League but his mom still loves him no matter what. What is he doing in 2024? Why does everyone say go to college for free? If he wasn't a top-tier player, he wouldn't get a scholarship or even looked at. He gets an education and a shot at the league and the school gets more recruiting. He earned that

Was over hyped at Fairfax high school , I went to see him play personally , large guy soft touch , but wasn’t a great athlete and was overweight and once he started getting money it was over , throwing a lazy uninspired young an with no knowledge of self is gonna end bad , you have to have the drive , god given size won’t cut it

JC: Do 1 on another Fairfax younger talent & socal legend engrained in folklore in LA: 6”6 shooting guard “Evan Burns” (2002) my class or better yet the 2nd best big behind amare who could handle & shoot tho.. D’Angelo collins!! He has a podcast on UA-cam w a church on air lady where he discusses a lot of what he went through as a child. & Ty so much 4 this drop! A miss & SoCal legend RS. Dude was definitely along the classic label (2 good/2big/2early!!!!).. a “manchild” so to speak, Ala the #1 SoCal legend: Schea cotton! No but RS probably could & should have tried to go pro after the 10th grade. Yuhp some similarities w him & Schea such as that! Schea obviously a Guard & more talented imo. RS was definately a big back to basket but could square up game & handle as video shows in his early years coming from miss.
