@@masondeross I prefer the whole "Frightened to Death" thing. Max damage on a D4 will do it for psychic. Also, just the sudden clap of thunder might do it for some NPCs anyways. I heard of a man in Russia seeing a ghost bear and being frightened to death, gave him instant rigor mortis with the flashlight in his hand had to be wretched from it. Idk as a DM just have an DMPC throw a dagger and it just like sticks itself just into the door way of the entrance of the tavern as some NPC just so happens to walk in through the swing doors, sees the dagger come their way, freeze up and then fall over the instant the dagger sticks into the wood.

I know I'm late to the party on this video, but I'd love there to be a big keyser soze-esque twist at the end of the final season. Something like Merilwen, being about 100 years old, is connected to each member of the guild but the others don't know it yet. Merilwen was aboard a ship with Dob's parents who died at sea after their ship, Captained by Corazon's Grandfather who also died, was attacked by Pirates, also on the ship was a Tiefling and her baby. Merilwen could only save one and chose to save the baby who she gave to a hermit to raise, telling him he needed to use "Prudence" in keeping the baby safe. Of course, that was misheard and he chose to name the baby that. Merilwen, breifly, later taught magic at a dragonborn school, where there was a child, a kind but dim-witted lad who his friends referred to as 'Minus One", who could only manage to master one spell, Moonbeam. The boy could never remember his teachers name. Merilwen vowed to keep an eye on this boy, the Tiefling child, the grandchild of the ships captain (The Captain told her that his Son was an Ass but the boy was worth saving) and the two young Half Orcs. The memeber's of the guild thought their meeting in Caster Falls was happenstance, Merilwen, despite missing the female half orc knew better, but that bloody Dragonborn of course got distracted (Probably by something shiny) on the way and didn't arrive at the Bawdy Flamingo until the next day. Or not of course lol
I love that Liliana apparently performed a nephrectomy on Egbert while he was still at least partially clothed which seems like it would be rather difficult
My theory is that because Luke's blades in the dark setting is a future version of geth this last season before they use new characters in a new world will function as an answer to the many questions brought up by blades in the dark and maybe also deadlands such as what first caused the decrease in magic first seen in deadlands and fully realized in blades in the dark
what a great start, love it how Prudence was ready to sell out the rest of the Oxventurers. not sure why dob is so obsessed with cleaning a pot in a world where he can cast prestidigitation so did Liliana a sorcerer studied like a wizard for 100+ years to learn the tome only for Prudence to come in an instantly Sorcerer her way though it
this manhole that is Geth fits my campaign world well, my campaign world takes place in a sealed off world made by a dead god of Time, space and chaos, your Idea sounds like if my hero's failed on their quest, this shows that minds do think a like, this could give me an ending, I look forward to the rest of this even if I will miss the Oxventure, you may live on in my campaign
I'm surprised nobody even bothered to ask if "evil bunny slippers" meant prudence was wearing two hollowed out (maybe not even hollowed out, maybe not even dead) rabbits on her feet?
What must be going on inside Lilianas Head while they discuss inside the Tavern and she realizes that she bets her money on these five must be glorious 😂
It's between the hours of 2am and 6am, Prudence awakes with a sense of foreboding, something is wrong, she looks towards the foot of her bed, there, she sees Merilwyn, watching her sleep.
Nice to see everyone's stats (I didn't realize they were 10th level now), but where are the stats for Everyone Else In The World? We need to know these things- for prosperity. Also, I'd take any of the explanations for EXP, particularly 'Excruciating Puns' 😄
Man I am still bummed that this is the final season. I really feel like we didn't learn about Prudence much. We know she worships Cuthulu and we know that her parents I guess weren't great but we didn't meet them. We didn't learn why she follows Cuthulu and we didn't really see the cruelty of the world against her.

love johnny to have the beginning of the finally season starting where it all began in caster falls the first adventure so happy, im tearing up thinking of all these years.
So good to have the gang back together! Loved that episode, straight back into the madness like it hasn't been a while since we've seen them 🥲 cannot wait to watch the rest of the season!!
Can't remember when I laughed so hard about washing up.
I love that Liliana apparently performed a nephrectomy on Egbert while he was still at least partially clothed which seems like it would be rather difficult
Merilwen has so many Excruciating Puns points she is now level 20 ...
Haha, Johnny sounded like such a parent @1:02:50 when they said "I gave you a griffin"!
My god, so many hilarious moments! I didn't realite how much I missed this group. Loved it!
This is like the last day at school. It's great!
K, here's my prediction: Bismuth is the final boss
a world built on a giant interdimensional portal cork is the most interesting world configuration since Discworld's turtle... Johnny is brilliant.
what a great start, love it how Prudence was ready to sell out the rest of the Oxventurers. not sure why dob is so obsessed with cleaning a pot in a world where he can cast prestidigitation
so did Liliana a sorcerer studied like a wizard for 100+ years to learn the tome only for Prudence to come in an instantly Sorcerer her way though it
"I have a magical seal!" is one of my favourite Oxventure moments of all time
this manhole that is Geth fits my campaign world well, my campaign world takes place in a sealed off world made by a dead god of Time, space and chaos, your Idea sounds like if my hero's failed on their quest, this shows that minds do think a like, this could give me an ending, I look forward to the rest of this even if I will miss the Oxventure, you may live on in my campaign
That Binbag segment was BRILLIANT.
I'm surprised nobody even bothered to ask if "evil bunny slippers" meant prudence was wearing two hollowed out (maybe not even hollowed out, maybe not even dead) rabbits on her feet?
I hope they finally eat Eggbert in this season. A grand BBQ finale.
Johnny is one of the best story tellers on the planet. Respect.
And the freezing of the knight's sinuses, I must say "my tail's froze and my nose is froze and my ears are froze. And my toes are froze."
What a great start to a new season! Excited for more episodes to come!
Leliana with the portal to the blender dimension at the end...
"We've never been to other celestial bodies" so Oxventure plays Starfinder confirmed.
Im so happy to see another season of Oxventure. I love Johnny as a DM and in my mind his motto is:"yeah lets just roll with that" your adventures are always filled with funs, puns and always surprising.
Just pointing out for future reference, Johnny's pronouns are they/them
Many silly moments in this, but nothing made me genuinely laugh out loud harder than trying to work out who could teleport them to their next destination, and Egbert very seriously asking "Is is 30 ft away?"
