Yooooo. Wow. Thanks for this. Please keep these tutorials coming. Seems to be a lack of practical c4d/redshift tutorials without xparticles out there nowadays. Myself and I’m sure many others appreciate this 🔥🙏🏼.
Amazing! Thanks for such a clear simple to understand tutorial! Can the plant growth be triggered by the same vertex map that you used for the displacer?
Great question:) Because when I did this project that's what I was using. I'm on R25 and 26 nowadays but haven't got around to install x particles yet on them 🤣
Nidia, why doesn’t your system crash all the time like mine does? You seem to work at breakneck speed and nothing ever goes wrong… I’ve watched every video on optimizing render settings and turning off CPU etc etc. but if I was to try what you’re showing here, I’d hit the blue spinning beach ball within minutes. Mac Studio M1 Max. 32gb ram latest versions of all of everything. It baffles me. Do you ever use the node editor, or always the shader graph? Thanks for the tutorial.

Yes, you should be able to put the vertex max in the Plain effector, so instead of using the Linear Field, just drag the vertex map there.

Great question:) Because when I did this project that's what I was using. I'm on R25 and 26 nowadays but haven't got around to install x particles yet on them 🤣
