Thanks Mickey for sharing the fruit of your labor..nice to see someone eager to give back. I'm inspired to get my old Sho-bud out of the closet after 30 years and give it another shot. Keep 'em coming...somebody's watching, learning and enjoying them.
I've tried steel about 30 years ago. If you were around then, I might have stuck with it. You're a great teacher and picker. Keep up the fantastic work!
Hey, man, thanks so much for all the lessons-- I just started playing last month, and am driving a Mullen sd10... what great instruments. I've found all these lesson's you've done super helpful! If you ever get down to Fredericksburg or Luckenbach, let me know and I buy you a beer.
Hi Mickey! I'm just a beginner that plays for a year now, but i'm learning a lot from your Tutorials. So thank you for posting the good stuff. Greetings Mathew and hopefully we will meet eacher at a PSG convention?!
Ken did a great job on my old Session 400 as well. The Burr Brown chips made a huge difference in my NV 112...I think youre really going to like it...thanks for the compliment Scotty...Say hi to ken for me...and stop back by!.....mickey
Yeah, Mullen went to bearings with the RP a few years ago. The G2 incorporates the same. I have some cabinet drop but nothing that is unmanageable. The G2 does not have the center rail assembly like the HWP or RP. Del said it didnt need it, and it saves on weight. All in all Im really happy with the guitar...Its a nice ride.....Mickey
Daviocc...Your limited in some ways, mainly by the number of chord forms you can construct, and alter in any stationary position with the bar. The GFI is an al pull chnager, and levers can be added fairly easily. If you want to expand the boundaries of your guitar, I would definately look into adding some more. And if the guitar you have gives you the sound you want, keep it and equip it!......Thanks for tuning in, and posting...Mckey
Heik..please com vists Vegas. There is nothing that i would enjoy more than spending an afternoon giving to someone else, something that was given to me....And I mean that. Theres nothing more rewarding than sharing...!...Mickey
