Good Job Enoch, it's time now you do comparison of Nairobi with other cities more so South east Asia, we were once at per a few decades ago, they are doing better now on cities cleaning, urban housing for all, mass transportation and the quality of life there. please do this to awaken our leaders/ they are sleeping. Just like Nairobi those Asian cities fall under category of developing countries, Visit one of these Kuala Lumpur, Bankok, Jakarta or even Manila in Filipinos you will be shoked at their organization.
It's natural for developing countries to worship skyscrapers because they are perceived as the Western symbol of a modern economy however once the skyscraper boom heats up like in China you soon realize its just overrated and does not necessarily mean your people's lives are that much better. Not to mention that these buildings destroy cultural identity like what happened in Dubai. It looks cool though, for better or worse.
A skyline is a city outline or shape viewed from near the horizon... So yes, roads do shape the skyline and especially when we talk about elevated highways and interchanges.
