Families grow and move and recipes are lost. Thankfully, Polish Your Kitchen is able to show younger generations that they too, can taste memories.

That's the really important thing. My memories of Polish recipes from my mama are few, but there are many more I'd not come across. Anna's vlog on YT have opened up my repertoire and I absolutely love it! I think Polish people have the best food in the world bar none. Good, honest food, well cooked with loads of flavour .... and the combination of flavours are just wow. Look forward to the next book when it comes out. Anna's book is one I can leave to my son so he can cook Polish when I curl up my toes confident that he'll be able to cook up a good Polish meal to remind him of his Polish roots

I am always impressed by Anna's seamless transitions between English and Polish during conversations. How wonderful that Hannah can do that, too. This is the first time I've seen her, and my compliments. She's lovely and very well spoken. I'm glad your book is on Amazon, because I am an inveterate procrastinator and need the perfect birthday gift. SOON! Welcome home! Enjoy your time Stateside!

My favorite meal is kapusta, roasted chicken, mash potatoes with chicken gravy and polish coffee cake.

Love this! And as an American-born Pole, I had to freak out for weeks with kaszanka in my freezer before I ate it, and hot DAMN! It was delicious! I've been trying to find duck blood to make czernina for ages, but can't find anywhere to source it. Sooner or later, it's going to happen!
Also, your Hanna seems like a sweet young woman, I bet you're super proud of her! I love how you guys have opened the world of my Polish heritage up, and I'm so glad I found your channel! Its definitely a highlight of my week!

This is my favorite video of Polish Your Kitchen. Anna, your description of the recipe book cover brings tears to my eyes. It is lovely that your great-grandmother's scarf is the centerpiece of the cover. Your family and your traditions are beautiful. Dziękuję. Idź z Bogiem, as my Dad would say when we would leave his home.
I hope I spelled that correctly - I used Google translation.

How did I guess that Mark was going to say Hamburger was his favorite food. 🤣. Great interview was surprised to see Hannah with you. (I know you like to keep her privacy). I need to try her fav…no bake cheese cake. As many times as I watch your videos always am learning something new about you both. Looking fwd to new videos in Poland and of course the cooking shows. 🥰

Hello Mark, I was stationed at Ft. Sill in the 80's a couple of times for OBC and AC courses. I don't remember much about training or Ft. Sill. I do remember The Great Hamburgers from Meers OK. They were the Best ! Did you ever go there for a burger ? I too live as an expat in the middle east and miss Great Food being a foodie myself....Love your videos .... keep them coming ! Thanks

You were in Chicago? I live in Skokie, right outside the city and I was born and raised in Chicago. Did you get to go to any of the many ethnic restaurants in the city? It is a great eating town.

You did a great job with the subtitles. I understand more Polish than I can speak, but I only caught a few words here and there.
Will you be traveling in the states or just in Wisconsin for family? (Book tour!)
