We have a long recovery economically no matter who wins. Like you said, the day to day grind, the cost of things, the job market, the housing crisis- the President alone doesn't have as much control over that as people think, at least not in the near term. Just a guess, but I think what you said about a positive effects on the stockmarket are more because the market is so hyper reactive, there are fools out there with money that think things will start getting better the second Trump gets elected (even though they won't). I don't think it's the fact that he won't conceed, casting doubt on the future etc- I think those same people think that a Harris victory means more of the same situation we're in right now, which is why it wouldn't be celebrated in the market. Hope that made sense.
We cant have a continuation of the current disaster. The boarder is the worst, of course economy. Feel that we need to lose a politician for running the country, they have their own motives and it's not the will of the people.
