subscribed I'll be using you'd videos to pull apart my 450x bottom end as I want to know we're all bearings are located as I picked up magnetic pieces of silver out of my oil and oil filter (oil filter 3 oil changes old and new oil 1 hour old then decided to drain it to inspect for the noise and that's when I found the shavings )
I have removes my stator cover... on the cranlshaft infront of the flywheel nut there is a seal and a spring.. I can not see it in the service manual. .. any help please ?
+DIY Moto Fix thank you very much for the reply upon further investigation it ended up being the stator oil seal broken up... check out my videos of the crankshaft seal making contact with the camchain... subscribed
Hey there! I have a question that maybe you could help me out with, I have a 2005 crf250x, I got it and it was barely ever used, basically new, just sat in a garage for 10 years, and my motor is basically new... I hear that the valve seat material on the older X models wears out quickly? If I bought a newer head (from an 07 I think) would this solve the problem? I plan on going to kibble white stainless steel valves in the future for longevity and I'm just wondering if I should go to the newer head, or just have my valve seats re-done when the time comes to achieve a more reliable motor. Thanks!
Not specifically, however, our Four Stroke Engine Building Handbook would definitely be an alternative to consider: www.diymotofix.com/the-four-stroke-dirt-bike-engine-building-handbook.html

The other 7 parts of this video are nowhere to be found...
Is there a video that has a tutorial on how to rebuild a top end of a crf450x 2014?

can I use this video to rebuild a 250x?
+Gonzalo Mata you can definitely use it, just know that the specs will be different when it comes to torquing etc.
