Marilyn Manson has without doubt the most creative and artistic videos by any music artist. He is a legend.
I vividly remember the release of the original "Sweet dreams" by The Eurythmics and Annie Lennox's fantastic voice. I think MM did a good job with this cover. I like his cover of the "(very) old song Tainted love even better. BUT ... his original work is especially worth listening to in my opinion. I have been a fan of the band since the song Beautiful people was released back in 1996(?) and subsequent albums. And in hindsight I think the album Antichrist Superstar from which beautiful people was taken is the best. MM was and is form of shock rock shown in his live performance and image building. I have been fortunate to see the band live. I suggest to listen to his original music.
Not just the vocals, but the rearrangement of the to suit the guitar is crucial IMHO. Both the vocals and the guitar(/band) work is very emotive and working together.
Don't under estimate Manson. He suffered from tremendous stage fright in his younger years and creating this alternate persona helped him.get over it. His song writing touches on some pretty deep topics. May I recommend "coma white", "the beautiful people", "the new sh*t", "tourniquet", his cover of "this is halloween", and "disposable teens"
I put a spell on you. Another cover from a CCR song.
His adapatation of the main riff is haunting hahaha It stays in my head for days every time I listen to it. Right now I'm done 🤣
Another grat cover he made is "Tainted love" 🤘
Haunting is definitely the correct word 😂
En personal jesús too, Is better than the original
@@InnaSoloMusicdont let Jeff the Killer stab you
MM really shines through his song writing, specially the holy wood trilogy when he had a story to tell.
As far as videos go, disposable teens and the dope show are the best with the nobodies and the beautiful people are close second.

I love the comma white video always did!
MM's a game changer of the 90's 👌
Marilyn Manson is a very interesting guy. Very smart and naturaly quite shy. One of my favourites quotes of his is, "I think parents should raise their kids better or someone like Marilyn Manson is going to."
I recomend you listen to his fairly recent song, "We are Chaos" It's still pretty dark, but actually has quite an anthemic sound. (Couldn't get it out of my head for days after first hearing it)
The guitar work is crucial in this version.
One of my favorites from MM is Beautiful People. I would love to see your reaction to that one
Hard to believe it's been 27 years since this masterpiece came out. No one can touch Mansons 90's music when it comes to artistic expression except 90's-00's Tool.
never see older manson song reacted to, only this one.
This version of the song was used for the House On Haunted Hill remake
Beautiful People is an absolute must, it was the song that basically catapulted him to success. The entire album its from, Antichrist Superstar is fantastic, but very dark and sinister.
It’s my song in the gym when I’m going for a PR lol. Shit pumps me up!
Tourniquet as well.
1:30. It’s art. How can art scare you?😆
Id suggest watching his 2001 live performance in LA, probably the best one (though every era has an entirely different theme and set).
MM is iconic ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Disturbing. I love it!!
Manson is a pure Genius, if you wanna grow up I strongly recommend his music!
ah yes this brings the memories all back
We had a viewing party when this video premiered...did not disappoint
I was in a high school when first time I heard about Marilyn Manson music.
Fun fact, Marilyn Manson's real name is Brian Warner and was once engaged to actress Rose McGowen
Mannnn he’s a wonderful entertainer, hey top shelf!! Love the days , WOW loved it of course.🥀
Another great song by Marilyn is Beautiful People. Song is sick. I use it in the gym when I’m going for a PR.
Hi! Check out "The Fight Song" "Personal Jesus" or The Beautiful People ( Video Music Awards 1997)

One song I can recommend is his cover of "Tainted Love"
3:53. Wow! Excellent!🌼☘️🌿🌺
great song
All of MM's music is wrapped in social commentary and symbolism; he often takes the simultaneous role of villain and savior, all depending on your...proclivities. Regardless, the contribution his visual style has had on music videos, films, fashion, etc. cannot be overstated. The fascinating aesthetics alone is riveting before you even get to the excellent music.
watch it again and again and it won't shock you much anymore. I remember first time I saw this video when it was release I was about 14 and blow my mind I was scare but at the same time felt like I wanted to hang with him and his band in that abandoned house and get high and do graffiti in that place. Back then I had andgry feelings towards society as a whole I use to go to a private school everyone was snobby there where only a few uf us a small crowd of about 20 or 30 in the whole school which was maybe about 0% of the school population that were alternative and listen to this kind of music
Yeah Inna, this guy is as weird as weird gets 😂!
Enjoyed your reaction, I think he has left you with a bit of curiosity now!
Thank you 😊
Some of those shots look like Philly today!
Need to check out more Marilyn Manson!!!
Beautiful People
Tourniquet
Antichrist Superstar
Thank you very much for the suggestions 😊

His videos are their own genre... "Marilyn Manson-Mephistopheles of Los Angeles" has a cool video, not scary
Manson's 'spookiness' was always meant to see who he could provoke. He was a bright guy until fame and drugs...
We had Alice Cooper in the 1970's... he was the weird "shock rocker" who made performing in outrageous costumes and showcasing a theatrical concert... black eyeliner... creepy persona... He still does it well @ 75 yrs of age.
In the 1980's, we got the band W.A.S.P. and their singer Blackie Lawless wielding a chainsaw on stage and taking Alice Cooper's 'shock rock' act to the next level.
In the 90's, Marilyn Manson debuted in 1994 and took it to the extreme... sexually explicit shows... risque constumes... visually disturbing imagery... He started out as Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids... and then just Marilyn Manson.
"Sweet dreams" came in 1995 from his EP 'Smells like children'...(It was a cover of the Eurythmics) and it became his first gold-selling record.
Sadly, the guitarist in the video Daisy Berkowitz (real name Scott Putesky) has since passed away...(R.I.P.)
It was the song 'The Beautiful People' in 1996 that truly made Marilyn Manson a star... 🤘🤘🔥🔥
Love Alice Cooper, seen him live many times in the last couple of years. He really earned the title godfather of shock rock . And he's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
I think there was slightly more to the album 'Mechanical Animals' than anything Alice Cooper has ever done.
@@sambbk7203 i disagree but that's just my opinion. I personally prefer Alice over Manson in general . He's a role model and much more influential
@@sophiecooper1824 Fair enough. I would consider looking at the album 'Mechanical Animals' though.
It's 2 albums in one, Ziggy stardust plus the actual commercial release of the fictional band. Only separated on the vinyl.
The CD blended it together by the dude that tracked 'The Wall' (I want to say bob ezrin).
But yeah, thanks for being polite. That's always nice on the internet.
@@sambbk7203 U kidding???
Alice Cooper has some great records recently - 'Brutal planet' (2000)... 'Dragontown' (2002)... 'The last temptation' (1994)... 'Welcome 2 my nightmare' (2011)
MM likes to shock with his visuals, maybe try a lyrics video next where the visuals won't distract you from the song itself.
Visuals were Potent. Shock value. I remember me & my girlfreind watching Mtv in 97 this video came on & later we saw Torniquet My GF said "hes a weird sadistic fkr but I kinda like this song" as for me it kept me watching.
The person who doing this REACTION Probably don't remember this song being this dark but this is Marilyn Manson version of this song being as Darker or Twisted that the original one.
I prefer his covers over the originals and I love the originals
Fun Fact: I went to a Marylin Mason concert once. I've listened to him before but I never really liked or loved and his music was alright atleast what I heard. I went and seen him and he was actually amazing live put on a heck of a show. During one of his song he began ripping pages out of a Bible a throwing it into the crowd and then he just chucked the whole Bible and it literally can straight to me lol. I just put out my arms and it fell straight in the and I tucked it toward my chest (like a punt returner would) and kinda hunkered over because people were trying to grab it from me lol. Idk I just thought it was funny and everyone tells me that it's cursed and some don't even want to touch it. I have since lost it lol I'm a Christian by the way lol. Btw you are so gosh darn cute mam🙂
🖤
geez your a doll
is cover as good
🤘🤘🤘
You must react to more of Manson's music. This is a cover. Try beautiful people, coma white, great big white world, tourniquet. There are soooo many good ones
Try to keep in mind that the original Eurythmics video was also shocking back in the day. A woman with a shaved head wearing a Nazi-esque, military uniform? That was shocking. My mom about flipped her lid when she first saw it.
If you watch some interviews of Marilyn Manson, you can see how intelligent this guy really is !!!
Marilyn Manson (or his videos) isn´t creepy.(He is such an intelligent and talented guy) The world and the ppl outside are creepy.
You NEED to listen to the "Speed of Pain" by Marilyn Manson, it is one of the most powerful songs ive heard and you will be surprised by it without a doubt.
looking at MARILYN MANSON HEARING PINK FLOYD
Inna, can you do a reaction to the band Tool? Preferably this song to start. TOOL - Forty Six & 2 (Audio)
It is the clearest version. and can you tell me what headphones you are using? They look awesome!! Also, this song version by Marilyn Manson is among his worst!! Tainted Love is awesome as is
MARILYN MANSON - SAY10 (Official Music Video) Johnny Depp is also in this!!!
*Suggestion:* Dopplehertz 👈
I lived through the 90s with the gothic around, funny I never see goths around anymore.
In order to really understand Marilyn Manson's music you must first dive into the lyrics and try to understand the deeper meaning. Once you truly understand the meaning of the lyrics then you can watch the video and marry it together with the lyrics to get a deeper meaning.
He's very talented and if you get past the image he tries to portray the music and lyrics are good.
Try 'tainted love' (another cover) before jumping into his own stuff.
Tainted Love is a cover of Soft Cell. Marilyn Manson has his songs that are both lyrically and musically masterfully crafted. He deserves respect and listening to his own lyrics and music.
He would cut himself with broken glass onstage during this song. That’s why his stomach is covered in scars.

Post-Goth
decadence in its final stages. Some celebrate something like that
react Marilyn more please
Song is about shrooms?
com in in your arm wat wnt...warmless lol...
Dang your beautiful
Self lajf nkdy no tiler petr jony fakt
Hey Inna, why are you so beautiful?
I don't really like him and I struggle with separating art and artist. But he's very popular so he must be doing something right.
He's not scary. He's disgusting. I _DO_ like this version of this song better than the original, though. He's someone who should be heard but not seen.

MM videos look like what you prob find on the dark web 😅
Right ahahaha
I find this guy utterly repellent.
Yeah he is, but this song/video and his version of Tainted Love a very good, but very bizarre.
It wasn't creepy to me. To me it was like watching an insane possessed man from a mental hospital.
I'm so sorry!
Your are scared from earlier and now choose one of his creepiest videos...
Much Love to You and Ukraine
💙💛💙🌻🌻🌻
How is
"Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused"
NOT creepy?
And have you seen Annie Lennox? (I am not saying she is creepy like Manson, but...)
There’s a slight possibility that the reason he is the way he is an over indulgence in modern chemistry.
Crikey, it is just visual imagery, designed to shock, no different to watching The Nun or The Exorcist, just with better music. Check out his song '3rd day of a 7 day binge', and you'll see he has some acting ability too.
Yah I could live without seeing this video or any of their music again.
Mushroomhead is a band that is creepy and they have some Slipknot vibes. I think you'll like it. I recomend you to listen to the song Qwerty
The visuals and the song go together. If not, what's the point? He's creepy and weird. That's the point. Some like it, most don't.

So what happened to Manson? Up and vanished....
He got accused of abuse allegations.
@@chrisscott3030 Who did he abuse?
@@user-qy8rj5nx7h Evan Rachel Wood. At least that's what she says. I say look at him. You're not going into that relationship thinking everything will be normal. I like his music.
Are you single
He is just an example of how trash can be called music in this day and age
Brian is amazing 👍
