My PlayStation and switch have always worked on my tcl tv until about last week. I switched from auto, but I don’t have the HDMI 2.0 option only “standard” , “auto” and “compatibility”... what do I do??

When I try to put HDR it says: "Your TV does not support HDR" and on Adjust HDR: it says : Your TV does not support HDR". Can you help me out maybe there is a setting I might have wrong?!

I was honestly about to fucking start crying after spending almost $800 on a TV that doesn't connect to my PlayStation .... I tried everything you said and it still wouldn't work , I took my HDMI cord I had on my PC and tried that and restarted my PS4 and it came on ... Thank god 🙏
So far so good with the selecting HDMI 2.0 suggestion. However, when I select 2.0 , turn on PS4, and then go back to select the PlayStation app on TCL, it only displays PS4 “checking system status message, then restarts and does not pick up the signal again. So I can change HDR option on PS4. None of my other TVs support hdr so I am stuck.

What brand TV is it?
Also, make sure the cable is actually HDMI 2.0. If it isn’t, you can get one cheap online or Walmart.

This is great BUT the tv keeps disconnects the ps4 for like 10 second every once in a while and it really messes me up
Not worth it then. Some games actually look better without HDR in my opinion. (Example Cyberpunk on PS4).
