    Ohh no.. I like this gun just a little to much. Just rebuilt my gen1 marauder too. Wouldn’t mind having a regulated gun with a big tank. This is pretty sick.

    That's a sick chassis that you have that chassis gun sitting in Rick. If the rifles a $G, how much is the chssis for the chassis?

      @@heithwatkins Mr. Eutzler keeps callin it a chassis rifle. 🤔 Maybe Saber Tactical can make a chassis for it then. So he doesn’t have to hold it in that bike rack lookin thangy.

      Hey there. I called it a chassis gun because that is how it was described to me. It that is incorrect, my apologies.

      Rick doesn't typically mod. He's made it pretty clear he's not a tinkerer like a lot of people. I'm sure he knows how to do it, but given what little free time he actually has he spends it on trigger time.

      I'm running the .22 and with the reg set at 1800 I'm getting 830 out of the baracuda match 21gr. I did not check velocity with the factory setting of 1500. I'm adding some washers to the back of the spring and will check on velocity. If I need to add weight to the front of the spring I think it will be a hollow cylinder with maybe some loose tungsten to act has a dead blow stop some of the bolt bounce

    Hello Rick, nice video. I have the same gun. Could you share how to make a good tunning for this rifle?

  • @texaspst968
    @texaspst968 2 роки тому

    Well now you need to go back and reshoot all the guns from the last 20 or so reviews with this gunrest!
    All joking aside, I watch every video the day it airs and had noticed you haven't used the Caldwell rest for the last 2 months. I was wondering where it went. You always looked more comfortable on that rest. Looks like is getting worn from the elements so I'm guessing that's why you put it away. Maybe time for a teardown, new paint and new hardware? As always, enjoying all the great content, keep um coming.

      Hey there Robert.. No.. I just pull them and shoot them. I may look into a pellet sizer and scale.. but I'm not a competitive shooter and rather show folks what they can expect jut cracking a tin and shooting down range.

      @@AirGunWeb yes sr I did I'm confused about the part that you added. Out of curiosity would just putting washers on the stock side of the spring be sufficient or does it need the extra weights to make this work

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  2 роки тому

      @@xxshooterxxdm - Hey there.. so you need the weight as well as the additional tension on the spring. That's why the little dead head was a good option.
      Hope that helps.

    In a way, I feel 25 is the hardest to qualify. You basically have to one hole your 5 .22 pellets. 50 is easier for me, and then 100 is hard again like @ 25. Just because of the sheer distance and the way groups usually open up way out there.

    You need to stop using the lead sled most people use a bipod and no rear bag out shooting we want to see your reviews in real word conditions

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  2 роки тому

      These are my real world conditions. If you watch the series on this gun, you’ll see it with a bipod and a couple different rests. I want to show the gun’s potential not my shooting abilities. It’s not about me, it’s about the products. When I used to live near a public range, 90% of shooters that shot bench rest targets used some sort of “sled” rest simply because they were more stable and took more of the human factor out of the equation. I want to find whatever gives me the best results. If that’s a bipod and bag, great. If that’s a strapped down lead a lead, I’m good with that too. Most of the time it will be what you’ve seen in this series on the Gunnar, a mix of several options.

      The hole point in shooting is the challenge to do it better and better. the person behind the trigger has as much to do with the accuracy as the gun does all mid to high end guns can shoot a one hole group if the human error is taking out where is the fun and skill in that I can shoot a sub moa group at 50 with my 12ftb hw110 with a £20 Amazon bipod. You can't use a sled in EBR or RMAC not sure about the rest. What's the point in cheating people say they can shoot a sub moa but really it the gun on a sled not them.

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  2 роки тому

      Yeah. I don’t see that as “the whole point.” We don’t agree and that’s ok. My point and why I do videos is to show what the guns can do. That’s what I go after as best I can. Others may do things differently and thats ok too.
