I am loving these educational videos!! I personally wash once a week and use a refresher spray during the week now. Since I have stopped using Eco, Wetline, etc and only use botantical gels, my hair does get Level 3 anymore. That's huge being a high porosity girl. But I have learned that for me and my household, aloe vera gel seals in my moisture better than most oils alone... Since learning and trusting in my knowledge and techniques.. It's definitely thriving better..

Loving these contents 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾. I’ve been leaving my hair in mini braids and just use my fenugreek hibiscus sprits and oh my hair is amazing. It’s summer time and my scalp really love it especially since I keep it in fridge

mamasbeeneez I boil the hibiscus leaves once it cools down and then I add about 1 ounce of fenugreek seed and let it sit over night then strain it the next day. Put the mixture into my spray bottle and then Mash up the fenugreek seed into a paste and turn it into a prepoo.

    • @fg1434

mamasbeeneez oh yea powders are tricky, you can try mixing the powders and then let them sit at the bottom and then pour the water portion into the bottle. I’ve tried fenugreek powder and sometimes it get in my hair and won’t get out until wash day

I needed this. I've been trying to follow other natural hair youtubers when they dont moisturize all week, and I always kept thinking it was the products. I spent so much money before I finally realised that my hair is naturally dry and I need to remoisturize during the week. Take advice, but always follow what YOUR hair needs

Day one: shampoo, rinse out conditioner, deep conditioner, leave in conditioner. I let the leave totally penetrate my hair. Bella Curls products
Day two : Blow out with grease. Quick flat iron. It works for me and I don't have that gritty feeling like I used to . Alas, the way my high porosity hair is set up, it poofs in this humid NC climate. Softee Olive Oil Hair and Scalp Conditioner aka grease.
Couple of days later: spray on hair sheen and curl refresher spray. Let sit. Lusti Olive Oil Hair Sheen (Dollar Tree) ; Bella Curls (Family Dollar/Dollar General)
Day later. Surprisingly, I use a body cream on my hair. It has a couple of "taboo" ingredients but my hair has been soft these past few days. And only for a dollar. I'm cheap. 😂 I tried doing all of this in one day and it just doesn't work. I have to space it out. Was using a Bella Curls Coconut Curling Creme but I discovered that my hair doesn't like beeswax. It would be bomb if it didn't have that. I know my hair prefers whipped but yet thick products, like creams, mousses, foams. Gels depends on what I want. I like lightweight gels for wash n gos. Look. I tried twists and my hair tangles too bad . And they're never the same size. 😂 Heavier gels are for the low buns and highpuffs. I have to blow out for the high puff. Gel: Softee Olive Oil Styling Gel.

I refresh my twist daily with a refresher spray by The Mane Choice Tropical Moringa and than two days out of the week with the refresher spray I will apply Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Butter Cream on the twist. Than the day before wash day, I will untwist my hair and still feel the moisture.

I've been washing my hair every two weeks with refreshing methods but that's stopped working so I tried every week and it does! Sadly in the UK natural hair products are not broad at all (cantu is everywhere that ain't work for me) and my shea cream stopped working for me.
