I was just saying that you can live out of the bannered mare and dragon's reach after you friend them because they have cooking spits and most of the containers are safe to put all of your stuff. Most of the containers at Jorvaskr are safe as well but there is no place to cook. Two other options are Ysolda's house and Uthgerd's house, but there's no cooking in Uthgerd's.
You have done something that no UA-camr has done in 6 years. You've made me want to go back to Skyrim.
Great story my dude. You've earned a sub.
Rory's tale is so touching. Hope to see more of your narrative adventures!
I legit was here like "Please adopt Lucia". This was a nice story. I was invested
You sir have done a great job. I hope to see all the excellent content after this. I was truly blown away with Rory’s story
I'm so glad you enjoyed!
Rorikstead is still in the Whiterun hold, it is the biggest hold in the whole game.
Amazing story! Thank you so much. I really hope you follow-up on the story in the future.
Thank you! Rory might have to make a return, since people like him so much!
the fact that this challenge run comes with _lore?_ Impeccable. Subbed
Not what I expected when I clicked on the video, a nice surprise! Thanks for the content, this was great
I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching!
Lmao "since the farmers weren't up yet I harvested the crops and saved them to sell back to the farmers later" ya honest playthrough huh
Man this deserves way more views this video was brilliant. You did a great job with the narrative too, well done
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it!
@vikst.varlik726 looking forward to more 😁
Ending the story to the track "The Streets of Whiterun" is just... chef's kiss.
Knowing what they're supposed to look like, all the modded faces look like creepy wax figures.
Great video!
Yeah, I don't care for a lot of the character retextures myself, but I thought it might make the video seem "higher quality" maybe? I don't plan to keep them for the next video (stripping back my mods overall so the game runs a little smoother).
@@vikst.varlik726For whiterun males I recommend Sons of Nirn. For females there's lots of options, but they'll only be compatible together if you learn how to use the easyNPC mod/tool.
This little skyrim video means so much to me
Wow ! This is great, really liked the whole narrative and that didn't had overly strict rules, keep it down to be entertaining! hope you make more certainly looking forward to it
"No stealing" immediately steals apples and an ax
04:26 fish existed in the game before the Anniversary Edition and the fishing mechanic, and they worked that same way: they were physical moving object that you would harvest and then the fish was added to your inventory
Stealing from the rich doesn’t count is such a great line
It’s still a horrible thing
@@Lady_Amelia-Eloiselick thst boot
@@bongwaterbaptist Theft is theft, I hate the Uber wealthy just like everyone else who's poor, but having your mindset will keep you there.
i realy liked the more narrative approach of this video, its not something a lot of other people do but you pulled it off realy well! have you considered trying similiar challenges in other skyrim settlements like riften or markarth?
That could be very fun, thanks for the suggestion!
Now this, this is my favorite part of playing Skyrim. Creating not just a fancy pair of boots with a face to step into, but a character, a person, with goals and ambitions that I’m only behind so I can bring their goals to life
Wonderful, wonderful work
I really liked this! Its a beautiful, peaceful story told for an unexpected angle. I quite liked the editing too! Keep at it!
Brother Rokrikstead is definitely within Whiterun hold
Just discovered your channel. I hope you bless us with more Skyrim
17:26 😂😂😂you earned my like, sir.
Only 600 views??? Man, this content is worth so much more, keep it up!
Thank you! I'm blown away by the attention this is getting!
Investing a perk point in the first speech perk would've cut your time in half I'm pretty sure.
oh this video fresh asf,, oh this CHANNEL fresh asf,, hell yeah count me in 🥳
Glad to see people still pumpin out Skyrim content. This shit never gets old.
Gee, I wonder in history if they ever just paid people in salt.
Probably, it used to be super valuable
@@baldxiao Yeah, that was the joke.
this was a really wholesome video, man. Thank you for making it.
looks like I've seen your Ritual Stone video at least once, I'm gonna rewatch it and subscribe.
A beautiful story, I am definitely subscribing for more amazing tales! Keep it up!
Welcome! Thank you for the support!
This was shockingly wonderful. I'm so glad I stumbled on this.
If Rory creates a market stall and sells items himself, he’ll make way more money…😊
Your writing and storytelling ability is phenomenal. This video is genius.
Glad it ended before Rory went to bed and got abducted by mistake and dragged into the terrifying world of assassination.
You’re a really good storyteller, this seemed fun to make! I hope you make more like this
UA-cam finally showing love to new creators
They always do
Love the storytelling! Challenge videos are fun but the way you brought these once uninteresting characters to life would keep me coming back
"Stealing from the rich doesn't count."
Rory got so desperate he forgot his morals. But I guess once a beggar, always a beggar.
It’s morally righteous to steal from the rich.
@@justinb864 yeah the rich could just replace what was stolen
This video was freaking amazing. Loved the narrative approach.
So rory will kill animals but not skeletons? My brother in talos they're already dead
Can’t believe the production value on this. Keep up the amazing work!
IM SUBSCRIBING!!! ALSO YOU NEED MORE SUBS!!!! I’m glad I’ll be apart of the first 50!!!!👍👍👍
Thank you for the support, welcome!
@@vikst.varlik726 and thank you for the great vids brother! Honestly I don’t know your reason for video making but you have a NACK naturally for Skyrim content brother! But whatever your plan is you got a supporter and cancel culture won’t stop this subscriber!
@@vikst.varlik726 and at almost 4K subs, I’d say congratulations brother, congratulations 🤙
This was nice, definitely gotta see whats next like will it be a new story with a new character or another Rory adventure of some kind 🤔 keep it up tho n lookin forward to the next one 👍
338 VIEWS WHAT
I don't even play Skyrim and I loved this.
You struck it big with this video man, congratulations to you. Everything about watching this video to checking your channel and seeing that this was a big breakthrough for you was wholesome and refreshing. I haven’t gotten to see your story in a neatly put together video but I think my mind has pieced together a bit of a story itself. Again congratulations!
Hey! I don't mean to be invasive. I just went to go watch your last video and your voice gave me whiplash a bit. I can't know your situation, but I know mine: trans and took T for 3 months before being forced to stop due to an immigration out of America. I don't know if I'll ever be able to go on T again, but I know my voice now sounds like yours did, two years ago. The thought that maybe, possibly I could sound like you do in another two years if I'm able to start T again - if I decide to - is completely stunning.
It's good to maybe potentially see another lifelong TES nerd maybe possibly achieve a similar dream.
This made me tear up, thank you. I hope you're able to get back on T in the near future, if that's what you want to do. I'm happy you were able to get out and I hope you're safe wherever you are now. The US has become so dangerous for trans people so quickly.
I love everything about this video. A narrative approach with an idea I'd always wanted to try in Skyrim. Concept, execution, and editing were easily 10/10. I look forward to watching your other videos!
Other than the unnecessary cringy "ACAB" bit, this was enjoyable to watch. Always love a good Skyrim role-playing video. Might be a good idea to keep the social commentary out of these vids though.
The stories you weaved into this video made it so much more engaging and I cannot wait for more content like this! Keep it up man, the quality of the vid was not that of someone with a channel so small. Superb 👌
Odd little bit of politics around @9:08
Seems like Rory needs to stop being an anachronism and act like a being that’s alive during the middle ages where every day was a fight just to live.
Great video, if you ignore the cringeworthy politics.
I have never known how much I needed a storytelling style like yours with playthroughs- this is beautiful. Subscribed, please do more!!
Was interested and into the video till you flashed ACAB on the screen. I'm surprised nobody else noticed or was talking about it in the comments.
dont think anybody cares
@@Putper Well obviously I do. It's a horrible narrative to push even if jokingly.
@@matthewrobinson3048The criminal justice system is morally bankrupt and there is nothing wrong with simply speaking the truth. It’s also useful as a slogan because it catches people off guard. Surely “some cops are bastards” doesn’t really speak to the reform that is needed. No one saying a cop can’t be a good person, but if the system is rotten through then so are its agents. A spoiled apple spoils the bunch so to speak. You should research more about the movement to reform and revolutionize how criminal justice is done in our society instead of taking the reactionary stance and making it about the culture war, which is useless to progress.
I do not understand how this video has 374k views but YOU on have 5k subs. What I do understand is you are a legitimately descent writer and story teller. I'm here for it. Never stop climbing.
Acab is cringe
Bootlickers are cringe
I cried at the happy ending. Either you’re a wonderful storyteller or I’m a big baby. Probably both
