Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart is still the BEST Linear PS5 Game since even the Relase of the PS5! But why Kena: Bridge of Spirits wasn't in this list? 😮

Moving and shooting, even Parrying enemy attacks with a knife in RE4 Remake never gets old.

No, I simply played RE4 Remake on the PlayStation 5.
I did multiple playthroughs in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, and that game never bored me.

I find that to be true with Ratchet and Clank in general. I have the platinum in the PS4 entry and I still played through it again when I got the PS5

I'm a simple man. I see an actual beautiful portrayal of woman in gaming which isn't an ugly/trans/black/orc/ like in the West i click too. Not to mention it isn't w0ke, doesn't have microtransactions, it's VERY optimized considering many AAA games are unfinished mess day 1 and it's very very fun to play.
Personally the best game of 2024. The only downside is the censorship which I'm very disappointed about it but it's Sony they embraced this when they moved their HQ in California.
Respect for mentioning Rift Apart and Astro's Playroom - I honestly can't think of better games that not only showcase the PS5 so well, but are also just amazing too.
Guardians is so criminally underrated. We need a sequel!!
It has some of the most repetitive gameplay of all time.
What about underrated linear games like:
- The Callisto Protocol
- Soulstice
- Wanted: Dead
+ A Plague Tale series

Evil West is pretty underrated. It’s a very solid old-school linear game that is tons of fun to play because of its brilliant combat and enemy design.
My first two PS5 games: Astro's Playroom and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. What amazing games!
Rift apart is so good. Playing it right now and I love the difficulty, weapons, and even the side quest. Never feel bored playing it. Such a beautiful game too
Evil West was really fun, underrated gem
It was the only digital game I bought last year and……… lost 60 bucks.
I have stellar blade and resident evil 4 love both but in stellar blade it’s many side missions that makes it more great and not so linear 🎉🎉🎉

What do you mean "linear". Like.. Stellar Blade has a story yes, but also has several big open world segments. So i'm not sure i would include that. Plus plenty of back tracking for side quests etc. Like its a game that is not quite like the others in this list as being a bit more open.
I'd say it's similar to 3D Metroidvanias like Jedi Survivor and God of War 2018/Ragnarok.
Stellar Blade is only linear if you completely ignore the tons of side quests and discoverable collectables scattered across it's two rather expansive open-world areas.
It is truly a Stellar game though, pun intended.
Currently playing Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for the first time and I'm surprised, I'm having a blast
Stellar Blade is a second party game. Sony doesn't own them. It didn't go under the radar. It was number one in pre-orders on the psn store.

Unpopular opinion, Callisto Protocol deserved to be on the list as well. Though it’s short, it’s a great game.

The plauge tale games are both masterpieces. Must play for any fan of strong story lines

A lot of games you mention are NOT linear (what this vid is about), like Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima and Assassin's Creed Valhalla 😉
Most of those are open world, not linear at all. Valhalla takes like 100hrs+ 😂

They’re deserving, but it’s still impressive how The Last of Us entries always make these Mojo lists. And yet they still don’t get the recognition they deserve in the mainstream media.
How so? Both games have won countless game of the year awards
@@DanWMiller I know but unless you follow game news that stuff gets easily missed for the average person. I wish it had the level of notoriety that catches the attention of non-gamers. Like before the HBO show came out, many people I know had never heard of it. But they knew about Halo, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, etc. I’m just saying I wish more people would see its out there.
@@TheMarkANelsonI think it has something to do with amount of games made by each of the franchises you listed almost non of them made for “non-gaming world” before at least second game and most often 3rd or 4th games despite how successful the first 2-3 games are in gaming world
@@TheMarkANelsonthe games you mentioned are legendary and some have more than 25-30 years of story behind. Last Of Us sold millions and part 2 divided its fan base, that’s why no one gives a shish about it anymore.
@@worlds_greatest_detective6667 And yet TLOU had more of an impact on who I am as a human being and what matters to me than all the other ones combined. I think it’s a crime of humanity that everyone hasn’t experienced TLOU. I jest but a part of me does believe that.

@@aytgh I really could care less about the tiny bit of censorship if it helps the game sell more copies in stricter regions. More sales the better the chances of a sequel and I loved the game and want more of it

The Last of Us Part 1 Remastered, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Forspoken, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Evil West, Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2 and Stellar Blade are the Best Linear PS5 Games in my opinion, I have The Last of Us Part 1, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Forspoken and Spider-Man 2 (because I have Spider-Man 2 Special Edition PS5) and I want to buy and play Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Alan Wake 2 and defienitily Evil west what looks the Best Game, because it's not an Open World game like how many games are Open Worlds today, Evil West looks really awesome first-person-shooter action game where you trying to kill Vampires in the Wild West, that's the Best idea for the Game and it's not an Open World! No, they didn't. Resi 4 released 2005 and got nominated for "Game of the Year", and Dead Space came out 2008.

God of War Ragnarok??? Not 100% linear, but pretty much, and pretty much the best quality game of all time in terms of graphics and storytelling.
