the only time i regret buying a game was when i bought AC Valhalla on PC other than that i don't have regrets even for games like TLOU or Starfield when TLOU was a trash port and Starfield is a mid game

What one considers a great game is mostly subjective. I could buy a game that's considered great by the general audience, it doesn't mean I'd like it personally.
Lies of P is sooooooo fun, I finally moved on after NG+8 and 423hrs later🤣🤣🤣

Dont worry mate the game is highly unbalanced if you wanna smoothsail there are weapons that are stupidly powerful so you can easily finish the game. Dont let the soulsborne genre scare you all games of that genres have noob friendly builds.
I actually played Lies of P 4 times. Once on gamepass, then bought it on playstation and played through to NG+ 3
Same here. I didn’t know about it until it came out on gamepass. Got all the achievements and I just replayed it about a month ago on PlayStation and got the platinum

I didn’t play Starfield but I kind of like ,,eurojank” games. Greedfall for example, Gothic. Bethesda gave me such feeling too!
Starfield is a good game . Don’t be a bangwagoner sheep and not enjoy it because people tell you not to

I love these types of videos. It shows you EVERYONE has a different take in what's good to them. To me 3 if these games are good. But I can respect why you like the others.

Im a VERY picky Soulslike fan, and Lies of P was amazing. The soulslike gods finally shined down on us.
Will add BG3 to the list. It won like every game of the year so am sure everyone already knows about it. It is one of few games I'm still playing almost 10 months after it was released.

Only drawback from AW2 is it’s not on steam. I like using steam link and playing on my phone, and I use it via moonlight, which is annoying. Epic Games Launcher doesn’t play well with my iPhone telescope controller. 😢

You will definitely regret buying Alan Wake 2. Walking simulator with barebones gameplay in it.

I pretty much never regret BUYING a game because ... piracy.
to me piracy is a tool, one that some use to get free stuff and never pay for it while i use it to test games and see whether or not it's worth MY money.
For instance, when Ghost of tsushima came on pc i had no idea how good it was, never saw any gameplay, test or what not etc. I also wanted to give the middle finger to sony and their stupid psn thing that litteraly lock millions of players away and force them to actually pirate their game...
yet as soon as i launched the game i knew i'd buy it and i wasn't wrong. I played through the story once, started a second playthrough and bought it when i could. At this point i already have at least 130hours including the pirated version, and i'm only at the start of NG+. I love testing different builds for different armor, speed run some camp with these builds etc, exploring is so chill that sometime i just do that for hours.
Thing is, if i didn't use a pirated copy at first i would NOT have bought the game at all. same with SOOO many games... elden ring, lies of P, Horizon Zero dawn and forbidden west, FF XVI, ready or not, hades, Ori, Dead Cells, GR Wildlands, DBZ Kakarot... and the list goes on and on.
Piracy also allow you to KEEP your game no matter what happen, it's the only true way to actually own your games now that everything is stored in account's... lose you account? to bad, lose hundreds if not thousands of euros.
The reason i'm saying all that is not necessarely to push people toward piracy since it can indeed be dangerous for your computer and sometimes your private information if you don't know where to get your games, what you are doing etc. I'm merely saying all that because it's ONE of the many things you can do before buying to make sure you won't regret it.

It was actually on my list, but I decided not to include it yet because I haven't finished the game. But to be fair, I am enjoying the game so far. Maybe in my future videos.

I'll take the bait. The game wouldn't have been as visually or thematically interesting without both perspectives. Spending all your time as Alan Wake in the dark place isn't nearly as intriguing as switching between both realities. It allowed the creators to show off the fancy tech without which it would have been more of a retread of the original. But what do you care? It's not like you're going to play it because "black girl bad" amirite?

Too many of these are just overhyped mediocre games which are guaranteed to have you regretting wasting your time and money. I could mention specifics, but that'd make you waste more time replying to me so just take it however you want, the only large-scale games that are worth a purchase are Nioh, Wo Long, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, The trails series (I started with cold steel), the Witcher 3, Hollow Knight, Bravely trilogy, and Slay the Spire. Anyone else got some solid recommendations?

Hogwarts Legacy? It's good but the lack of developped side quest (except the 4 main students), the need of revelio spam and the Merlin's puzzle made me thinking this game doesn't fit in this video. Yes he win the most anticipate game award, because of Harry Potter, and after his realese lot's of people see that beyond the Harry Potter paint job, he's an average RPG, not a bad one, but surelly not a great one.
Elden Ring would have deserved to take his place on this video, it's also an RPG, he came out the same year as God of War and he was taken as example several times in this video. So why don't put it in the video instead of just name it as an example for others games?
Alan Wake 2 wat a bad start to be honest. But lots of diverse games, many of which I would find boring, the lack of more indie titles was felt because citing AAA games which brought nothing than beautiful graphics and felt lackluster to their own counterparts did not help the list, but each to their own opinion. There were some good games though, RE 4 being a great remake and a faithful one. Lies of P despite being super janky was original in a certain way. Jedi Survivor is and remains a highlight of AAA gaming a proper game, with proper gameplay and a proper experience. No rest for the Wicked got a mention and that's commendable the game has issues but it has great potential.

If you haven't played it yet, then go for it. Also, you need a PSN account for the multiplayer mode, so just create one if you want to play with other players online.

I gotta be honest, as a die hard souls fan, Lies of P felt not so great. The main problem with Lies of P is the enemies' moveset, the timings are busted. You block or parry the attacks of a mini boss for example, just about to hit him but he attacks you first. That's the main problem. Other than that, it's a decent soulslike, just not for those who played all soulsborne games before and wanna try something new.
Everyone likes something else, I find Lies of P as the best souls-like since Bloodborne ( my all time favorite) . For someone else it is a trash. I don't have your problems with the game, so for me it is a masterpiece and I'm enjoying it like hell .
I would regret when UA-camrs get all games free with built in mods from useless developers

Ff16 was wayyyyyy to easy it’s nowhere near a challenge it’s almost as if it were made for 8 year olds. As long as you can read on a 1 st grade level that’s the only skill one needs
