@@sunnny819 I will admit it was lucky that all might ran into Deku but it isn't really lucky that he got all might's powers since the reason he got the powers was because all might saw the traits of a great hero in him and every fight where he ends up pulling off something big that you'd think he shouldn't be able to they give a reason (1000000% was because of how people's bodies release more power when they are in a life or death situation, 100% against overhaul was because of eri's quirk and even then he had to deal with her quirk getting stronger, etc) and i feel like even though he did cry a lot in season 1, that is not what defines him and he crys a lot less as the series progresses.. I think what defines him is his personality combined with his intelligence and power. You can't define a person by one thing you see them do and that's probably why I was never bothered by his crying.
Lol nobody needs to like him more than Deku But calling Mirio boring is going really far Wtf "boring" means if you link that to such an incredible character like Mirio
@@Junior-lc2im what is so incredible about him? I admit he was a badass in the fight with Overhaul and he was very kind to his friends and Eri BUT I can't remember no other thing about him. Maybe it's my problem but for me character doesn't work, I just don't care about him at all.
@@sunnny819 I feel like right now he would be stronger than Deku if he had one for all but that's because he's had more time and experience trying to outthink people and to have less obvious moves. I mean, they've pointed out to Deku over and over again that his moves are obvious which makes me think he is going to work on that. Plus (spoilers for manga) One for all with deku has multiple quirks that are stronger due to the stored power so he has more powers which gives him more room to be creative. The reason I say with Deku is because we know that when ofa is given to people who already have quirks, their quirk becomes stronger. I believe that since Deku and all might didn't have a quirk, that's the reason ofa was able to build up enough power to give deku all the other quirks. It makes sense that it is easier to build up power for multiple quirks if it doesn't have to put energy into strengthening the person's own quirk which makes me believe if Mirio got it there wouldn't be enough power to give him the other quirks, or at most they wouldn't be anywhere near as strong
@@themadman4062 *SPOILER* wait, he cant do anything? Isn't he the one who actually hurted Overhaul having no quirk for five minutes? Overhaul isn't the one who killed Rappa like five times easily in seconds? I think he can do something Edit: i forgot to put a spoiler tag
The Twice part of the episode was adapted from chapter 115, while the rest of the episode adapts the second half of chapter 121 and chapter 122. Twice's chapter happens after Toga's reveal (chapter 114) and before All Might visiting All for One in jail (chapter 116), that's why it might seem weird that the two halves had a very different feel with one being serious and the other more relaxed. Also about Japan school: High school on Japan is 3 years, the school year is divided into 3 trimesters, the first one starts on April and ends on July. August is summer vacation (and almost all of Season 3 happened here), they're back, which means it's September, the start of the second trimester, it ends on mid December where they have a small winter break, christmas, new year... Coming back on early January for the third trimester which ends on early March. The Big 3 was introduced by Aizawa as the best of UA, not only the 3rd years. The one All Might was looking and the one tapping the shoulder were the blonde boy and the girl of the Big 3 (even if you can't see their faces on the assembly, you can confirm it by their hair being the same on both scenes).
Omg you're about to meet one of my favourite characters (the dark haired boy in the big three) Also, I have a suggestion for two animes you'd enjoy: Dr Stone and Servamp. I would love for you to check them out
3 Years in japan. We have 4 for some reason, maybe they have their 9th grade in the schools before high school. Also Twice has multiple personality disorder because of his quark, he was traumatized from his clones that he dissociated to the point of developing another personality. So when he switches back and forth the voices change, also the mask helps him control it, to have a different face I think. I don't think they specifically say anything.
I don't know why I didn't pick up on this before, but the "Big Three" nickname for the upperclassmen is mostly likely a reference to the "Big Three" of Shonen Anime fame (Bleach, Naruto, One Piece). Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, though.
@@risen3031 Dragonball isn't really considered apart of the "Big Three", as its considered "above them" in the pyramid of Anime that got flooded to us suddenly, back in the 90s. And the people who argue that, weren't around back then. Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece were called the Big Three, because they all came out at roughly the same time, and took all of us by storm. Dragonball had us hooked, long before those became mainstream. We had stuff like Inyuyasha and Yu Yu Hakasho, but not everyone watched them (myself included). The Big Three caught everyone's attention though, and established a lot of the Anime tropes we see today.
Horikoshi basically created most of the quirks in the series after office supplies and stationery. Twice is the photocopier, even his costume looks like a black and white copy button.
I wouldn't call Deku and Bakugo's relationship as being that similar to All Might and Endeavors. Deku always cared for Bakugo, ever since they were young and even though Bakugo was a jerk to him. But Bakugo always felt threatened by Deku, because they both had the same dream of being like All Might, but Deku wanted to save people and Bakugo wanted to beat up bad guys. This gave Bakugo a kind of inferiority complex, but deep down he still cared about Deku in his own messed up way. Now, the messed up way can be reduced as they come to mutual respect. All Might and Endeavor was more of a one sided rivalry. Endeavor wanted to beat All Might and could never catch up, which made him bitter. But they never really had a close friendship or history.
The cow/horn girl thing doesn't rly work with the English dub. She's a native English speaker while everyone is actually speaking Japanese, so when she was told to say something.. she was just repeating what was being told to her rather than actually understanding what she was being told to say.
Deku and Bakugo have a much different relationship than All Might and Endeavor. I don't think it is really justified to compare them to each other. But with that said I do understand where you guys are coming from by making that comparison.
