Glad to finally have a use for the candles (no more Breacher PD, yay!), but the hero stuff is very disappointing. I was hoping we'd have another rework around this time, but with this update, that's unlikely to happen for another month at least.
Most of it could have been programmed by an intern in his free time over the span of a week. Considering it took them 8 weeks, there is very little juice in it.

The shackles getting Gain on hit: Immobilize is actually really good. It's like a single target General's head, you can keep audrey in 4 and lunge all day. Or on someone like runaway, dragonfly hits two targets so it'll give you two immobilize I think.
Im happy to see more endgane candle stuff, i still wonder when were getting the "past" skins tho

I understand what it means to have a plushie of your favorite character. I didn't know about the plague doctor one but since it already exists I voted for the GR one.
Another step in the right direction, I have a lot of hope for Red Hook, hopefully they keep ironing out stuff
Yeah it's kind of annoying to not know if Redhook are going to adress certain issues with DD2 or not.
Since they kind of just leave us in radio silence, and all of a sudden they drop some surprise update.
Wish we got more teasers for upcoming patches / updates.
The RES piercing being moved to skills does indirectly nerf combat items since Heroes like Alchemist PD wont have that bonus on Spore Grenade for example

I would really like to see unique item unlocks for completing runs with the different negative flames. maybe like an item that appears in the first inn for you to bring with you or in the "loot" re-roll system they're adding. and they shouldnt have downsides considering you're doing a run thats ungodly difficult.

Nah it has all the same buffs but you can't see them because of how the new paths are coded lmao

So at a quick glance, my understanding is many of these paths werent actually changed; the numbers were just moved to their individual skill descriptions right? I really like the monarch buff bringing up leper's damage floor and making him lean less on crit against cosmic targets, but cruel intent was always my favorite way to play him lol.
That's at least how it reads. The numbers are not correctly converted though. Some paths got a buff while others like Tempest got a huge nerf. No idea if this was a mistake by RH or actually intended.

The working fields rework is amazing.
Quirk Re-Rolls are nice.
And the paths are easier to understand.
However, What I kind of hate is the new hold down button.
I don't know if we can toggle it off or not, but it's kind of annoying when I'm so used to just clicking.
Also another note on updates in general.
REDHOOK please, share some news or small posts about what you're working on.
It's kind of boring being left in radio silence and all of a sudden get a big updated dropped on us.
Not out right being spoiled, but a teaser or a hint for an upcoming patch / update would be nice.
Besides that, an overall decent update.

For the people who ship GR/PD, I will vote GR (was considering Jester for the troll).
Am I the only one who preferred the old way of displaying the changes to different skills on the different paths? Having to click each skill one by one and checking the effect is way less clear IMO, than seeing a list of the changes.

Terrible choices for the plushies. Think about it, the only one who truly deserve a plushy is Flagellant! Nobody likes that guy. Even Academic, guy who likes literally everyone in your group including you, dislike Flag. And for what may I ask? For taking your stress upon himself? For being an unbreakable wall between you and your enemies? For healing you at the cost of his own health? None of that is fair, I say. For dealing with all this discrimination and injustice on a daily basis Flagellant needs a hug, and Flagellant plushy is a perfect way of delivering said hug!

I wish they rework leper path there so uninteresting compared to some other hero.
