- This is Great White doing there hit "Angel Song" live on TV..I guess they rarely did it live because it had to have a piano in it? It's the only "LIVE" clip I could find!! of it..Yea I know the quality sucks :-(
I want to thank you all for comments and sorry it was live I wouldn't have any notes that trailed off to flat on a recording although it wasn't perfect it's still pretty good and that's only my opinion for what it's worth and whoever said it wasn't live listen to the lastnote and compare it to the album. nuff said. @Shawn Wright the less people to pay the more money to make. A DJ can earn up to 40 million a year with his laptop (as you see children dj's living in a 20k sqft house) where a rock group has not only a big crew but instruments and gear resulting in a high cost to run.
For the most part it is especially in the us but go to europe...you should check out bands like snakebite and crazy lixx
Why not enjoy this music instead of always complaining about stuff ?

This was an incredible performance, Jesus it sounds like a studio version. I remember Great White back then, pure talent. I give Jack Russell credit, he's still at it after all these years. Respect.

Jack has to be up there with Paul Rodgers as one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time. First heard Great White back in the late 80s when I were just a lad, and listening to Jack now takes me right back to my youth. I've been through some 'shit' since then and so has he, but we're still rockin'!!!!!!!

I think there is only one Great White Band and that is with Jack Russell! His voice is what made their songs great along with the very talented band! I had seen you in concert years ago when you were all together in Toledo Ohio, best concert I had ever been too! I have seen Jack Russell 3 times also! It's sad you are all not together no more, but still Only one Great White! Your music will always be my favorite!❤
Awesome! I remember back in my "mall days" I got the cassette single with "Rock me" on one side & this song was on the other. I never heard it b4. I got the single because I was broke, needed something to listen to on the bus, plus most bands only had like 3 songs max that were actually good on an entire album. I was shocked bc BOTH songs out of TWO ROKT!
Sad that today, many years later.... ALL mainstream music SUX (in my opinion), malls are barely a thing, and riding busses is more dangerous than being locked in a wildlife exhibit.

This is one of my top 3 favorite songs from the glam rock era. It was less of a smash than many others, but this song grabbed me and stayed with me to never leave my heart nor to ever be forgotten, and I have revisited it many times throughout my life and I always will.

I was walking threw the mall in California Cerritos I think and I was wearing a great white shirt his mom and dad walked up to me and said they liked my shirt then they asked me if I knew who they were and of course being only seventeen I said no they said they were the singingers mom and dad I was like wow really and they chuckled and said yeah we are I told them that I love their music and I'm glad to meet you and they walked away and no I didn't get signatures or have the shirt anymore and don't live in California anymore but was a unique experience.

nice to see a live performance that isn't obviously lip syncing. it's NOT just new artists that are guilty of this. it seems like 90% of these "live" tv performances are blatantly the album version of the song with the artist lip syncing and making dramatic faces.

Such a Rock n Roll journey this band has been thru, but they will always be in my heart.Growing up i listened to them alot, but never giving enough real praise to their music..I was drawn to the Metal crowd (Sabbath, Maiden, Priest, DIO). Hey Jack. I wanted to tell you that this particular set inspired me to become a singer. This is one of the best live vocal performances I’ve ever seen. I’ve been at it for about a couple decades now, but can’t seem to get that twang you have to work. With my luck, I’ll get it down, then I’ll get hit in the throat with a line drive.

Uncle Jack is the most underrated singer in music history the motherfucker can sing !!! One of the greatest of all-time. This song is one of my favorites from Great White, it took on a whole new significance when my baby sister only 13 months younger than I lost her life 5 years ago to drug addiction and I'm still battling 💔

Ive been listening to GW for years and saw them live in Elko NV in 2005 (i think) one of the best bands that ever existed in my humble opinion. Jack Russell was and is awesome! No one sounds like him and he sounds like no other!

An incredible singer so underrated.
The piano just alone is beautiful.. that's what makes this song.. and yeah Jacks voice, mark's solo's. It's sad because I can't help but to think of all the fans out there that were listening to this and one day some of them would go see Great White at the station night club. perhaps just because of this song.. fans are fans for a lot of reasons.. and a lot of different songs.
I remember this when it happened! I stayed up late on a school night to watch it.
