Yeh , I agree ! I play a Martin D-28. My buddy plays a 12 string. This song is on our set list. Great song ! GW does excellent versions of Zeppelin in general. The fire thing wasn't their fault. It was who owned the theater / club they were playing in.

I"ve always said Jack Russell is one of the few "hair band" vocalists that could actually SING on a pure level.
I've never put Great White in the "hair band" category. They were all just too damned talented. There was no bs with make up, chicks clothes, high heels, and other stupid crap. They just went out there and played. Bluesy rock done well without pretension. This MTV unplugged, I think, was them at their pinnacle.

Flawless. Fucking flawless. Mark and Jack were an awesome combination. I wish they could put their differences aside and tour together still. "She Only" is another fine example of what these two were capable of together. Not taking anything away from the rest of the band, either. These guys were way, way, way underrated. They had some of the finest combinations of guitar, vocals, and piano that could be done in blues based rock n roll. Check out the video of "Since I've Been Loving You" that they covered, if you like this one. Jack and Mark tore it up on that one too, along with the rest of the band. Zeppelin would have been hard pressed to top either of these performances.
I am going to get blasted for this, but this version IS BETTER THAN ZEPPELIN... Jack's voice live is SO FUCKING Phenomenal... Have seen them live several times... Have always loved the great ones... Lady red light, rock me, etc.. BUT, my personal favorite live are the zep classics, and Congo Square... what a fucking shame the two of them can't get back together and mend the fence... Jack and Mark... just do it...

I had the pleasure of meeting he and Mark Kendall in Indy in October 2002 at the Rathskeller... we walked into a small after hours place in Indy, and Jack broke-out in his version of "in the light" and the place just stood still... In total amazement... it was so fucking surreal... Then less than 3 months later, the fire happened...

I’m 52 and was getting another tattoo and the artist was telling me about see Foreigner. I told him that I saw them at the cotton bowl in Dallas in the 80’s. Texas Jam 82 or 83. The 80’s Rocked !! I grew up about 45 minutes from reunion arena in Dallas Texas. We’d skip school to go buy concert tickets. I talked for about 30 minutes to the artist about the 80’s. Rambling on here.. Great White started out as a Zeppelin cover band and took off from there and at no point were they underrated. They were the shit in the 80's and 90's.
