The winning strategy for Bitt3rsteel is always the same. Buy DLCs. Buy Together For Victory so yo can ask for lend lease and buy another one to get more factories at the start. I don't know which one gives you more factories. He's very good at playing that extended version. I guess most UA-camrs ar using all the DLCs. Small tip: Improve relationship with Italy. No matter of your ideology, they are always willing to give guns in crazy amount. After 40% world tension improve relationship with Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Because of there's army restrictions they have a thousand of guns and free supply, before they actually can spawn troops.
I remember one time I was playing as Japan and was able to invite Italy into the Co-Prosperity Sphere because they apparently wanted to contain the aggression of one of the random warlords. I guess Mussolini is always just willing to help out.
I saw in a TommyK video that the wiki recommended a strat for one of the achievements that involved turning off historical focuses but then putting specific countries on historical. It lets you have most of the predictability of historical while potentially removing specific problem countries like Germany. IDK about you but I suspect there’s more nonsense we can do with that.
It's great for helping other countries form a nation too. Like Siam forms Rattanakosin, El Salvador forms Central America, Latvia forms the Baltic Union, and German Reich going black. I think the last one should've been allowed for AI Germany in Historical On because H-man wanted it anyway.....
I just realized one thing that this might be useful for: non-historical might give a chance for Japan to not fight the US which means they probably wouldn’t join the allies. I’ll have to test that for an axis-focused game.
@@sethyboy0 another thing that sucks about japan is I was playing fascist France but with historical focuses on. I joined the axis and was balling out. There is a guide on steam which makes this achievement a no-brainer. You basically have to defend 3 provinces (level 7 bunkers) once Barbarossa starts. This way the Soviets will endlessly attack you and die by millions while the Germans have an easy time to crush them. When the war is over you will have enough war score to take the states that are necessary to form Siberia. It was really easy to do I myself was surprised.

I already watched the video of the guy doing it first. You need amazing stamina to even think about doing a Tanna Tuva run, let alone forming Siberia with it.
So many RNG on this run though. 1. Xibei San Ma joins CUF as Bitter mentioned. One less of the two puppet is a lot on your manpower. 2. Naval invasion: it is not guaranteed Japan or USSR would go for naval immediately and Japan could take Qingdao very early. It would led to Japan took a lot of land and affect war score massively. Better place I found (twice) is near Fuzhou or Xiamen where less coast guard is present. But still, no guarantee. If you didn't grab enough war score and build a strong puppet, Japan is likely (no hard data, just a feeling) to justify on your Chinese puppet very early. See point 4 below. I'm also surprised to see Japan took mid-western China for themselves in Bitter's run, my experience they always puppet warlords. 3. A later Soviet declare Finland is RNG unless war with China could finish very early. All 3 times I tried Soviet started winter war late 39' historically and Finland joined Japan and got took out at the end altogether. 4. Most annoyingly!! Japan WILL justify on your Chinese puppet at a random time. At least the 3 times I tried, they always do. Great video, Bitt3r! I was wondering if maybe perhaps you could do a re-vamped "The People Have Stood Up!" achievement, as the last one doesn't really appear to work anymore. From what I've gathered on the forums and Reddit, supply has become much more of a pain in the region, and because the ai's aggressiveness has been roided to say the least, most are in agreement that it's almost virtually impossible to play as Communist China... I was thinking if maybe you could disprove that claim? Seems like it'd be a fun new challenge. Keep up the great work!
I did manage to do that achievement with the old guide but you have to do some adjustments yourself while following the guide. The main thing i remember was putting a supply hub and using the 300% construction speed and managed to time it basically just when the Japanese attacked up in the north, then just let them grind themselves down on my supplied lines until i could push back and it was a cakewalk after.
@@niklasjo1292 agree. Use that once the top industry queue has 15 civs working on it to maximise the potential. I took down Shanxi, Xibei San Ma, and Sinkiang to ramp up my industry and army. From start of the game, i'm building a railway network from Yan'an to Shanxi border so that i can quickly connect to Taiyuan. Same with Xibei San Ma, to the border, continue to Lanzhou, then to the Sinkiang border, and a offshoot to Golmud. Focus-wise, Central Secretriat, then quickly down to Yan'an Base to wargoal against neighboring warlords, then Government of National Defense.
@@niklasjo1292 let China and Japan duke it out for a bit. Built a supply network in middle of Suiyuan state (Shanxi's northernmost state) with the help of that decision, then a railway network connecting it to Yan'an. That way, you can have your army defending against Japanese onslaught without worrying about supply. You can then push from your border to Mengkukuo and Manchukuo, occupying them for yourself.
43:40 Yes, you’re right, Mongolia DOES have more victory points now! Your resident Mongolia player has come to tell you they have added more states in Mongolia since NSB dropped.
Found myself stucked when papa Stalin don't want to lend me any convoy, and though Hirohito is willing to help, no convoy actually received for unknown reason, thus naval invasion never happened
Interesting play, I don't even have the guts to try this achievement. BTW, Sinkian is pronounced as shin - jiang using english phonetics. K has more of a J/G sound when used in Chinese pronunciation.
I did it, thanks to you but... germany just did not wanted to conquer Leningrad. It was a pain in the neck. Just conquer the far east and from there ALL the way to Ural and beyond. Sometimes the AI just want to troll you.
Can you do so some more NSB information videos. Your supply video was amazing! I would love to see a tank designer video done by you along with the attack trains and other unit additions. The tech tree changed so much with all the new modules etc, like fllamethrowers. Not to mention the landing barges etc. Perhaps a doctrine update too? You get the point... An updated shop designer would be cool too.
superior firepower: art + infantry + CAS = all the things you love mass assault: You're either a small country like yugoslavia or you want supply bonuses mobile warfarae: you're an industrial giant who loves tanks grand battleplan: polish player trying to get no more partitions
Grand Battleplan is perfect for games that require mostly just defense. E.g. the Netherlands vs. Germany or Finland vs. USSR types of games. The entrenchment bonuses are so good. It can also work for France who has to defend first and then attack using that extra planning bonus.
Moscow: How about I annex you for your protection, you are such a smol country how else can you survive? Tanna Tuva: How about I annex all of Siberia instead?
Trying to follow this guide, and I must have missed a step. How do you get convoys for the naval invasion? Cause I researched them, but then the Soviets don't want to give me any, and when I ask the Japanese for them, they accept, but then the convoys never arrive. Hovering over the lend-lease, it says "no legal transport path".
I had this problem too. Russia wouldn't give me convoys despite having transports researched and 4 naval invasions planned to create a deficit. You know who gave me convoys? Japan, despite me still being communist. They gave me 30. Good luck.
@MarquisDev @@bjjfan4873 @Bitt3rSteel I had the same problem on multiple runs, no convoys from the soviets at all even after making a deficit and Japan seemingly bugged as "no transport path" even after I established a land border with Xibei as a puppet. The solution turned out to be advice here that Italy really really loves to lend lease stuff and that includes convoys. I raised influence with them and they sent me tons of guns and convoys really early, so I think that's the solution there. Getting naval supremacy though, when the soviets won't launch an invasion, is now proving to be my challenge. I don't know how bitter always managers to get supremacy real quick while all my troops just end up having extended beach holidays
If i keep restarting untill we get a perfect outcome, it's not much of a guide is it? Because a guide that only works in perfect conditions is kinda shit
Great video. I had no idea how you were going to pull this off! Surprisingly few comments. I think if you converted your infantry to cavalry, you would have gotten Xibei right off the bat and been able to puppet them. I guess if you justified yourself, you wouldn't be at war with the Allies. Then you could help defeat Germany and then go after Japan. Because if you go after Japan, you'll end up fighting the Germans anyway. Unless maybe you can justify on one of their China puppets safely, but I don't think you can.
Does this still work? I just tried and the soviets did not give up their war score and actually took land. I did not have enough war score to do anything really. Edit: installed the NSB beta patch to do this, got xibei before they joined the united front, but then i had to justify on china and the soviets signed a non-aggression pact with them...
There's this little exploit with planes when you are really desperate for manpower. Where if you can deploy air Wings no matter if you have reserve manpower or not and when you disband them you get the manpower from it even tho you didn't put any into it.

Like that little crack at "axis access" ^^
I like that the Chief of Army is just called Konstantinov. No first name. It's like this guy forgot to fill in the form when they applied for the job and no one ever noticed lol
BitterSteel: "Historical events on, Trust me this will makes things much easier."
Historians: "Heheheh"
You can then push from your border to Mengkukuo and Manchukuo, occupying them for yourself.
finally, I was waiting fir this because i had no idea how to do this
Oh most powerful overlord Tannu Tuva, have mercy
In the grand scheme of things, you now have cores on a sparsely populated frozen hellscape.
3:59 "To smash down some chinese minors" is WILD
"Chief of the airforce"
"What airforce?"
"Chief of the navy"
"What navy?"
Based Tannu Tuva
I can´t even beat poland´s AI as germany and this guy can annex the entire ussr with tannu tuva.
5:04
Xibei San Ma is the new Belgium with how many days it takes to justify a war goal!
“Oh no! Liberia!” Is a phrase I’ve never heard before
GG on the tournament and always family first
43:40 Yes, you’re right, Mongolia DOES have more victory points now! Your resident Mongolia player has come to tell you they have added more states in Mongolia since NSB dropped.
Found myself stucked when papa Stalin don't want to lend me any convoy, and though Hirohito is willing to help, no convoy actually received for unknown reason, thus naval invasion never happened
same
Nice video keep up to good work
What a sexy Siberian flag! The black, green, and white look great and the insignia for added style! Mmm! So good!
Hahahahaha I live in Kyzyl , I am a Tuvan !!!!
... it doesnt work for me when i killed sinkiang the soviets took everything
Luxembourg: Finally a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary
I don't know why, but I'm dying from laughter on 2:48 to 3:33 "Big ol' portrait of Karl Marx is our entire military" xD.
Thanks for the guide!!!!!!
I don't know if it is because of some update, but Soviets never gave me anything in Land Lease, although they had +100 on me.
Interesting play, I don't even have the guts to try this achievement.
BTW, Sinkian is pronounced as shin - jiang using english phonetics. K has more of a J/G sound when used in Chinese pronunciation.
Any chance we can get an updated version of this guide that works with Trial of Allegiance?
Tanna Tuva. Tu va MOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNN
"Japan will be very angry with China for some reason. 🤷" is such a brilliant summary of the Sino-Japanese War.
Finally long waited!
thank you bro ive tried doing this like 5 times
I did it, thanks to you but... germany just did not wanted to conquer Leningrad. It was a pain in the neck. Just conquer the far east and from there ALL the way to Ural and beyond. Sometimes the AI just want to troll you.
Tannu tuva is goated
Can you do so some more NSB information videos. Your supply video was amazing! I would love to see a tank designer video done by you along with the attack trains and other unit additions. The tech tree changed so much with all the new modules etc, like fllamethrowers. Not to mention the landing barges etc. Perhaps a doctrine update too? You get the point...
An updated shop designer would be cool too.
Can you please do a tutorial for the current version of Hoi4
superior firepower: art + infantry + CAS = all the things you love
mass assault: You're either a small country like yugoslavia or you want supply bonuses
mobile warfarae: you're an industrial giant who loves tanks
grand battleplan: polish player trying to get no more partitions
Grand Battleplan is perfect for games that require mostly just defense. E.g. the Netherlands vs. Germany or Finland vs. USSR types of games. The entrenchment bonuses are so good.
It can also work for France who has to defend first and then attack using that extra planning bonus.
1:21 liver doesn't works for logistics? How odd system why Paradox?
I finally did it, took me fricking 5 tries but it has been done!
21:02 “Four German volunteers in the Gobi Desert” sounds like a joke setup.
The leader of Tannu Tuva sure is ambitious
Moscow: How about I annex you for your protection, you are such a smol country how else can you survive?
Tanna Tuva: How about I annex all of Siberia instead?
Well, at least Soviet supply lines aren't taking some kind of weird '2nd Pacific Squadron' route around the Cape of Africa.
Tannu Tuva: I think I will cause problems on purpose
Trying to follow this guide, and I must have missed a step. How do you get convoys for the naval invasion? Cause I researched them, but then the Soviets don't want to give me any, and when I ask the Japanese for them, they accept, but then the convoys never arrive. Hovering over the lend-lease, it says "no legal transport path".
Soviets gave me some. keep asking. sometimes its a bit fucky
@@Bitt3rSteel Thanks! Anything I can do to increase the odds?
Create a deficit, by planning a naval invasion
I don't know how bitter always managers to get supremacy real quick while all my troops just end up having extended beach holidays
now thx to you i have my 100% again :)
It seems like in most of your videos the worst case scenario happens alot, is it possible to see a run that went to plan?
So this is why the Soviets want to annex Tannu Tuva
paradox should release a Middle Child DLC where they give focuses to Belgium, Austria and Tanu Tuva
not sure this is possible with the new peace mechanics in by blood alone. Does anyone know any other strategies?
With the new peace deal update i really can't puppet these countries
The madlad did it, he finally lost his sanity
Does this still work? I just tried and the soviets did not give up their war score and actually took land. I did not have enough war score to do anything really.
Edit: installed the NSB beta patch to do this, got xibei before they joined the united front, but then i had to justify on china and the soviets signed a non-aggression pact with them...
Tannu to the moon? Yes...They went beyond the moon...
fuck yeah just came home from skiing perfect timing
Giving leand lease is better than training units
There's this little exploit with planes when you are really desperate for manpower. Where if you can deploy air Wings no matter if you have reserve manpower or not and when you disband them you get the manpower from it even tho you didn't put any into it.
