I seen 3 of your driver's today all 3 we're loaded with boats running together on I 70 headed towards Kansas City...I reached out to them on the CB and one of them actually responded, made my day for sure...I been waiting for 2 years to see your guys and trucks out here and it finally happens lol
One of the reasons I watch your videos is I’m a city slicker living in SoCal. It’s fascinating to see the difference in lifestyle between my world and yours. In my defense, I do have cows that live within 1 mile of my house. I am a proud Owner/ Operator as are you, we just haul different loads; it’s the diversity that I love about our industry. Enjoying the content.
When you get a chance watch the Stoney ridge farmer on U tube. He has a special way he takes care of his cattle. Think it would be worth it to watch it.
Hi Tim. This is the third or fourth time I have responded to one of videos. Some one keeps saying I’ve won a gift and to telegram them. They are using gentryisback. Just thought you would to know what’s going on.
glad to see you back on the road again, lol, you deserve to be happy , you've done so much for so many people and you have so much respect on the road, this is the way it should be all the time instead of fighting over stupid things, God Bless you'll , like i've always said you get back what you put out, may the lord always keep your ride smooth, your heart open and the good money rolling in
Don't click on the scam reward link. It's not from Tim or anyone that's involved with him. I reported it and it looks like it was taken down temporarily.
Bruce Wilson just picked up a 1984 k100 that has your name all over it. Really could be sweet. He dont want it and has a bag cat in it. Call him before he wrecks it.👍👍👍
Thanks for the ride-a-long. I miss driving but it's not in the cards any longer. These trips help ease the pain of not being in the truck. Peace, Driver!
There supper picky and pick out the spots they like ! Dad will put corn syrup on the bails when there being picky and helps them eat it ! Corn is like a treat for them
I can't lie Tim I seen a truck just like yours today that was beautiful that had the same blue with a big wide white stripe that ran across the door line with tall strait pipes and looked beautiful! Just to give you an idea of paint those trucks can look awesome
Tim you're absolutely right pulling a rack is a whole different life of trucking I really loved it and miss it I love the livestock safe travels bud.🤙🇺🇸👍🇺🇸🤙
I deliver wheat straw bales to sweetwater valley farm. That’s what they feed the dairy cows. If you want a load or two let me know. I’m roughly 4 hours from sweetwater. Also may have two deleted 2014 Pete 389 with less than 400k for sale coming up.
You'll probably never see this, but... I wish I could be like you, seems like you make a lot of good decisions, work hard, and get ahead. I know we don't see everything but still. I don't seem to be able to do the same.
Hey Tim you could always throw a rap on the fenders to see how they look blk. With out having to paint them. And wraps last quite a while and are pretty cheap. Then after a while if you like the blk on it you could spray it, wrap it again or go back to all one color
(26:35)Cb is nice but... Zello is with a Sonim XP8 is awesome usually for coms especially when you get separated from each other.. For a Propper antenna on CB I recommend not to use a dual antenna setup ever end of story.. Here is why you must match the co phases with the feed line in a dual antenna setup sure once you use a spectrum Analyzer and Tracking Generator with Dummy loads to match the cable harness and stuff for proper radiating antenna.. Once the Cable has been matched correctly you must then independently match the antennas once they have both been matched using a single feed line first you can then put them together and adjust as needed. Also Mirror mounting CB Antennas suck... The best mount is either at the top of the vehicle in the center of the cab or Mounting at the back of the cab as high up as you can get it as possible.. See your antenna Radiates from the base of the antenna so when you transmit with the mic the base of the antenna is where the most power is radiated. Heck some truck drivers use Rubber Ducky antennas because the size of the antenna that is really needed for quality is like really long and bangs on everything when driving down the road. Anyway single antenna is usually the best and legal power always which for CB is 4 Watts.. RG8x is usually good enough for most installations but if you really want some low loss cabling LMR400 or RFC400 is nice but not a requirement for most installations the only benefit you get is extremely low loss at those frequencies. For Truckers I highly recommend either a Rubber Ducky High mount antenna or a Fiberglass Antenna in high mount position for optimal performance. Test tools I do recommend at minim a SWR tester and Antenna Analyzer of some sort.. Yes the ones on Amazon for like 120 dollars or so usually work fine for what your doing you don't need anything fancy fancy.. Example: At (17:01) Paused at the top of the Mirror where it connects up to the cab would be the optimal location to mount a CB Antenna I always suggest Passenger side anyway but some prefer Driver Side. Using the Mirror Mount and a Fiberglass single line RG8X you can then connect up your radio and swr meter make sure everything matches and you don't have a miss match you should notice a huge performance boost in coms. It's hilarious to me how many truck drivers I have explained that to and they are like but it looks funny that way we like to mount at the bottom of the bracket but once they figure out how radio waves work and that at the Base of the antenna is where the most power is radiated once the mic is pressed they learn really quickly! Me personally I run a 2m/70cm antenna for Amateur Radio and use NMO mount in the dead center of my mini van lol.. My boyfriend Hated putting that in because we had to drop the headliner.. Anyway I get exceptional performance off of it as well great ground plane using the roof of the van as well.. I use a Yasue Ft 7900 in the van absolutely love that radio but since the doctor took away my drivers license with these Functional Neurological Attacks I have been having I am done I can't drive anymore lol.. Just gotta stick to other projects.. Heck I have two repeaters and a tower at my BF parents house and I can't even hardly work on that stuff anymore these days Neurological crap sucks.. Anyway.. Anyway awesome videos as always I know I got off on a tangent but I love playing with Radios lol KC9ZHV here..
For Example Channel 20 on the CB is roughly the Center of the band at 27.205 Mhz using a 1/4 Wave antenna the Antenna would be like Vertical 8.6ft or 8 ft 7 3/16 in and Ground Radials should be like 8.6ft or 8ft 7-3/16 in.. This is why they have a center load in most of these antennas like the Wilson antennas etc.. They have to make up that distance in order for the antenna to Radiate Correctly or to match correctly for the frequency being used. 1/4 wave is 234 devided by the frequency and 1/2 wave is 420 divided by the frequency 5/8 wave is generally 585 divided by the frequency and 3/4 wave is 702 divided by the frequency. Most generally I use an online calculator to find the information when making my home or base antennas but I don't have to make coils for them because they are base antennas. Coils in my opinion are tough because mine never seem to work out very well unless I glue them in place then heat shrink them.. anyway.. Sorry for getting off on the nerd side of CB radios lol
Just to say that your doing a great job and I am glad there are still some great understanding bosses out there and that's off to your personnel and father and lil brax oh lovely family take care be blessed if you need a driver in Alabama call me blessings on you all
Hey Tim, my uncle goes to jack Daniel’s and gets a tanker load of the used mash and mixes it with the hay. You will pay more for fuel to get it but the cows love it. Especially during winter time because it’s still hot in the tanker. Just some food for thought if you want to help them eat the hay.
Well done Tim just take each day as it comes brother … Just remember we’re human beings it’s our responsibility to look after it our bodies stay safe bud cheers 👍👍❤️🦘🇦🇺
Fenders...Black Crystal Sapphire Pearl Acrylic Urethane Single Stage. Black Crystal will look black at night, or in heavy shade, but when sunlight hits the finish, the crystal pearl will pop with a dramatic blue pearlescent effect.
You gotta get you a radiator cover to be able to keep your water temp up. To keep you warm. Make sure your fleet has those. It's gonna be a hard winter. I dont know about the new trucks, but them older ones (cat B motor) i had too.
If that's all that needs to been done cosmetic wise then yea paint the fenders black. That black would set that truck off. If you don't paint it then wrap it in some good quality vinyl wrap.
If your having trouble feeding your round bales take a pitch fork and really fluff that hay up and make it really loose they will sort through and eat what they want. Use what’s left for bedding that way there is no waste and save some money on straw if your gonna put them in a shed or barn this winter.
THATS A GREAT IDEA BRINGING THE DOG THEY ARE GREAT FOR ANXIETY I GOT IT BAD AND I GOT A COUPLE ANIMAL ITS INSANE IT HELP SO MUCH LOVE THE U TUBE CHANNEL NEVER MISSED A SHOW EVER
Gonna be running a cb on this trip. WTF you don't have radios in your trucks already? It is a must now days cause the real drivers pay attention to the road and radio they can save your life. I got forewarned about an accident 3 miles ahead of me. I got my truck wired for 2 external speakers so if I'm listening to the fm radio I can hear the cb. Besides you can get to know a lot of people how I met my gf. Get it tuned so you can reach out and talk to some one. My truck has a General Lee that does 150 watts.
Just a reminder when you are using a jump box or your car battery you always put the positive cable on first and then the negative cable on. Then you always take the negative cable off before the positive cable after you jumped the vehicle off
I'm glad you made it there and back home safely Tim and everything worked out for you okay yeah I think black on the fenders would look good you definitely need to put a new transmission in that man cuz I tell you I hate like you said I hate for you to have to get somewhere and have to go pull it back home as always man I love your videos and definitely love the contents of it may God keep blessing you my brother
I love my Texas pride trailer. I have a 20ft 16k lowboy bumper pull it pull great and holds up to abuse even better. I do plan on buying me a 30-40ft gooseneck this next year. Probably go with a 30k lbs rating just because I can.
It was good for you to be able to do the run with some buddies to make the trip more enjoyable and help keep the anxiety at bay. Black fenders would look nice at least till you paint the whole truck
@ Gentry and Sons Trucking Whoo, it's a work truck not no pavement princess...a you're crying about scratching the bumper. Lol jp The hay, looks more like straw which is edible but probably needs some flavor and nutrients added. Maybe reach out to Jax from wild wild west UA-cam channel, he could probably give you some tips on feeding the cattle
We feed a co-op 14% protein pelleted feed with rumensin to our calves. On average they gain between 2.5 and 3 lbs per day. We also offer loose mineral to them and the momma cows year round. We like the purina wind and rain mineral and have had good success with it. We are a 6th generation cattle farm located in Maryville so feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to talk cattle. I've also got a youtube channel so feel free to check it out also Tim. Awesome video as always.
I love the videos Tim, I put you on while I drive with the wheel in american truck sim so I have something/someone while I'm drivin. Hope to one day drive a real rig but right now that's just not an option🤘🤙

Yea 6.9 is damn good with a cow trailer, it’s about as aerodynamic as my doubles loaded with hay.

You could give your drivers a is of shirts to give away to folks who recognise the trucks of to receiving customers could be good exposure ....💚👍
You need to get that Pete fixed to pull that bull rack with
I think the FLD would look good with black fenders.
Great video Tim nice to see your still feeling fine sorry the weather is a bit cold it's freezing in the uk England.

Mind Tim take your time with the cranes .Great vid takes your mind of the crap going on in the world 👍.
