Thank god you're ok and how your handling the situation says a lot about a person 👍👍
How do I do so?
Have a safe trip back
Beautiful truck
The Sisters are terrible during the winter. WYDOT closed the gates behind me after I drove through. I never want to drive that during storms. Glad y'all made it safe.
YOUR RIGHT i am in the warm house. walked out at 5am helping the neighbor on his farm came home hauled hay at 25 degrees on a no cab tractor then moved cattle then cut fire wood then ground feed for the cows then back at the neighbors at 5pm back in the house at 9pm. what a day. wonder some days why we work so hard for so little pay to feed people who dont care. keep trucking i just found your channel and miss my days of driving seeing the country
Glad to see you and Travis running together and to see him doing good much love to y’all my brothers
Stay safe stay trucking
I completely understand you buying older trucks and fixing them up. Every time I’ve tried to buy new equipment. I have way more problems with it. Also they don’t have parts to fix the new equipment.
I love the videos. You remind me of all the boys I grew up with. Willing to help a stranger as quickly as a friend. You keep being you and your life will continue to be blessed.
Way to go Travis, the produce game isn’t exactly easy but it is most definitely worth the effort and with a guy like Tim on your side, there’s no way you can fail.
Hey Tim! Good thing you didn’t get by the house with that beast. I’m sure Brax would’ve loved to see that thing rip thru the pond!
that rig would/ve made it across if the bottom was solid enuf... the engine on that was taller than the depth of the pond!
Tim if us truck drivers don't have same bad luck we would not good luck. I know because lm a truck driver two. Have a good trip back home. I'm going to take some time off and go see my boy little girl for my birthday.
We definitely need to get drivers like that off the road it's a privilege to drive on these roads in a big truck not a right
I’ve always loved traveling at night and seeing all the trucks lite up! The more lights the cooler they glow! I had an 03 dodge about 10-15 years ago and had 47 running lights on it, and was starting on lighting up my gooseneck when hard times hit, and I had to get out from under the payments. It seems that you like the night driving with what little I have been able to watch.
Every trucker likes night driving. less 4 wheels on the road driving like assholes.
@@kick_then_shift I’m not a truck driver, but I sure do agree with you. I can’t go pick my kids up from school without getting aggravated at home some of the people drive. I sure couldn’t be a trucker driving every day. It takes a special person to be a trucker.
Good to see you got the load to its location, Travis- Wish you much success on your next adventure !!
EVERYTIME you mashed that throttle I could SMELL WHAT THE ROOSTER 🐓 WAS DOING. !!!!! 😍🤣😂😂😂
i watch your show all the time.
It looks like it would be fun to haul with you. I love how you take pride in your trucks. That's awesome. Take care, be safe, and have fun regardless.
Such a realist Tim, to show the mistakes and the reality of trucking. That it's not always straight forward. An excellent insight into a heavy haul. Keep up the excellent work Tim. Safe travels and we will see you on the next installment of G&S Trucking. Regards from the UK
If you watch enough videos you will catch him lying alot. In another video he claims the chain broke because of how he chained it down & the chains were rubbing but in this one he claims a truck ran him off the road 🤔🤔🤔. So which one is the truth?
That 850hp peterbilt my ass it wouldn't burn$3000 worth of fuel if he actually wasn't a ramrod. I guarantee the chains were his fault and went back an opened the door to go with his story, he's such a bullshitter or just likes lieing to make him look special.
Oxford Mississippi keep on doing what your do be safe 🙏 🙏
Hey Tim it's Jon whiskey Bent and the Rooster both look good side by side but I like the Rooster she is a beautiful truck
Bungees are good for chain slack to keep them from falling into holes on your trailer
First comment ! you keep up the good work man love the videos I’m a new driver for my dads company you motivated me to really dig in thank you for everything you do man love the videos been watching a while hope to see you on the road!!!
Oh no people beat me to it lol
I have had to change one of those before! Always had a spare one in the side compartment!
Both of you are good and awesome.
When I had drivers that wanted to go try something else, I supported em 💯. That's the way a good company owner does it
So sorry that happened to you. Good thing is, what goes around comes around, you can count on that person getting his.
Welcome to big horse guzzling. Oh by the way most blue boots are intake or after air cooler. Orange for hot side. Got your new air to air ordered? Standard just don't seem to take the boost. If you not going to put ramps on the truck, try couple of hard wood 4x4 . Have fun
Ha! Pretty darn cool! Thanks for sharing!!!
As tired as you were driving all night, damn fine job dealing with the troubles getting that truck unloaded. I’d have lost my cool several times before it was said and done. Being tired can make most things worse. You just seem to take it all in stride. 🤘
Love your stuff. Hope I live long enough to see the Air Force truck finished 😂🤣. Great videos.
Goodluck with that!!
There are a few other You Tube Truckers :HEAVY HAUL TV, there seem to be the same challenges.
Best of Luck in your New Venture
You have some really nice trucks me and my boyfriend loves whiskey bent and the Wal-Mart cab over
That's cool you got to deliver a load for heavy D!! Love the peterbilt it's a good looking truck.
Such a cool lookin rig! Love the truck as always man!! Needs a little something else I think. Lol keep up the amazing work and awesome videos!! I love watching this channel all the time. Tim you rock!
Add some expanded metal over those tire openings and protect those tires from chains etc...
Don’t fret over Tim We have all been there trust me
I definitely would report the very courteous Maverick driver to his higher ups, maybe they can teach him some common courtesy
So would I. Back when I drove flatbed we used to always rip on the maverick guys for having automatics. I'm sure there's a lot more autos on the road theses days but back then they were one of the only companies running a full automatic fleet.
@@WarmBusch yeah I used to holler on my CB" float those gears driver" hahaha that would piss them off.
@@WarmBusch automatics are great for city driving. About 15 years ago the automatics we're horrible but now they are really good
O]p
As slow as those pos maverick junk trucks are, I'd of ran him down and got him stopped, taught him what having manners is, add that to the video... Maverick is a joke of an outfit... been at this 43 yrs, and guys like that have no business being out there...
I would love to see the freedom bus go to the freedom factory
Leave the wail tail n get the side mount for the fairings for the lights.
Brother and law had a trailer light that. Always worrying me to get unstuck. I loaded some stumps on it 😎. Broke all the boards on it. Replace the boards. Sold that damn thing
Tim you are a amazing man !!! I’m sorry that you had all of those bumps. But you kept your head up and made it on time. Much respect.. How’s Braxton?
Back whenever I started driving over the road, the majority of us truckers would all look out for one another, but that sure has changed in the past couple of years.
They aunt no brother hood out here any more driver
Yep to much entitlement these days. Hell I don’t even like running a cb much anymore and when we do run them we don’t run 19 ever. I normally have a escort run 2 radios and have them tell me if they hear anything about traffic problems ahead. Most times all you hear is pull of this exit blah blah blah and you roll up where they said they where gonna fight and ain’t a truck person it sight lol bunch idiot super truckers with very little knowledge on the roads and cbs these days.
I haul rock. We run our own channel. But we always look out for each other. Except for the Hispanics that run. They could care less. They look out for their own.
Breaker 19... No one home
Gosh sakes that red truck is a fiercely good look'r
Nice, looking like a good time. East bound and Down..
Tim your attitude is inspiring man, you stay upbeat an positive even when strings ain’t going right, love the content, thanks for workin hard, stay safe.
Tim try to unload on level solid surface is a lot better for manual detach in my experience
I enjoyed watching this one. Keep up the good work guys
My Hood. Live 20 miles from diesel sellerz. Spent 3 yrs in rock springs doing telecom. Drove from cheyenne to evanston hundreds of times. Elk mountain is rough. So are the sisters. Saw 46 below zero on the temp gauge at the bank in rock springs. Had to jump start our back up generator in that cold. Dont touch metal with bare skin in that cold. You will stick to it.
Tim I really enjoy & appreciate watching you channel. These people need to understand that you support Travis what ever endeavors he goes after. Safe travels to both of yall
You should have done what you had to do and not gave mav the jolly of even having a conversation with you as far as him running you off the road you should have just stopped. He would run his dick sucker but his 3 watt radio would be out of range in a mipe
Stay safe good buddy 🙏 the truck sounds AWESOME 👌 👏!!! Also give a thumbs up to thoughts CANADIAN TRUCKERS, FREEDOM EVERYONE 😀 👍 😉 😄
@@billyrexmcgregorjr5943 I agree, but without the ugly language
Tim Callin Heavy D- "I need you to come recover my trailer bro"
Heavy D- Where you at?
Tim- "In your parking lot.."
Diesel Dave- "Heavy Laughter" 🤣😂🤣
You did the rite thing putting new tires that heavy weight eats rubber
cool to see you trucking mate
I'd go with a headache rack and a light bar. It would elimate all that extra wiring being in the cab and on the mirror brackets and arms. I believe it would give rooster a better, cleaner look on the back of the truck.
I agree a bright light bar or two strobes on top of a nice headache rack.
Agreed, plus he can hang all his chains/binders on the the rack as well.
Hey Tim !! Know they are expensive ,but go for a cabinet headache rack as then ALL the chains ,binders ,straps, traps & ALL the fluids needed for the "PETE" will be under cover & lock & key !!! Hope the rest of the run went WELL !!
Definetely. When I drove flatbed for Boyd years ago that was one nice things they had on all the company rigs. I could even fit the giant lumber tarps in there as well so I didn't have to constantly move them around when swapping trailers.
They don’t cost that much, I just purchased one market place for $800 and it has the cabinets plus they are in excellent condition.
That’s a beast of a fire truck holy shnikey
that was one of your best blogs
Your tractor isn’t set up for a double drop. It needs skid plate that attach to the top of the frame. That type of trailer is called a Double drop because of the multiple decks.
Check out FSC. He will show you what it is all about
@@randyhathawy7514 I know the life I’ve pulled one for 24 years
Never heard someone say they truck isn’t setup for a double drop 😂 idk why he unhooked from the trailer too disconnect the neck though. And you don’t need a skid plate at all
@@triplehfarmsllc7348 the way a Double drop works is you gotta disconnect and pull forward. The neck will drop. You removed the ride height adjustment. Back back under pull deck lock. Block neck. Inch forward and air up suspension pull away.
@@scottvaughan473 I’ve got 2 of these same exact trailers and have never unhook too disconnect the neck. Unless this trailer is much much older. But all mine you can disconnect most you gotta do is block up under the neck at the frame of the trailer. But if his trailer is setup like you said why wouldn’t you block up the trailer before dropping? But you could be right idk the year. But I’ve never had too disconnect too do what you’re saying ever. Even the oldest one I’ve ever used you block up under the deck and lower your airbags on the truck and adjust the right height or too get it setup to unhook raise it back up and then remove the block then unhook. But I’ve never had to disconnect that way ever Or seen it done that way
I used to say that I would NEVER drive a truck for anyone but myself, but Tim has made me change my mind. I'd drive for that dude.
doesnt he pay liek 30-40 cents a mile 🤣👍
Get yourself some beacons that mount in the grill. Then put some nice ones on top the headache rack when u get one.
Great video
I drive an 8 axle 105,500 GVWR side dump, 5/6 days a week in the shit hole known as Seattle Wa! I deal with these morons you speak of on a daily basis. I feel you man…… these idiots in four wheelers have no understanding of what it is like to drive big rigs. The couple people out there that do are extremely easy to recognize, and to those people…… 🙏🏻 thank you!
Love the Chan brother!
How about morons driving big rigs, it used to be you had to know how to drive, now these people just aim their rigs down the road.
I love these trucking videos, I got bored a long time ago with the basic truck driver UA-camrs but I could watch you trucking all day
Glad u got that tach light fixed lol
Your videos are good
Idk if you have them, but there's no excuse to not have cameras in every truck you own. That way you get the tag of jerkoffs like that and claim on their insurance. It'll save your business someday.
Amenbrther
16:10….lol look at the boost gauge lmao and shows like 23 gauges 😂😂😂😂
well if you cant tell a boost gauge from simple metering gauges and a fuel level, it must not be all that important to you anyway, I saw the boost gauge just fine , it was the one that moved up when he hit that gas durp durp , it goes from 0 to 60 durp durp, like every other boost gauge durp durp, it would be near impossible to zoom in on just it durp durp, the video assumes you have a basic level of understanding durp durp, which is why breakfast cereal boxes dont come with instructions on how to get the cereal from the box to your bowl , it assumed you know that already durp durp, it assumes you have a basic understanding of gravity durp durp, in much the same way Gentry assumes you have a basic understanding of gauges durp durp ,.. .. dont ever get a job driving because you will go broke having to pay somebody to ride along and point to all the gauges for you
That tunes got ole girl sounding good 👍
Try some raycrore for cold start and run
Travis is a lucky guy to have a friend like you
The chain damaging that tire was completely avoidable is the slack/tag end of the chain was secured with either zip-ties or safety wire. Personally I like to use safety wire to secure chain and zip-ties to secure straps. From hauling all sorts of different equipment that always seems like a door or access panel would pop open going down the road I found that a 6 inch wide roll of “stretch wrap” is far handier than a roll of Duct Tape or anything else for securing them shut with minimal chances of damaging the paint, panels or doors.
As far as the strobe lights myself I don’t like a permanent mounted strobe on the roof of the truck/sleeper. Especially if it means removing that aero deflector on the roof of the sleeper because even if I don’t think they look the greatest sometimes there is no denying they do work. That said it is not hard to either mount a telescoping mast that can be attached to the headache rack or add a clamp and a bracket to your mirror frames when you need them. Additionally the problems Tim was continuing to have with his headlights should of been taken care of prior to starting the trip. The old man who broke me in on long haul trucking beat it into my head that before you start a trip you fix what needs to be fixed and brakes, engine, tires, lights, suspension were the top of the list. To say the least he was a firm believer of the 5P’s (Prior, Planning, Prevents, Piss-Poor, Performance) But like the popular sayings goes “You’ll have this now and then on these big jobs or like my daddy used to say Sh*t Happens but it just seems to happens to some people more often than others.” Things that make you go Hmmm. Finally I had to sniggle when Tim was moaning the amount of fuel he had used but yet it was him that had his engine “turned up to 850” 😂🤣😅
No need to beat a dead dog. We all had too learn and Criticism doesn’t teach anyone anything. Because atleast he is Honest and shows it because he could just hide it and not show it on video
Too busy buying chrome and toys to worry about that stuff......
I see your buddy is coming back to UA-cam
Good job I help all broke down people
You can’t blame a man for trying to better himself!! Hope things go well for Travis
Tim that drivers side spot mirror been messed up for over a year now. Glad to see something in its place. That 750 horse is expensive to feed nowadays...take back to 560, gets the job done cheaper..
Tim little tip I keep my slack chain tied up with carabiniers to hold it up never have to deal with that again
you and hd look like brothers just like vice grip and junkyard digs
I would report that to the losers company 👍
Leave the heavy hauling to the professionals with the right equipment.
Pretty scary having guys just winging it with the heavey haul. Us guys that know about double drop rgn’s us that you always make sure your in hard level ground before you detract. Especially with a manual type trailer and get some ramps built up on the frame of that Pete
headache rack with lightbar looks cleaner than those on mirrors
Regarding your trailer airbags if you hook a chain underneath of them when you go over ditches or embankments things of that nature your axle will only go down so far because of the chain and underneath your frame rail weld a 1 inch plate you won't damage your shocks bags etc. It will only be able to travel as far as your chain.
Go Travis I for one like to see people move up
The best headache you could purchase is a Brunners, out of Joplin, MO.
To keep the boots together and to protect them running those pressures something cheap and simple we run soup cans around then.
Zip Ties and a set of side snips my man, big ole heavy duty Zip Ties. Tie off those loose chain ends so they don't go places you don't want them. Trick I learned in the Air Force hauling heavy equipment.
You can have some of this 110° + heat if you like, I’m over it
😂😂😂 the auto closed captioning at the beginning “whats up guys, welcome back to the ginger enzymes youtube channel” love it
Rural king... nice I worked T their distribution center 1st one originally built.. mattoon il
My dad and step grandpa team hauled produce back in the late 70's with a 74' Diamond Rio. They would be gone for up to 2 weeks at a time. Then my dad sold his reefer and bought the truck from my grandpa. (Granpa went into construction) My dad went to work as an owner operator for Central Transport and drove through all the Teamster strikes and seen a lot of crazy stuff happen on the road.
I hope this is the new Cerro Gordo fire truck!
I am actually eating popcorn while watching this.
Good battery's
God video til familien ❤❤
I love that truck!!
One thing a driver should always have on board it a bundle of bungee cords to keep the chain slack tight away from causing problems and doors closed or even hanging the air lines and pig tails.
Sherman pass Wyoming!! lol been there done that i live in Nebraska! love your vids!
Big Ol Cat's are thirsty! Turned up cats even more thirsty! Had a 600 horse cat in my old shaker overnight idle would almost suck a third of a quarter of fuel! safe travel!!
Man, I knew that was your 379 when i drove past the shop that day. I live maybe 8 minutes from it, I drive past it everyday.
I was literally finishing off a tomahawk when you said that.
Yep those fire trucks sit in a heated garage. Probably the coldest start in its life.
I would do a light bar and the lights on the mirrors
