they most likely sourced these from somewhere rather than making them from scratch. i’ve watched and read a ton of BTS materials and their props dept is absolutely insane and can find just about anything, anywhere, anytime. i’m pretty sure there are clips about this on youtube if you just search snl props department.

Checked mustard trousers with a narrow vermillion seam or thread running down the side might work if paired with bronze suede shoes too. Come on NBC take a go at that outfit, please!!!

I had to go back and check, his last name is Tangier, and the major's is Goodway. Either it's a really sloppy punchline, which is why it seems to come out of nowhere, or I'm missing some context somewhere.

I've had this conversation with friends who have kids so many times! Why are there no actual first responders? Why is a child in charge of all of these vital services? Does he have parents? What happens if there are two bad things happening at once? Why is the mayor fine with this, and why is the town fine with the mayor? The Paw Patrol town raises way too many questions.

Foggy Bottom seems to be a very safe place, as oppose to Adventure Bay, where if it's not an antagonist causing problems, it's the numbskull citizens causing their own problems. PAW Patrol is basically keeping them ALIVE at this point.
As someone who has siblings who used to watch Paw Patrol, I didn’t even realize that this was such a serious problem. Now I’m questioning myself on how I didn’t notice this.
I'm kind of would say the same that you're not the only one but I did take hints especially questioning "HOW DAFUQ DID THIS WOMAN GET ELECTED?!? If you seen any episode involving Mayor Goodway you would see her freaking out over every little issue making me wonder "What would happen when a serious event happens and only 6 dogs and a child are available?"

I have to admit, I laughed so hard at this. My son LOVES Paw Patrol and after having to sit through so many episodes of it, this sketch really hit home.

I love how the city of Adventure Bay relies completely on a pre teen boy and his pack pups to save the city. I've never seen a group of more uncapable adults than I have with this torture device of a show my kids just have to watch. I loved this skit.

Yeah, because cats are better than dogs (in my opinion anyway), and the creators of the show decided to make the pups’ evil counterparts CATS who can’t even talk! Seriously, why couldn’t the pups’ evil counterparts just be dogs like them except evil/psycho?

I always had cats and i prefer them but to say they are better Is a stretch. Dogs live to please their masters and god forbid you get attacked, even a little dog will try to defend you most likely.
Dogs are too needy and they smell.
Cats are smarter - they learn how to open door knobs and stuff like that plus they keep critters like mice away, unless you are overridden with them. Years ago when my cats died of old age, all of a sudden I had mice. When my ‘baby’ was in his last year at 18 , he sort of brought me a dying mouse as a present on some papers next to me on the couch and i freaked the hell out.😂😂

I am so thankful that this is finally being addressed - as a concerned grandmother who just found about her grandson’s obsession with this poor substitute for law and order - it is high time we face reality and vote Mayor Goodway out of office!
There’s always naysayers saying that this city has gone to the dogs. Your grandchildren are now well versed in paw and order and it’s all thanks to our canine constabulary and Fido firefighters. When I bark 911 I know I’m getting proper care and feel safe. Maybe it helps that I work in a sausage, bone and squeaky toy factory but I doubt it. Some people just hate progress.

in the show, the paw patrol actually solves problems that are "emergencies" that are not worthy of actual trained professionals like rescuing turtles, whales, lost cats/chickens, ect. but dogs still aren't good emergency services.

At a party, someone brought up Paw Patrol and a friend asked "what is that??" Another friend immediately replied, "Oh it's this unfortunate children's cartoon about a bunch of young dogs that get wrapped up in the police state." She instantly became my favorite person there.
I'm surprised she didn't talk about the many shows, video games, cartoons and movies that use military propaganda to brainwash the young into killing each other or maybe it's just me ( ͡° ʖ̯ ͡°)

Well, some of the current SNL cast are parents (shocking as it seems) and the pandemic lockdown from two years ago did force them to spend time with their families.
My daughter loves Paw Patrol and this skit got me laughing because I thought the exact same thing 😂😂
Also- they will use the same amount of resources to avoid an alien invasion as they will finding a lost bird.
I could not stop laughing out loud at this skit. And the off tone voice used by Oscar is just the cherry on top.
This is amazing, this is exactly the conversation that my husband and I have about Paw Patrol when our kids are watching it!

My 8 year was obsessed with this show a few years ago. My husband and I have had so many conversations about this.
This is quality. Oscar Isaac seems like he was fantastic and loved being there. The kid hanging up on the bro with his overdosing girlfriend killed me.
At first I was like wow I am glad finally someone is tackling this hard issue, but then at the end when it said paid for by cats...I wasn't too sure. Seemed biased.
