He “hehe” wasn’t him breaking. It was clearly in character. His character clearly went through a soft trauma and some people joke about their misfortune, to be able to better cope with it. That “hehe” was it.

Oscar Isaac is an amazing actor but he always plays a character that is serious or intense. Who knew he was a natural comedian! This is one of the few times I've laughed so hard on SNL! Every one of his sketches had me in stitches. That Spanish accent is perfection! I felt like I was listening to a family member telling me a story, lol.
"oh my God". "No, trust me, there is no God." Oscar killed his bit in this sketch and I'm pretty sure his character was based off the cheap idiots my landlord pays cash to to fix complex problems in the building. They are why we don't use the elevator anymore.

This reminds me of the time my dad installed the ceiling fans in our house. While the first one had a lot of trial and error, he eventually got the hang of it and proceeded to do the remaining five. So when we got to my room, I didn't have any concerns...until he electrocuted himself and fell off the ladder. We laugh on it now, but I was equal parts terrified and in awe of the spectacle. It was something out of a tv show.
First off installing a ceiling fan isn't that difficult, the hardest part is probably putting the damn blades on after it's been installed, your blacks go to your blacks and whites go to your whites and then you grounded, and you can't get electrocuted on 110 volts all it's going to do is give you a really bad tickle in the arm, I've been hit by a 220 and a wild leg before those hurt, but 110 all it does is tickle me
Kenan is the best....and I am 59 years old, having seen all of it from the beginning. Kenan, Akroyd, and Hartman, in that order. Because of his longevity, SNL IS Kenan in many ways. NEVER LEAVE KENAN!!!!!
Judging by the UA-cam comments I've been reading, Saturday Night Live doesn't do sketches anymore. Everything's either a documentary or a warning or a reenactment of some horrible real-life event that feels more at home in a movie.
yeah, there are far too many people who think they can do anything, just because they saw it on TV or watched a video on YT. of course most try to do it themselves because it's cheaper (and a sense of superiority) but the funny thing is, once they mess up and need to call in the professionals after all, it's usually more expensive to fix than if they had just called them in in the first place.

Cut to I laugh SO hard, through a sheet of dry wall (this sketch), that my laughter physically detaches from my body and travels at a slower speed, so after I hit the steel support column (am doubled over and incapacitated with laughter), I am hit in the face, by my own laughter! FANTASTIC! (BTW, I love how Kenan can't help himself. He mouths along with the best line in the bit.) Whew!
The delivery of lines by both the guests were great! Really elevated some already good lines. That last “thanks for allowing me” from the pool guy was unexpected and risky and great. And Kennan plays the perfect kinda straight man.
