With the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania just around the corner, I have been thinking about why I love Ant-Man/Scott Lang. So I thought I would make a video about why I think Ant-Man was such a great addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I agree with what you’re saying here. The power creep is very noticeable, and the shift from Scott being the “grounded, real guy who can shrink” to “quantum realm expert” is symptomatic of that. I really enjoyed the more grounded tone of the first Ant-Man film and feel like the MCU is in dire need of more stories like it.
