This video helped me a lot too , the barrel roll into him puts you right behind his back , also : I used the maxed flamberge with the explosion at the end , it deals a massive amount of damage , just beat him about ten mins ago

about how i feel at this point- plus trapped here - cannot upgrade or buy items - really screwed you here
Im here now and almost uninstalled on the last mini boss. This is not soul's game frustrating of getting good. This is just luck because the enemies frequently adjust to what you're doing

another tip i recommend for people, when he shits out the enemies use the flame thrower arm you not only roast it quick but you usually get free damage done to the boss at the same time

The big problem with this boss is that he has 2 different attacks that look identical when they’re telegraphed. The back hand swing and his devastating grab attack
Agreed, but you can kind of guess which one will itbe depending on how much HP he has.
The devastating attack, just roll into him always.

Try to use a light weapon so you can get more hits even if it weaker its gonna help you with the way he is using

He actually does sometimes! It’s happened multiple times while I fought him. He knocked them down, but I don’t think any damage is taken

your strats + fire legion arm + legion grindstone + fire throwables and a lot of patience is what I did here omg I freaking hate the grab it just comes out of nowhere sometimes
thanks for the tips, finally managed to get him after getting frustrated.
the grab attack was making me so paranoid, i made sure my hp was constantly over 60% (thankfully i had upgraded heals to 8 or 9)
instead of using the flame arm (can’t make it work for me), i use the falcon eye with couple upgrades (extra shot + shoot while dodging), it helps to take out the small guys if you’re out of throwables + extra dmg on the boss from afar.
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Thank you so so much for the tips on it’s smash and crawl attacks, honestly didn’t even think to count how many hits it does before being left open. Watched your guide and eliminated the boss straight afterwards, but I used the Salamander Dagger Blade +9 for the added fire damage.
Once I found out he was weak to fire, this fight became extremely easy. For some reason, fighting the illusion mini boss before him made me think he was weak to poison lol.

My weapom durability is going down so fast... I always parried his attacks pretty well..and then I'm always dying trying to get the durability up again. I tried this ass boss 30 times already...I'm so fucking done with this game..
Yeah i got stuck on this boss for like 15 trys i ended up farming those 2 enemies near the star gazer for thermites and other throwables and can just turn your console off if your about to die so you keep all the throwables

Those 2 enemies drop, 4 diff throwables but even with 4hrs farming them u ain't getting anywhere enough

Thanks for the video! Here's how it worked for me: started out by adding fire damage to my weapon with the grindstone. First attack was using the full fable gauge. Then I basically made sure to stay as close as possible to the boss. Kept pushing hard left on the stick and holding the legion arm fire attack until it ran out. Then continued sticking close and using regular attacks whenever it was safe. Still, a real bad fight that simply wasn't fun.

@patriciagousset2884 Try Bloodborne instead. It's easier than lies of p. Still challenging, but you don't deal with the shortcomings of infant developers and their screw ups. Even if you're bad at Bloodborne all you have to do is make it to the Blood Starved Beast which is like the 3rd or 4th boss. It's a hard fight but you can use a summon. Once you beat him you are given a chalice that can help you farm unlimited points for leveling up.

Play nioh way better than any souls game I played and it actually has a story unlike lies of p where you learn through npc’s remnant 2 was fun for like 2 days and then it gets boring as hell play warframe if you want a game like remnant its 3x better

Ugh, almost had him then he did his grabbing attack as I was trying to get some distance. Welp time to grind some lvl .
You can't level up because you can't go to the hotel until you beat him.
@@aaronkiskaden8734 wrong , if you look to your left or right I think, there are two enemies once you kill them there's alleyway with two more enemies, near the rad crystals all four enemies souls add up to a total of 1200. Just gotta grind like no tomorrow.
@@klarkmathers8087 You can get the ergo but you can't deposit it until you meet the girl who uses her power to level you up. That's what I'm saying.

Okay so guys and gals heres a tip for the usual throwable cheese. If you cheese the previous boss and DONT GO FORWARD instead go back to the previous stargazer you can still fast travel and that boss doesn’t respawn. So go back to Malum District and fill yourself and your storage up as much as you feel comfortable. I also recommend using the falcon arm upgraded to the second level. Doing all this let me do this boss in one try with 5 pulse cells. Also another thing I noticed if you leave his summon be he doesnt summon more. I had one guy up for 90% of the fight and a second one spawned only after I accidentally killed the first. Hope this helps everyone pushing for the final stretch!
@andrewb494 unfortunately once you take the elevator down you’ll be locked in. With how the game is designed there doesn’t currently seem to be a way to force yourself back
I left his summon alone but he summoned two more :(
@@Gutgulper maybe its a timer then or something else. Like i said i only had to deal with two personally. Maybe it has something to do with his health percentage also unable to give a definitive answer to this one lol seeing how it took me one attempt and was below 2-3 minutes for the clear

I can’t beat this guy. I have throwables but since I can’t stock up, I’m waiting until I get him low but i can barely get him to 1/4th health. Really don’t like these point of no return areas in video games.
I'm doing the same, farmed up throwbkes from those 2 guys near stargazer, now trying to see how far I can get him down without wasting them coz I am not keen on farming them again, I also got no wishstones to use and preferred weapons are under levelled 💀
my character always jumps top and not roll this is so annoying i press the roll button but he always jumps high so he can hit me -.-"

I just wanted to say your channel is great! You´ve literally carry me through the whole game, if it wasn´t for you I would´ve just gave up on the first boss lol. When I found this video, I was actually shocked since we were not using our usual strats, just a 1 vs 1. By this point, I actually have like 20 out of every throwable so I could´ve just killed the boss with those, but I said f*ck it, if my coach believes that I can 1 vs 1 this man. LET´S 1 VS 1 THIS BOSS. Took me like two hours but it was worth it

If you want a slow and steady method a good strat is to just block his body slam. It’s easy and every time you can get four or five hits in.
An alternative for those who want to play it even safer: keep your distance from him and hit him with a charged attack after the belly flopping

Was able to beat him first try with the wrench + baton applied with flame grindstone using their fable arts and it brought his health to more than half instantly. Then I just proceeded to do heavy attacks along with the max level puppet string's attack links! :D
This fight is the definition of "cheap" because I was still an Advance character when fighting this...
Half of the damage capacity of an Advance build is freaking throwables.

i beat the game3 once so i went on to ng+ and i kept losing to him, so i kinda quit playing the game, and then i bought elden ring.. But im considering going back to lies of p to rek parade master again!

Is anyone else starting the boss and he instantly starts spamming the belly flop? Like I won’t even get my first hit in and he is using it
This game is amazing but the last few bosses are an absolute pain in the ass.
You made that boss super easy and it was much appreciated.. I noticed if you stay mid range however he does the belly flop even more which allows for huge easy damage.. I used the salamander dagger so the fire damage was huge.. thanks again
idk, i feel like they messed up a lot of the timings and animations in the boss fights. nothing feels like an epic fight so far, it always feel like the game is cheesing me, i learn everything by hard or i cheese the game back
I hated this fight.
The attack patterns were actually rewarding to learn to counter, but the constant Decay was very frustrating.
Other than the constant decay, the grab attack was especially nasty. For me, it was hard to differentiate it from other attacks, and always tried to perfect block it. Had a few tries where I still had a lot of pulse charges, and weapon durability with well over 50% health, and the grab one-shotted me. Even if it didn't one shot me completely the decay finished the job :(

Finally beat this A-Hole using your technique but it still wasn’t easy, what also helped was using charged strong attacks mixed in to stun him
I’ve just now beat him on the third go. I tried this method didn’t work for me. I found it best just to avoid his attacks. When he crawls towards you on the 4th arm strike hit him with charged attack
All I can write / say (Post nerfed bosses) is, "Easy, easier, live puppet's axe". To be exact, combine the blade of the live puppet's axe with the handle of the pistol rock drill. Weapon upgrade is +8,
and use the elemental fire stone. Have 4 fable slots available if doable via P-Organ upgrade.
I downrighted melted half or more or the health bar away with a single ! fable art attack (Shift + F on PC keyboard) that uses all fable bars and beat this guy without pulse cells used, you basically hit the enemy with superfast / high frequency horizontal hits. Never accomplished this before. 🤩

@HoslowWinters bro I feel you. I died to him for an hour straight last night. Infuriating. The two little scorpion dudes seem to drop random stuff. I noticed a thermite when I was running around trying to grab enough ergo to level up once more but haven't got them to drop one since. 🤬

I didn't know they dropped throwables! I was trying to do it with nothing but my salamander dagger and the fire Legion arm the whole time since I used all my throwables on the illusion walker, thank you for this tip, I'll try it later today before going into the fight again!

Funnily enough, I was pretty bad at timing the dodges so I just straight up fought him and ended up winning. It was nice to see my skill come full circle, I remember using your review for the first encounter lmao 😭

I must admit to getting exhaused by the nature of these boss fights. Stuck in a corner, large boss which makes fighting the camera an issue, blocked off progress, so merchants are not available for this one. And of course on the xbox version, these enemies seem to go into Agro mode all the time. Its just annoying.
I found him to be easier the more minions he made since they blocked his attacks off when running

If you got no throwables, use the Salamander blade with any attachments as fire does well against this guy. I'm stuck with no throwables & nothing to remove decay but having only just encountered him Salamander + a long handled weapon did well
very thankful for these videos, I had no idea you could force the "jousting" thing. I had to do this with no items seeing as I used them all on the illusionist boss and couldn't buy any more

@@arlenspecter8348 I just beat him, it was just the decay thing I found super annoying to deal, I was using the attribute purification ampoule for decay, but it just seemed to not work when I used the item, it didn't cancel it and still drained my weapon and health

@@oscarbills118 I recommend to use fire attack legion arm, a heavy weapon like the ark sword as it's longer reaching, when it does the swing attack dodge back, and run away when he does the crawl on the floor it's hard to block hope you can beat it
I’m such a dumbass. I forgot to use my fully upgrade puppet string legion arm and HOLY. The first time I used it in the fight, I beat him. Your advice to bait him for that running attack helped a lot too man. Thanks dude.

Great video and tips as always :) I would like to add a couple of things, if anyone is still having trouble:
1. You can use Falcon Eyes on the creatures that Corrupted Parade Master spawns. Right as the creature spawns, lock onto it and fire one shot.
2. When CPM starts belly flopping (or doing the Worm, if you're old school), the "flops" are easy to time and you can perfect parry each one to make him staggered. Then when he is staggered, do a heavy attack, followed by a Fatal Attack.

I just beat this boss after attempt number 3. I’m not sure how I feel about the restrictions. It’s exciting and forces you to really learn the bosses moved but seems also quite unfair and I’m sure a lot of people got really stuck here cause they’d gotten used to playing a certain way. Also I found myself inbetween fights having to grind for legions which was a real drag.
Fighting him 2nd time after patch now and it seems they changed him

Thanks for the awsome vid, helped me very much and id recommend using the maxed out flamberge during the tantrum attack, you can get some really good dmg
One of the worst bosses I’ve fought imo. Ik they are trying to take the 2 gundyr fights approach from dark souls3, but slapping in some decay-infused moves, 1-2 new follow-up attacks and adding enemies does not change much on how you approach this fight.
I used my katana, infused it with fire, charged an ulti and used it, after that I used fable catalysts and recharged the ulti again and then waited til I had enaugh fable to kill him with the third ulti. I ended up without using any cure.

Share my tackle here.
I firstly grinded my weapon with fire grindstone and gave damage to the boss as much as possible (better set him fire😅 everything is luck, but low cost) utill I got serious hit. (Coz at the first half of boss hp, less chance of biological attack.)
Right after the first round of attack , shot him with falcon eye to "confirm"the damage to him (dunno why after hitting the boss, the shading hp of boss will remove).
And then the careful way as the vid show, just hit right after the bodyslam.
For the minion, lure them to stick with the boss, and hit them with the boss together.

I somehow accidentally skipped this boss? I was in the elevator (after the walker of illusion)and my game closed by itself. When i restarted i was outside the escalator and i cant go in. I had to take another route to hotel krat :/
This guide requires fast weapon with tons of damage. If you dont have it - you are done. His jump is one shotting you, decay will eat your hp and if you try to use potion (if you have one, lol) boss will hit you once or twice cause animation of consuming slow you down. I have no idea, how to beat him, all my weapons are too slow for him.
What console are you on?

I took a little bit different approach or I got lucky but he seemed to want to jump on me more then usual maybe it was the distance not sure but I was able to get a few key perfect guards in and when I got him close to death hit him with a couple throwables
