I think there are too little people appreciating how good the Nameless Puppet's design is. In addition to being really cool, his dual swords are a scissor, which fits the puppet theme really well. I just wish we can have something more similar to his moveset when using Proof of Humanity.
One of the most ridiculous Ongbal videos I’ve seen. Nameless puppet has so much HP in NG++. Took me a whole day just to beat him. You’re really puttin work in with that Two Dragons Sword. I accidentally parried Simon with the charge heavy and fuckin lost it. Best weapon mechanic in the game. Awesome video Ongbal.
Two Dragon Sword’s Counterattack is very powerful. The downside of that weapon is when you get used to it and start to love it there is no going back to other weapons. I am NG+6 and my last 3 playthrough was with Two Dragon Sword and begun to felt too boring.
@@jdogzerosilverblade299it's amazing but it's not really easy mode. It still requires skill to use it properly. There will be plenty of times you die trying to use it. That being said I could use it and perfect parry about half the time I used it's Charging R2. When you successfully do it it does a lot of stance damage and more damage in general though.

honestly this guy feels like ai to me. Beating so many of these bosses without single mistake is little suspicious. I know he tried 100 times to be this perfect but did he ever streaming to show his overall gameplay? Let me solo her is other known souls player but he streaming and you see he dies 20+ times to just beat a boss let alone no damage and things like that

In the second phase, the strings are cut loose from him, and now that he's in control of himself, he wants to make sure he stays free. Insane storytelling through visuals and the fight alone.

Man I spent hours yesterday on my NG run trying to figure out what moves where the best ones to use the chargedattack counter, checked your channel several times to make sure you hadnt uploaded a video so I can see your patterns and nothing... I finally got him after a while and today you upload this masterpiece... thanks ;)
I just finished my second play through , didn’t face the nameless puppet during the first run, what a ruthless and unforgiving opponent he was. Extremely impressive and flawless victory, hats off to you, just beating him is accomplishment enough !
The flourish parry on the retaliation after stagger was genuinely impressive. A part of me is curious to see how badly the nerfs affected the bosses that were hit.

I beat the game today. It felt like Manus was way too easy. I had hoped to progress a few hours, but i didnt even need 10 tries .... Nameless puppet was fun tho
It’s interesting that the Puppet only splits his sword into scissors and gain the ability to cuts his strings after Pinocchio slices his head in half. Its a compelete refutation of Geppeto’s goal for him and Pinocchio. If Nameless already has his own soul, then he has no need for Pinocchio’s.
It's Gepetto's first prototype of Pinocchio, using Carlo's body (you can see his body is more organic but the inside of the body is machine) but when Gepetto tried to revive him it went berserk in a way. That's why he created the second Pinocchio, so his heart would get enough Ergo to be revived properly along with the arm of God. It works that way cause he possibly retains the memories of Carlo, instead of the personality like P.
2:07 i notice that the Nameless Puppet skips the first attack and immediately jumps into the second attack from the Fable Art of Proof of Humanity. To be able to recognize that and then parry the final spinning slash so quickly is inhuman. Absolutely GOATed.

The devs know that people want to fight the bosses and if they add it, people won't explore the world. No one wants to completely disregard the effort they put in for hundreds of hours developing the world. In the case of Sekiro, the main focus is on the gameplay, making complete sense in adding a boss refight feature.

what drove me nuts at first about this game is the perfect guard timing is a few frames different than Sekiro. In Lies of P you need to block just a few frames earlier, rather than directly on the attack. The consistency in this video is nuts

People won’t ever spot the mistakes of their beloved game while hating on Lies of P out of pure unskill

This is probably the most satisfying experience I’ve had wit a parry mechanic since sekiro and probably the only other dev studio other then fromsoft I’ve seen get it right and it’s only there first game imagine how good a sequel could be

Very nice. This boss actually looks like it might feel a bit more like a Sekiro boss, with the multiple hit combos that you can parry. Most bosses still seem to have almost all hits be independent, so you don't get the same kind of feeling.
That’s what I wished this game had more of. Only other boss that had the same kinda feel was the mad clown puppet, surprised hearing people had trouble with him as I found his attacks to be very rhythmic and telegraphed
You can literally parry a 13 hit combo from Laxasia. She also have that 5 hit smash combo that feels good to parry. The lightning balls in phase 2 is also extremely fun to parry
laxasia p2 kit (even some of p1) don't strike me as being all that "naturally" telegraphed visuals, but yes she does have some specific ones that are oddly gimmies and those just might be intentional, perhaps to allow people to do the p1 "skip" by eventually breaking her weapon
This might be the biggest showcase of skill from a base game you can get. Yeah sekiro mods are crazy, but counting only main games, this performance is absolutely insane, the sword parry looks easy but it's super hard to pull off consistently
Nameless Puppet really is a nice boss to close out the story, much cooler than Manus 😂👍🏼 really glad i got the free from the puppet strings as my first ending, it was an epic fight!

Tbh, I don't like the other endings after obtaining the rise of P ending. Having all the hotel members being slaughtered and replaced with puppets is just cruel and terrifying (at least is the bad ending)

I had no idea that Lies of P could be played like this. Especially parrying precisely every time. Truly next level. How do you make your movement and attacks so quick? Does it have to do something with levelling up stats, or is it determined by the weapon, or something else?
the parry window in this game is so small. I learned sekiro pretty well and this game humbled me trying to parry every attack. I guess that's why they also added a guard regen mechanic to the game
This some crazy ahh work, I just finished this fight couple of hours ago and it was hard Ngl, with the shock arm and was manageable. Now I know someone can do phase 2 without shock.

Nameless puppet was not nerfed. Only puppet king, Simon manus and archbishop.

Main reason I didn’t give my heart to Gepetto because I was NOT satisfied with Manus. This one though, might be best in the game

How do you make your movement and attacks so quick? Does it have to do something with levelling up stats, or is it determined by the weapon, or something else?

the parry window in this game is so small. I learned sekiro pretty well and this game humbled me trying to parry every attack. I guess that's why they also added a guard regen mechanic to the game

The charge parry of twin dragon sword is extremely difficult to timed.
- Doesn't even take chip damage during the fight
- Still almost dies in the cutscene

This some crazy ahh work, I just finished this fight couple of hours ago and it was hard Ngl, with the shock arm and was manageable. Now I know someone can do phase 2 without shock.
