I know your a smoker, I just came off of one myself, but you should review a fe350s. It would be a best of both worlds comparison.

💯 agree with the clutch and brake review. Love the clutch but hate the brakes. Was literally just talking about switching out the front brakes from my husky 450 to my gas gas. Other than that though great overall bike!
I think you should review tpi 150 (with tsp head & map). I consider it as a perfect tool for beginner in extreme - way better than 250 at least but I haven't gone into 300 yet.. I would also love to hear your thoughts about 350 4-stroke used in hard enduro. You can choose the color from ktm, husky or gas gas

You should try the RG3 Suspension revalve - it handles the little stuff while not blowing thru on the bigger stuff. I was 17 seconds faster on a 3 minute loop using the revised suspension.
Not so much hard enduro - but I’m sure you would benefit as well.

Heck yah!! Cool to hear from a legit rider about stock suspension, I think most people automatically send out their suspension because they are afraid to play with it. Stock can run pretty dang good!

Luv your review videos, please keep them coming !! interesting comment you made about gearing, I have a 20 300 ecw, I tried 13/52 and found I got more wheel spin with it so I went back to 13/50, much prefer 2nd and 3rd gear with that setting, even 1st gear is better, less snappy, I'm a muppet rider so maybe that's why? :-(
Although 13/50 might have been OEM on many wide ratio KTMs owned, I've gravitated to 14/52 to keep ratios similar yet ease wear on CS sprockets and chains! IMHO :-(
How about testing Yamaha YZ250X, the real bulletproof bike? ;)
Thats a definite possibility!
The 250x has different suspension, gear ratios, no headlight and no estart. Good bike for wide open but not hard Enduro imo

@@DenisElpashev not as suitable for me. Graham Jarvis could make the yz450 look good.
I'm not that good of a rider, I can stall in inconvenient spots and want the plusher suspension
@@Richard-Burdett-Bow I've stalled my yzx in all possible inconvenient positions you can think of.. And then I just kick it and go :) There is no position where you can't kick, except when it's laying on the ground on its right side, but why would you ever want to start the bike which is laying down? Lift it, kick and go...

LOL. My 2022 KTM 300 XC TPI was at the dealer 3 times due to my complaining it was not producing any power.
At 7 hours it exploded. Trail riding always.
Even twisting the crankshaft, and the piston and cylinder severly damaged.
My 1st and last anything from KTM!!
What do you thinking about Rieju MR 300 Pro?
Rieju got the rights to produce the original Gas Gas EC 300 and also supply the spare parts for the existing models. MR 300 is a carburated engine, avoiding so the complexity of TPI system. It has top guality components (KYB, Nissin, Magura etc) and a lot of usable power. I posses the 2019 Gas Gas EC 300 and I'm totally pleased by the bike. I have more than 220 hrs of soft and hard enduro in stock form, without a single issue!
What gearing would you recommend for the EC300 for single track PA forest, up and down slopes and medium rocky. Not boulders, but baseball to watermelon size rocks? On my Xtrainer I’m mostly in second gear with 13/51.

You should test some older bikes. Most people aren't buying brand new bikes. I know that eventually your current bikes you test will be older bikes, but that will take several years.
I'm sad the new Austrian high command got rid of the older bike....now the best enduro is a Rieju..
How many hours had you actually put on this bike, as I understand, even without a top-end rebuild?
How many hours on average is a single training session for you and how many hour do you ride per season?

Same motor like Husky/Ktm but has about 90gr lighter flywheel than his cousins, from here the extra snap. It's great where you ride, but in muddy terrain it's not so good.
Good stuff as always! Interesting hearing your comments on suspension being good enough for slow technical riding, which I agree with.

I have a 2017 TE300 with 150 hrs on it and it’s been rock solid. Just put a new pipe on at 140 and the piston and cylinder looked brand new still.
How many hours do you typically go between fork services and have you blown any fork seals in the WP’s?

I assume you haven’t had any problems with the dreaded crankcase pressure sensor. That’s reassuring. I feel as if my entry into the 2t tpi world with the ec300 was meant to be. As a weekend warrior I feel like I will get plenty of seat time for my investment. Oh and I can keep practicing all the skills and drills shared on this channel. 👊🏽✊🏽🤘🏽

Not sure yet. I've tested a lot of 250s and actually have my best results on a 250! They work great!

How does the reliability stack up on this ?
Just wondering about feedback on the plastics. I know it's not a high priority, but I have seen other reviewers mention it is more brittle on the Gas Gas than the KTM or Husky. I'm wondering if it's a factor in the cost of the bike in comparison to the other brands.
I've personally had no problems with the plastics! They've been great for me!
