@@TrailBoundco - Haha! I owned an ATV back in my teen years about 25 years back. It was a birthday gift from my father and I am pretty sure the tires were worn out in 6-months. I bet I was on that thing at least 5 hours a day, 7 days a week, if not more! I rode it hard for at least a year before moving to my mother's cross country and leaving it behind. My father rode it for two more years before he sold it.

Good video. Seems like it's held up to the abuse. Shame on the fuel pump problem. Dust getting sucked into the engine will destroy just about any engine. I've had a few bikes where the air filter seal is difficult to get right.
Yeah I think it did well, there’s pro elena that come up with every bike with enough time. I’ve heard about the sealing issues with some of the ktm filters so I always try to check the back part with my fingers now since you can’t see if it’s sealed from the front
Chris is a real badass… awesome vids, awesome riding, awesome mods, awesome editing! I installed all the “High-Flow” stuff on my 250 TPI. pump, filters, hoses.. etc. can’t really tell a difference. I had a 300xc for awhile and just couldn’t get the suspension right… even changed out the aer forks and still hated it… something about that pds.. don’t knock it til u try it. Superior for hard-ish enduro imo. Lighter, softer, no snagging on shit, less maintenance, simple.
The accumulated wear and tear from hard enduros is amazing. I used to enter 8-11events a year. Local timekeeping enduros and a couple of cross country events. I would swap dirt bikes every couple of years and not do anything to them when it was time to sell. They would show major signs of wear on the plastics and minor wear on the frame, forks, wheels or seat. Hope you share what the Gas Gas like when you are ready to sell it.
Serious question, how do you sell your bikes when your done with them? Even though the damage is mainly cosmetic, i imagine it would be impossible to sell. Do you just keep them forever?
I sell them every year at 300h. this one I kept a few months extra. I pretty much put all new parts on them, repack all the bearings clean everything up real good make sure its dialed

I’ve tried the factory site to no avail, I’m not real tech savvy so your help would really be appreciated 👍
Riding that tree was really cool!
Thanks Brother 🤙😎😎
id probably just hit up the KTM dealers because many of them also carry the GG now its the same bike essentially
@@TrailBoundco Thanks Brother 🤙😎😎
Bikes pretty much new. Just needs a tiny bit of Armarol. No but honestly, I envy guys who can just ride a machine and absolutely don't care about how they look or how "visually" trashed they get. It must be so easy and fun. I always stress about scuffing the dam thing.
2:12 The rims look great, I can't stand
black rims. YZ blue rims are awesome too.
The silver rims make it look cheap , black would look better... when I get mine im going to chuck a red set on it or get the silver powder coated , looking forward to riding a 2 smoke haven't riden one since my 98 cr250r back in the day , 7 yz450f's later and still to this day ive never riden on a track , the 300 is going to be a lot of fun im really looking forward to it ... stay safe guys🇦🇺🤙🏻
that thing hes seen some intense riding lmao, love it
15:30 perfect example when people say Yamaha X's don't need e-start.
agreed, it gets you out of shit for sure
Those jubile clips on swingarm are gunna keep hitting your chain the way you’ve position them that’s jokes 😂😂
Anyone you’ve heard of with oil pump failure? Debating when to change mine. Lol ive heard 20+ are better now with a filter in the tank
nope not that I know of personally
I like that bike sir.. ❤️👍🏻
I can fix that exhaust chamber for you. Looks like it’s been through a lot lol
Pipe looks fine.
i ride motocross but agree i like the snappyness of the old ktms personally ride a 1999 ktm 250sx and despite being a 23 odd some year bioke its alot more snappy then my newer 2020 ktm 250sx
You beat that sucker like it owed you money. Sure you had fun in the process though 👍
Man my 21 yz450f have 21h I don't have time to ride 😭
I put 34 hours on my 450r in a year....good lord
Did you have chance the Oil pump ?
nope zero issue there
Haha I bet the bikes get nervous when you walk into the dealership, I’ve never seen a bike so scratched 😆😆
haha Let's Ride Powersport is down with the hard enduro bikes 😁
This is why o don’t mind buying a used bike that looks clapped. At 350hrs and only a year old in that shape is crazy but
You know that things running good if it’s being ridden that hard
I saw the exhaust and was so confused that it was Hours not years
Im pretty sure that bike is going to press charges against you for bike abuse 😬
I thinking about that 🤔
I got that little gqp to, but i was lucky nothing broke🤓
Hit up bulletproof designs they’ll send you out a new piece for the rear guard
yeah they're awesome!
U do 300h a year wow your busy
Ive been less than impressed with the axp skidplates. My current yz250x model ive cracked though a "weld" in less than 15 hours of use. The rest of the plate is doing well but I probably wouldn't buy again.
interesting how old is the plate? ive had zero issues with my skid plate for the first time on this bike with the axp
@@TrailBoundco bike has 17 hours-ish and i noticed it before the last ride. My boss broke his in a single ride, while another coworker has had great luck. Seem to be hit and miss as you ride much nastier stuff than i do.
My Axp is bulletproof with 105 hours
@@nick4872 hit and miss I think. After trashing the thinner 6mm version amd breaking the weld on an 8mm they arent my first choice.
260 2nd gear hours with my AXP and she beauty still
