De toutes les versions de ce chef d’œuvre, c’est celle qui « envoie » le plus, côté piano et violoncelle. Le violoncelle de Maisky est extrêmement expressif, et flirte avec les limites. Le piano d’argerich est loin de se faire oublier, parfois un rien brutal, comme à son habitude.
Une version très subjective, excellente pour ceux qui n’ont pas peur de l’excès. Très réussi si on accepte le genre et les artistes qui n’ont pas froid aux yeux.
