@@348Tobico It would not be safe for horses to be behind a chain. If a horse was spooked or became restless, then the chain would be a danger for the horse and Guard.
Visitors to the site should show respect for the Guards and their horses, who should be allowed to carry out their duties unhindered. Restrictions should be placed on visitors, rather than move the Guards and horses, from a British tradition. Authorities have allowed visitors the privilege of seeing the Guards and horses carrying out part of their ceremonial duties. Visitors should respect this. There are farms where people can visit, to pet horses and other animals.

I’m amazed none of the tourists haven’t said anything about her getting out of the way so they could take photos or just see the guard and his horse. To take that child’s hand right out of her mother’s hand and force her to pet the horse was unbelievable. Children have more respect than she does. She absolutely cannot keep her hands to herself, touching people as well. She is a complete attention seeker. She doesn’t care about the horse or it’s well-being. She has zero respect for authority or for others or even herself.

Finally! They were extremely patient with her. Not only was she annoying the horse, but she was touching other people and interfering with their pictures. I'm sure nobody traveled hundreds of miles to have her in their photos. How selfish!

The guard did a lot of talking to her. Its sad that her behavior had to be addressed like that but she was in everyone's way and she constantly stroked and petted the horses. She was a liability to the guards and children's parents that she picked up to pet the horses. She was also in the photos of the children that she was holding and the parents now have Karen in the photos of their children forever.
I used to do pony rides. And when the parents took pictures of their kids, I tried, as much as possible, to stay out of the picture, while still holding onto the pony. After all, they didn't want a picture of me.
We could all see that thank you.
Blame the parents/guardians for allowing it.
@Patricia Phillips I have heard the woman tell people that she is a tour guide. She gives the impression that she is there working and helping the guards. I blame the police for not giving her an official move on order and allow her to be there day after day behaving like this.

Part of me thinks she maybe trying to obtain payment from the unsuspecting public by associating herself with the horse? Nothing whatsoever sad about it. She is a dangerous nuisance and, she know exactly what she's doing. She's baiting the Guard, the Police and the Horse. She needs to be issued with a Section 35 order to leave the area immediately for 48 hours. If she doesn't leave or, comes back within 48 hours she gets arrested. After 48 hours she can return but if she starts her interferance again, another order. What does not help is the sick clowns who were filming her being spoken to, turning her into some sort of UA-cam celebrity. She's loving it.

I don’t understand why the guards will move the horse, backup, raise its head every time she attempts to touch the horse and other times, they’re completely oblivious to her. She’s not going to stop until she’s legally banished from the area. Touching the children is in itself against the law.

You should not touch the horses. Too many crazy people around today - makes the trooper and horse very vulnerable. Surprised the Trooper did not tell them to step back - he is supposed to! It is stressful for the horse and not a safe or responsible thing to be doing.

I loved the way they handled this!! Took away all the attention she's seeking, closed gate, no cameras, perfect! She only stops when she's ignored, like when the one guard turned the horse away from her so it faced the other direction and people could get a photo without her 😅 Great job, she finally stopped! I feel badly for the people who get sucked into her game. I'm pretty assertive with this tupe of thing, if she stepped in or hung around when I was having my photo taken or trying to take a photo, I'd ask her to step out of the view/photo! And I'd be sure she stayed back!
