I get quite upset at how she makes the police , horse & guards look like fools. Don't they realise she's taking the Mickey out of them behind their backs, then she goes back and the police are laughing with her, why can't they see what she's doing or don't they care? Yes ...the police sometimes stand in attendance when needed, but they encourage her instead of getting rid of her.

It's about time this woman was stopped. she is a total menace. I first came to London in 1952 and never ever saw so many disrespectful, and downright awful visitors.
Have you seen lots of this type of videos? When tourists get yelled at, have you ever, ever seen anyone apologise for their behaviour?
I attended this place recently because of channels such as this one. I was really eager to see The King's Guards. When we attended (March 2023), there weren't too many tourists around and I just filmed some of The King's Guards. No one touched the reins. I was way too shy to actually go up and pet the horse, but I did thank The Guard.
I have a Playlist of the channels who film this type of behaviour. On one hand, there are so many tourists who just want to learn things and are keen to film stuff without getting in the way.
I have seen so many of these vidoes, but there is one or two which showcase the woman actually picking up a child. I do not know anything about this woman, other than what she has been like in front of the camera. I do not know her reasoning for acting this way, but I think that she was under the impression that she was doing something right and in her mind, she probably thought that her intentions were good.
I also don't know what London was like in 1952, but I am sure that it would be fair to say that no one would ever laugh at or ridicule a Guard. I am dismayed when people laugh at The Guards. They are not funny.
@@UKImmigrationLawGeek This has been going on for many, many years. My grandfather who was a Grenadier Guard was stationed at Buckingham Palace in the time when the sentry boxes were outside the gates, the harassment was so bad they had to be placed inside the gates as they are now. I think some of the tourists think they are in Disneyland and the soldiers are just characters in a fairy story which they can touch, make fun of and generally act very disrespectfully to, not highly trained soldiers who have probably been on active service in Iraq or Afghanistan. I don't know who in their right mind would go abroad and physically touch a soldier or his horse, one day someone is going to get injured. Apart from her laugh driving me mad, I think the lady in question is lonely, I don't think she means any harm but it is highly irritating to the soldier and their horse to by constantly touched, but even words from the police don't seem to make any difference. Perhaps one of the senior solders should have a word?

I can assure you that there were no hordes of tourists and nobody would have dreamt of going anywhere near the Guards on duty let alone touching the horses. Enough is enough and all this disrespect has to be stamped on. I can't adequately explain how angry these scenes make me. As for that cackling woman!
@@darcylowe5292 yes I think you might be right. I think it’s unfair to say things like she’s not right in the head etc. people have no idea what this lady’s family life is like. Maybe being here is the only interaction she has day in day out. She’s not doing anything wrong legally. Yes she maybe a nuisance in some peoples eyes. To the police and soldiers, but they don’t know what her personal life is like either. It is wrong tho for her to but in when people want to have photos with the horses. Picking up a child is a real no no, but the adult didn’t challenge it.
I love how the horse leaned towards the young lady putting his head down, then that rude, cackling baggage put her hand towards him and he pulled his head up and away from it.
Yes and several times he tried to grab his own reins as if to get everything completely away from her. It's very obvious he recognizes her and totally dislikes her.
I'm not sure the horse liked her much at all xD They're quite emotive, I'm not really sure how else to put it other than that they can just *tell* when someone gives off a bad vibe

I can’t understand why she is not arrested under section 5 or suspected of possibly causing a breach of the peace as she argues with the soldiers and police, which could cause members of the public alarm, harassment or distress, just nick her. The public can’t get a photo without her in it, she acts like she is some tour operator and authority, just wrong and that irritating over the top laugh!

They made everyone clear away from the guard and horse. That way they didn't need to single her out and create a scene. Not sure if it was the normal time for the horse and guard to go inside or if they chose to shut down the whole thing because of her. But yes, something should be done about her - not sure if they could do a restraining order or not.

I think they should consider putting up a sign to say the horses are working animals and their personal space should be respected whilst they are working. It should make people think twice about constantly approaching them to pet.
The signs would need to be in literally dozens of languages, as we have seen from these videos many of the tourists do not understand spoken English never mind written English

People just do not have common sense and think they are entitled to do what they want when they want. No respect anymore. I am of the old generation when we had respect taught to us from a very early age. I have tourists here in the area I live in and some of them are downright damned rude. Sure they bring in money to the place, but we are a small community. Any huge function going on, they will park their cars where they want, no matter if it is blocking you from getting out. First big function next week, guess I will be staying home, roads will be a nightmare.

She knows exactly what she is doing. Army officer put it to her recently when she started provoking and harassing the dismounted guards. She kept harassing a young soldier. An officer told her outright to stop it. They KNOW she was doing all this for her TikTock and You Tube audience and she needed to quit before someone got hurt. I've only just watched this video.. and yes she did say she'd go back when the police had gone, bragging about it. I was pleased when I saw it was a change-over so at least that horse and guard were going to get a break from her!

I'm betting the guards know about her. Its possible that they can't do anything with her. What bothers me is when she picks up children to pet the horses, something could happen to them that the parents would be very unhappy with. Till that happens the guards, police can't do anything with her. The tourists might be the ones to say something to her.
I'm not British but I assume that the cops have already enough reason to arrest her. She spits on the horse and the soldier, watch at Minute 09:08. And yes, a horse tried to bite a little toddler on her arm once. So it is a question of time till something happens. I think, the parents will be surprised to hear that this Karen is not working there. In case a toddler gets kicked, they would probalby sue the palace and the manager.
If the patents were sensible the wouldn't allow their kids to be picked up by a total stranger. A weird one at that

She is a regular there. She does this all the time. The guards probably know her pretty well by now. I fear she truly believes, subconsciously or not, that this Military Museum is her own personal petting zoo! Its so uncomfortable to watch. Whenever she comes around the horses all sense the tension in her even though she smiles and laughs. Horses are really good about sensing chaos and disorder. In this situation though, these handlers are trained to sense also how the horses are handling it at the time and usually respond quietly and quickly before the #@&% hits the fan

The girl in the long blue coat with the sun glasses on her head starting at 1:17 knows horses. Shows the back of her hand and lets the horse take the lead. She knows where to scratch and what the horse will like. The horse responds to her soft touch and probably her soft voice. The woman who seems the self appointed cruise director has been a lot of other videos. Some with a pink turban. She is a real pain.

I watched one video where the police told the guards, on duty, to not let her touch the horses. The second she reached out to touch the guard would move the horse away from her. She is awful.

She is very irresponsible. These horses are working. She is encouraging people and children to interfere with the duty of the horses and guards. Where is the liability if she looks 'official' and encourages and sometimes forces the working horses onto children and trusting visitors - who could potentially be hurt. I think the police need to loudly and publicly correct her behaviour consistently and make plain how 'unofficial' and dangerous her actions are - to embarass her to her 'audience' she is performing for.

She was served with a legal notice of trespass which meant she was not allowed on HorseGuards yard at all. It appears to have worked because up till HorseGuards closed down, she hadn’t been back. Hopefully that will continue once they re open.
Even when shes asked to move along she laughs like shes astounded shes been asked to stop petting the horses and then goes to ingratiate herself with the police officers. She just doesnt stop.

Yup, and she has complained to the police that the guards are being cruel to the horses by sitting on them for an hour at a time. This was last summer so she's been there coming up to a year at least. i have an idea she works with someone taking videos of her because every so often she looks at someone in the crowd and plays up to a camera, I've even seen the same video on a channel [can't remember the name though] and the bloke taking the video was egging her on to touch the horse. Maybe they're making money from UA-cam/TickTock because videos with her in them seem to garner more views than those of just the guards.
