I thought she said, a few videos ago, that the reason she was wearing that backpack was because she was heading home to Yorkshire? Instead, she continues to disrespect the guard, triggers the horse, and now she's putting her hands on children. Isn't this a public safety issue? The tourists have no way of knowing she has no official capacity there, unless someone puts a sign on her!
This was my first thought, too! The mothers obviously think that this crazy lady works here. What if something happens to the children? What if the horse bites or kicks one of the little toddlers? Who is to blame? I don't think that this crazy Karen is to blame because she seems to be mentally retarted. She must have a legal guardian. And after all: The soldiers should finally banish her. They should retain a lawyer and provide a temporary restraining order. For the sake of everybody.
Yes she is from Yorkshire but why for many months I have seen The horses, guards n police don't like her being near them. The horses start throwing their head wanting her to move back but she doesn't. She kisses the horse all over his face n neck( kisses them on their lips n picks grass from their teeth) She is also putting her hand up against the horses mouth n horse think he is getting a treat. I would not tell her or she will start bringing things for the treat the horse Which isn't allowed but she will do it anyway. Once she was told to step back but then she moved over to the other horse. She doesn't care lol
The commentary coming over on this video is not helping the situation in the slightest. Whoever you are stop laughing with her and egging her on. She hasn't the slightest clue how to read a horse. She thinks all their actions are in agreement to the conversations she has with them. She even kisses them on the mouth. She is damn lucky she hasn't had half her face bitten off 🤦🏼♀️.
I am no horse expert but even I know ears back, pawing the ground, and flicking head up and down, is a sign of an irritated horse (and many other animal species). Just shows how well trained they are that they put up with all the touching, crowding, hand waving, shrieking, and other nonsense the tourists come up with.
Furthermore, putting an empty open hand under the horse's mouth is teasing them. They are expecting treats . Now she is picking up toddlers and putting them at serious risk of being bitten.
All you people who produce these Horse Guard videos are not helping the situation in the slightest. If this Karen were to be totally ignored , she would pack up , go home and not come back.
Time has come to shut down the tourist trade around military guards. There are plenty of other sights to see in London.
England is making a mockery of the military allowing tourists anywhere near them. These brave men and woman have all been on active service and many have lost their lives or have lost limbs just so the rest of us can be free to live in peace. What a way to thank them by allowing them to be mocked by tourists. We aught to be ashamed that this is allowed to happen

When I seen her with that little boy my blood ran cold know one would pick up my son and I didn't know them she wants the public to think she's working with the guard and horses because she even asks people to come and take a photo with the horse something definitely needs to be done she's a danger to others as well as guard and horses

@@Hypnobunny1 Do you notice the sign above her head? Do you also notice the guard on top of the horse. Please take note that this guard does absolutely nothing to discourage her behavior. Why?.. I have a feeling that this is her channel ( after viewing at least a dozen) and she is filmed while doing this. She is also filmed inside the gates talking to the police. We can't make out the conversation because of the poor audio. They could be talking about the weather. Who knows?
Because she is technically not breaking the law so they have to be very careful or she could sue them. You dang just arrest someone for disliking them. That is why what she is doing is so wrong because she breaking the unwritten rule of respecting boundaries without breaking the law.
She can be ticketed, banned and charged for being Public Nuisance, or a Danger to Public., Harrassment for several reasons., Failure to Comply with Police Orders. Etc. Etc. She should be dealt with. Even a Mental Health Hold. Parents could file Attempted Kidnapping for picking their kids up and walking off. Child Endangerment, holding child to the horse. Homeless charges. A lot could be done.
Err the "guards" are there for the tourists - it's a show-off. They are really not needed to "protect" the king. Their JOB is to look good for the tourists. Do you understand it now? Britain earns MILLIONS OF MONEY on tourists, and the royals and everything connected to them are tourist magnets. You should've figured that yourself. But you are not alone, completely misunderstanding everything. And the guards aren't "annoyed" by the tourists - they love it. They are paid good money, and they are HEROES in the eyes of tourists and you. They simply LOVE to sit there and play tough. RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
1. Leaning forward to kiss the horse's face, might lead to a broken neck with the flick of the horse's heavy head and powerful neck.
2. Setting a child under a horse's blind spot (its chin) can startle the horse and trigger a stomping instinct.
3. Holding someone’s child between your body and the horse is high risk for the child. Always stand parallel to the horse so you can make a simple side step if needed or if bumped.
4. The child should be in the opposite arm to the horse.

I've seen one bite, softly, a nuisance child.about 12 yo. She earned it, messing with its muzzle and mouth. It didn't hurt her, just educated.

The mounted Guards can't unless she interferes with the tack. It must come from the command. But she is endangering people especially children. In Australia by now she would be behind bars pending trial.

If you look very closely (& I know many have done so), some of the people she beaconed up (kills me, like she is running a petting zoo of hapless creatures) just in this short video did indeed touch the "tack", including the lower left rein + the cross part of the halter. This officer could be more vigilant but I guess that the police & guards are so utterly exasperated & exhausted after so many attempts to make her leave the horses & guards to do their duty that they gave up. She is a hopeless case of misery upon others.

The horse is choking on hay caught in his throat and mouth and cant work it out because of the ton of metal from the double bit in his mouth and the idiot guard snatching his head upright continuously. The crazy lady is the only one who actually notices the choking and pulls hay from his mouth. The grooms job or whoever tacked up the horse should check for food before cramming all that huge bits in there.. There are 2 bits in his mouth. One a gag snaffle by the looks and a large bar curb bit. Youre supposed to check before tacking.

Erm, no, we don’t arrest people for stroking a horse. These guards are on public display and if you look at a few videos you’ll see that a lot of the horses like the fussing. It alleviates the tedium of standing still for a long time.

They need to have a physical barrier where no one can come near the guards or the horses.
That would interfere with the guard’s primary duty, which is protection. They may seem like a tourist attraction, but they’re not.

The Guard should have told that lady to Shove Off a long time ago ....she obviously knows nothing about Horse because with each new kid she invited to pet the horse you can see the horses ears start to go Backward this is a Sign if Stress or Annoyance for Horses which can only defend themselves by Biting & Kicking (if they cannot run away ) horses will also intentionally knock down & Trample what they perceived as a Threat / Annoyance . This lady has created a Dangerous situation ( esp for the kids ).

I hope all of the people who comment on multiple videos that she is not doing anything wrong, that she is harmless, see this example. Now people are letting her carry their tiny children because they think she is associated with the palace.
She does not work there and, because she refuses to permanently cooperate with the police and guards, has blatantly pronounced that she will always return once they have gone, she becomes a security risk.
For the first 20+ videos of her that I have seen I thought she was just extremely annoying and self-centered.
It's quite possible that, more than simply her irritating traits, she has a negative agenda.
I'm not convinced that she does yet security has become an issue worth the attention of police and guards.
If she is harmless and wants to pet a horse she needs to go to a horse sanctuary or therapeutic riding academy rather than claim these agitated horses as her own.
That covers it nicely.. really she needs to be told properly..but she laughs around with the police and thinks she is friends with them too. It is not good enough. Not in the times we live in with so many nuts walking amongst us. Xtra caution should be taken. And a No Touching sign should go up..Complacency is not an option..

You can see that most of these people have no experience with horses at all and don't realize that the situation could turn dangerous very quickly. This woman is putting them all at risk. I get the impression that she is escalating and should be dealt with before something tragic occurs. As for the parents. They are trying to be polite and don't fully comprehend what this horrible woman is doing. She just snatches the kids without permission and gets bolder and bolder. I have respect for the father who hung on to his kids and guarded them from her. He understood the situation where some of the others didn't.

When people encroach on the horses reins, or touch the guard, they are allowed to defend themselves and the horses, but just because this woman is being an annoying p(ain) i(n) t(he) a(rse) there doesn't seem to be much they can do except call the police, who probably can't do much more than the Guard unless she shows herself to be a threat.
This lady pops up in a number of videos over a length of time as lady in red, purple & black. She has a distinct cackle when laughing. She acts as if she works there especially when dressed all in red. She unsettles the horses by touching, kissing etc. Pain in the backside. Has been shouted at but ignores the guard who then pushes the red button. Police speak with her. She then moves on & spends very short time with the other horse before leaving. She is a law unto herself & a b nuisance.

Most people have no concept of weight & distance & on & on. So a horse of the regimental caliber such as in this video weighs 800 to 900 pounds. You adults know what you weigh & roughly how much is muscle & you know darn well what a child lifted up by this woman weighs & how fragile that child is. This horse is
solid muscle & bone encasing vital organs, as can be clearly by those willing to look (for a start -look at the neck - what the heck do you think is under the skin you are creepily "petting"?). I am not berating people who know animal anatomy & care for creatures such as horses. So 800 pounds & guess what protects the most important part of that giant body, the brain, is a huge skull on the end of that gigantic neck. Yeah, great, strangers might touch & kiss a horse's head (which is a violation unless asked for) but do they consider the
fact, generally learned too late, that even your most darling pet horse cannot see things under the chin of his
huge heavy skull, so he might swing his head up or down because of any shock (hello, London streets) & accidentally break your skull, chin, nose etc. Those freaking tourists who pose inches from the outreach of an irritated horse trapped in an alcove have no sense of horses. Luckily, these magnificent animals, with the care & close attention of their riders, seem to know them seem to take mercy upon their tender insolent or ignorant or their child's bodies.
That poor horse is getting annoyed, the guard is getting annoyed, its about time she went back home to yorkshire and took that silly laugh with her.......
People that do no know assume she is in charge. Is no one going to put a stop to this? I worry a child may get hurt & who does she think she is to pick up children. She'd never touch mine or she'd be on the ground.

That particular individual with the scarf and backpack can be seen in a number of videos acting in various arrays of disrespect towards the guards. Someone needs to be made aware of this.
When are they going to put up a barrier in front of the horses to stop this insanity? The horses are being abused, with all these people putting their hands in their faces like that. Who knows what they could be feeding them? There has got to be a sane person in that Castle that can put a stop to this insanity. Come on people, are you waiting for a catastrophe to happen. A child’s hand bitten off, for example.

It's scary because the horses are all getting to know her and have no fear of her. She could have absolutely anything in that backpack and ìf she took something out of it no one would bat an eyelash. She is scary yes.

That laugh is so obnoxious ~ could you imagine being on a 14 hour flight ✈️ listening to that put on phony laugh. I don't know why the police put up with this outrageous display of disorderly conduct and disrespectful behavior towards the King's Guards?
