I'm a ford man but I bought a ram 2500 with the cummins and it's the best truck I've ever owned. Love it. No it's not the fastest or the most loaded but it's a truck looks like a truck rides like one wouldn't change a thing
I drive my Dually everywhere and it parks like a champ you just need to know your vehicle. Like anything it's all in how much you drive it. My Dually is my daily driver that sound of a diesel never gets old. Go figure diesels are old school i couldn't weight to go to grandads just to hear that old green tractor. Diesels have a sound, smell, feal and a reliability that next to none. So if you have a dually sitting in the barn get it out knock off the dust and drive it. There's nothing like that feeling you get from a Diesel tractor, truck, car or tank. "LOVIN LIFE"
I'm convinced the dually + Cummings + AISIN trans is the minimum setup. I've researched the Banks upgrades available and it's like plunge another 10K in them and you have a Beast for life if taken care of.
I just purchased one of these in limited trim and love it. Pulls my 5th wheel like a dream and my tag along dump trailer. I upgraded from a single rear wheel 2500. The longer wheel base, aisin, dual tires make all the difference in the world for towing. The only con is parking and thats easy fix, just back in so your door isn't in-line with whats next to you. Driving I can't tell it's bigger and the turning radius is on par, possibly better than my 2010 2500 SRW. ua-cam.com/video/QNsZptx-oGk/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/nZvV1cGjkkg/v-deo.html are my first experience with my truck towing a Big Tex Trailer and my Puma 5th wheel toyhauler around mountains.
Yes, we do extensive fuel economy testing using data recorders. Go to our website www.canadiantruckkingchallenge.ca and look for 2017 Fuel Economy Results. All the trucks we tested are listed there. Note, we publish numbers for empty, loaded with payload and while towing. All numbers are in litres per 100km - but you can covert to mpg easily. Howard
Because of how long it is, its tracks well in snow - however if you push the throttle too hard it will want to get sideways. The traction control will keep it in line most of the time - but as the driver you have to aware as you turn or change lanes in wet conditions. A soft foot and small steering inputs keeps you on the straight and narrow. Howard

Nice channel! Good video production, editing, and sound. But you need to do a bit more research before publishing. For instance, the current HD Ram (4th gen) debuted in 2010 but the interior was completely refreshed in 2013, not 2011 as stated. Also, the Aisin is pronounced "eye-zin" not "eh-zin" (although being a Canadian channel, I see why you might say it like that :)." And lastly, torque is measured in lbs per foot so the proper term is "pounds-feet" not "foot-pounds." The guy at the end said it correctly! I remember early TFL-Truck videos that said both Aisin and lbs-ft incorrectly as well but they have since corrected their terminology. But still a great job and nothing better than snow, sleds, and Cummins all in one video!

Good vid 👍 😉
Just bought a 2021 ram 3500 with 4:10 and I love my beast.
love the vids
We work at it - thanks
The click photo; Is the sunroof on that truck shingles or metal? How much extra is that going to cost? Thank you.
A truck for a real man
Should I buy this exact truck if I'm a new driver ?
If you buy this truck you have a very specific towing/payload need - new driver or not, that's the only reason to own one.
