Cowan looks so much more comfortable this year. It's good to hear him and Minten are having good chemistry together. Hope they can come up in the system together and be Leafs for years to come!

I disagree. He's the opposite of Marner, IMO. More of a goal scorer, and unlike Marner, he has grit and is a fiesty player.
Cowan doesn't have anything to prove at the junior level. It won't do him any good in dominating it once again. Hopefully, he makes the team. I personally think he will.

Imagine getting personal supervision from the legendary Hayley Wickenheiser, i have faith that the kid will manage to bulk up just fine. The Leafs have excellent staff that'll help him. I love to see how Minten and Cowan are more comfortable now, they'll be a great duo in the future. Maybe even near future! Best of luck in the summer guys, i am rooting for you come camp.

@@kirktuss4819 - Then let me ask WTF are you talking about? Finland's 3rd tier pro league is somewhat like the Federal Prospects Hockey League here in North America. Hayley Wickenheiser was a gate attraction that filled the seats on that circuit over the 22 games she played on 2003
That ain't beer league hockey Pal.
The following year her team was promoted to the 2nd tier Finnish pro league where she played 10 games.
From first hand accounts, she was not out of place on the ice as a woman in either men's league. She also represented Canada since the age of 15 into her late 30's garnering 10 gold medals in international competition including 4 Olympic Golds.
On top of this, she played Women's pro hockey on several teams.
