I’m fortunate enough to own one. It’s the third most expensive single purchase in my life after my home and car. Took me a while to come to terms with it as I could have bought a few Rolex for the same price. But now I’m glad I bought it. It’s simply beautiful and no amount of words can describe it.
ee wan khoo many congrats on this stunning acquisition. This is the watch, I can sell everything else my collection for but will keep it, so you definitely made a brilliant choice. It’s expensive I agree, but it’s worth every cent of it. Enjoy in good health.
Excellent video Hafiz well done. The watch really suits you! This is truly a watch collectors dream. I was in a very fortunate position to have the opportunity to buy this beautiful piece 3 months ago from AP.
simply beautiful... Its been almost a year I've subscribed to your channel and you surely have great taste and one of the best collection. Thank you for all your master piece.
I love it, but it's an impossible dream for me. I've worn it once in Athens boutique and took a memory photo on my wrist. 15202 st is the most beautiful watch I 've ever worn...
Thanks for this video- already have a 15450 silver which looks great. I can’t get this one 15202 from the AP shop in Singapore .. I asked them many times and they just said . It’s difficult !! I gave up .. won’t Want to pay grey market prices which is too high now
Hafiz you make some of the best and educated watch videos on internet. Thank you well done. This is a fantastic video with accurate historic references. I own an RO 15500 in deed a brilliant watch. But this 39mm Version is certainly more elegant but a bit delicate for me. Stay safe and keep up you great work.
Your stuff just keeps getting better Hafiz! I love your videos! As for the watch it's fantastic except i can't live without a second hand. But that bracelet. Damn!
Hafiz you forget to mention two piece monobloc case which unfortunately AP doesnt come up now i think from 2017 they opt for three case assembly to jumbo
Love your reviews. I live in Pakistan and currently there is no culture, appreciation or knowledge in regard to Haute Horlogerie. I hope this would change one day. Anyways love this watch. I own RO 15450 due to smaller wrist size (6'.0) yet I love it to every bit. There is just one issue that I have with 15450. Don't know why but it doesn't have a decent luminescene. Even after wearing for several day light hours yet sometimes I fail to observe even a little bit of a glow in the dark. I own elegant Nautilus 5711/1A , Speedy, Hublot and various Rolexes yet when it comes to the uniqueness and preservation of self-identity, ths AP Royal Oak is second to none with its unorthodox yet brilliant design. Keep coming with great reviews. Regards Faisal
Thanks for your message and the feedback. I’m originally from Pakistan too and moved to Australia few years back, so I know exactly what you mean. When in Pakistan, i had Tissot PRS and that was the absolute end of world for me at that time, as it cost Rs. 25000/- back in 2008, and then I upgraded to Tag aqua racer in 2012, spending like Rs. 225k and my whole friends and family were calling me crazy. It’s so good to know from your message that we have not people in Pakistan who appreciate Haute Horlogerie. The lume on your 15450 doesn’t sound right. They’re not the best in lume brightness but it should give some feint lume anyway. I personally wouldn’t be too concerned though and please don’t get it opened or checked at any shop other than Authrised Ap. RO are very, very delicate as you’d know. Here’s the link where I showed lume on 15300 at its best, and in normal life; it would still be slightly duller than this. ua-cam.com/video/aeVIeGXKKH4/v-deo.html For 6” wrist, I agree 37mm RO is a good choice. You might wanna try the new 38mm ROC. I personally like bigger watches and I’m also onto at 6.5” wrist size :) Thanks again for your message and the support.
@@HafizJMehmood Lol. Sommewhat similar story to yours. I live in Karachi and initially, I had no interest in watches at all. My first watch was a Casio with the Universal IR Remote and I only bought it because of the IR. Tissot PRC 200, my second watch was given to me as a present on a occassion. I used to be the person who believed that watch was a useless and outdated piece of machinery in today's modern world of technology and iPhones. My father always had some interest in watches however his enthusiasm tansitioned from Rados to Omega Deville Classics to Baume & Merciers and finally settled down on Rolex Dayejust and Presidentials as he and our society as a whole gained exposure. He owns several Presidentials and Datejust and He several times asked if I would want to wear them yet I had no interest in them at all. However, it is a contagious passion and it started to grow on me the day I asked my father for one of his Day Date to wear on a wedding. I started web searching about watches. And bought "Hublot Classic Fusion Titanium King Gold" as my wedding watch and since then I have never stopped searching and learned quite alot by watching and reading everyone from Hodinkee to Watch Box Reviews to Watch Finder, Yours and your very own Paul Pluta's videos and many others, you name it. And since then I had acquired several watches which includes my own Datejust41 (Steel/Gold) Skydweller Blue Nautilus Submariner Speed master Professional AP RO Swatches Sistem51's Casio F91's and yet sky is the limit. So much more to acquire. Though I still have to see another person here in Pakistan who has the similar level of knowledge and interest in Horlogerie as me, even then it feels great to wear a Speedmaster Professional on a Nato Strap and yet feel out of this world amongst people who only wears and knows about Rolex Presidentials Datejusts and few Sports models since Rolex is the barometer of success here. True and funny Story With the exception of a Datejust, whenever I have acquired a time piece and showed it to my father each time his reaction has been a straightaway rejection and a comment that Why I didn't get a Rolex and that he would never wear that watch even if someone gives it to him for free. (Even to Nautilus and RO) Yes my RO also has a brief and dull lume. I guess that is how ROs are. Oh no, trust me I would only be caught dead showing them to a local or any other watch shop instead of Authorized Dealers. Since there are no authorized dealers here in Pak. I usually buy and would also get them serviced or repaired, if needed, from Dubai. Thank you so much for your Comment. You, amongst various other Channels, are equally responsible for introducing me to this great hobby and passion which will remain with me all my life.
Thanks so much for sharing your story with me and all the compliments. Everything you’ve explained is essentially what my channel is all about - watches do far more than just the function of telling the time. I love this hobby as it has introduced m me to all so many special friends and connections, due to the passion and love we share for watches. Please keep the support coming. Thanks again and I hope you wear and enjoy your watches in good health.
It wears much bigger than 38mm chrono. 38mm chrono has same narrow bracelet as 37mm Royal Oak (15450) and that away quite a fair bit of substance. 15202 wears more like a 41mm ROC, rather than the 38mm one.
You clearly didn’t watch full video mate. Integrated bracelet design, visible screws, exploded gasket, octagonal bezel, tapisseire dial, extra thin watch at 8.2mm which was a thing back in 70s. Angular profiles and sharp corners. None of these design perspectives were used in traditional watches until Royal Oak was unveiled.

Lovely review! Wondering if this will suit my 7.5 inch wrist.
You can’t believe how perfectly it will sit. It’s a spectacular piece and you can simply not flaw its wear.
Yes! Nice video mate.
Beautiful 👏🏼
Fantastic video! Well done 👏👍
Thanks so much :)
AP-RO steel, no one like this pure perfect GG design.
Alfonso Partida completely agreed. Absolutely nothing matches this Gentas creation.
What’s the watch min span?
Which do you like better this or the 38 chrono ?
I honestly don’t think any Royal Oak stands a a chance against 15202, be it 38mm chrono, 41mm chrono, 37mm RO or 41mm RO.
Hafiz J Mehmood would you say it wears bigger or about the same. In videos it looks about the same!
It wears much bigger than 38mm chrono.
38mm chrono has same narrow bracelet as 37mm Royal Oak (15450) and that away quite a fair bit of substance.
15202 wears more like a 41mm ROC, rather than the 38mm one.
Hafiz J Mehmood wow okay thank you so much 🙏
I plan to buy one
I was born in 1972, same year the watch was released. It is on my list ;).
JAPD great choice. You will only love it more each day. :)

What’s the model’s reference number?
Hi. It’s referenced in the video description below. Reference 15202ST
Love it! I’d trade my 500 for one (if a crazy seller existed)
M Tbone I’d personally think they can both be had in the same collection 😀

It’s a pain to set the date, apart from that it’s almost perfect.
