Hey you could try to place a glass or something like that in the pond as a fish tower, that would mean you could keep seeing them. Greetings from germany
Hey you probably won’t see this, but I believe the weeds you have growing in the pond are nutsedge. It’s really common in Texas and is actually edible! Just thought I’d share!
Water hyacinth and water lettuce prefer “dirtier water”. They are excellent to clean your water but they require a lot nutrients. Also try to protect their roots from fish that can potentially nibble them. My water hyacinth trive happily from all the waste of my tilapias. Tilapias breed like crazy. I started with 8 and now they are at least 60 of them in my middle pond. And that’s already including some tilapias that I gave out to friends.
Thanks for another look at the pond. We have one too, but am not as adventurous as you in regards to its plantings. We purchased a heater made for mini ponds. It kept the water in the forties all winter to keep our goldfish doing well. Don't know how cold it gets there, but this heater was only supposed to keep it above freezing. In a warmer climate it could do the trick for your white clouds.
I wonder how a floating “O” ring would look in the middle of the pond so you can always have an opening to see the fish and sag. Possibly a light under that ring. Looks great man! Love this idea.
Nice. The kids and I put one of these ponds together after watching the first 2 videos but we went with goldfish. Thanks girl the inspiration. We love your vids.
Shelby Morgan but sister their seeds could survive for 100 years at any earthly conditions.seeds will sprout at suitable conditions and grow very fast and start to reproduce very soon.
Nice pond you have there! My wife also have some small fish ponds in Philippines. She plan to put filtration in her pond soon when she come back to Phils.
Nice pond. +1 But you should know that floating plants make shadows and plants at the pond's bottom must grow and propagate. With shadow the plants cannot grow correctly. Anyway, you should remove old and rotten leaves. Also, the plastic duck must be removed too in order to let the sunlight reach the submerged plants.
Golden WCMs are beautiful and a great choice! I have 5 in my 29 aquarium and want to add more. Never thought of putting them outside. Thanks for your video, great inspiration ❣️
The fish are adorable. Are they safe from predators? You might want to cut window screening to fit over the top. You can put a nice lightweight, sturdy border around the screen and just drop it on at night. You can shape the screen and border to just cover the open area of your pond. Good luck.
Love it I wish the water looked like that in my tanks out back I have 4 water tanks that are 330 gallons for minnows and craw dads keep up the grate work
This is so great, those are some lucky minnows! I still am loving the duck 😂 This DIY pond is looking fantastic, thanks for bringing us along for the journey! Now... Desert tank update soon? Pleeeease? I love the aesthetic of it AND the fun stories you conjure up for it! It was already very different from anything I'd seen, but the elements of fun you add to the videos (aliens, ducks and so on) really make your videos a relief for me. I very much appreciate your humor and creativity. I still go back and laugh at your April fool's video on how to set up a tank 😂 Thanks Mike for everything you do!
Love your pond! I've been wanting to set up a pond, but i have to take our extreme heat into consideration! (Arizona) but people have them here, so i know it can be done! Yours is very inspiring! Nice work!
I think the Water Hyacinth is a good idea as it gives fish a sense of security. Some fish can get a fright and jump out the water. Zebrafish notorious for it.
I'm making a garden on my balcony here in Taiwan. It doesnt really usually get super cold here. I want to set up a pond, I drew up with fish. I specifically want a fish that eats mosquitoes. As the pond will attract the little monsters 😥 tips?
we use gold fish to keep our animal's watr from freezing in the winter so they should be good when they get bigger BUT goldfish usually need to be over an inch long to survive the winter conditions of the southern U.S. not sure about where you live but i would advise bringing them inside this winter so they dont freeze other than that awesome video!!
Hi, Love the pond!!!! I agree with the previous commenter regarding the Hyacynths. They are agressive. I live in s/e louisiana. The bayous fill up with them in the summer. Can't get a boat down the bayou. Mosquitoes breed in them like crazy. They are awful!!!!
Mariah3272 Can't even own them in California because they're so aggressive. People have been known to flush them and they eventually impact entire sewage systems. Those and anacharis.
do you use just straight tap water for your aquariums? Ive been using reverse osmosis water for my 29 gallon tank. Live in the midwest so the water kinda sux out of the tap and leaves alot of spots etc. Would i be ok using it from the tap you think?

White cloud minnows.
Makes me want to build a pond so badly! Maybe next summer =D Honestly one of the prettiest ponds I've seen. Simple but really successful.

Yaaaay fish!!!! Looks amazing!
I was so excited because of the fish and the notification. You’re awesome
thanks bro!
ur so vietnamese. hehe
At 5:00 that fish just takes a huge mouthful lmao
Haha, I just watched the other two pond videos and was wondering what fish you were going to put in it. What good timing!
Using your video's for our homeschooling projects
What a good idea. Marvin was real kind and sent some free plants to us !
That Salvinia is going to go CRAZY in that pond. You'll have handfuls to pull out every couple of days or so.
I can see you love your pond.. I love it too!! You’ve given me great ideas

Perfect little fish for the pond.

Ur the only fish Chanel I like and doesn't clickbait
I love this pond so much! All the gorgeous plants and I love how much space the fish have. Keep up the good work ❤️❤️
Wow I love the golden white cloud minnows. I like that you can see them easily, will let you check on them when temps change!
Good choice for fish. Such an adorable little pond.
You designed that pond like a pro. Very nice, even down to the fish.
Always love to see amazing and natural Patio ponds like yours!
I bet an outdoor summer tank with some killifish would look so pretty!!
Pond is looking awesome, and the fish are so cool.
Thank you for sharing this, enjoyed watching it. 😄👍
You can pull water hyacinths out and fertilize. They will green up and flower.
I have 5 of those in my betta tank! Love them.
Nice. The kids and I put one of these ponds together after watching the first 2 videos but we went with goldfish. Thanks girl the inspiration. We love your vids.
Golden white clouds are one of my favorite fish to keep in an aquarium. They are hardy and have some decent coloration.
That rubber duck made me smile!
I had a school of white clouds a while back
Glad the rubber ducky finally got some buddies...I have the 24kt Gold White Clouds in my outdoor tub.
Bro never release the hyacinths to the wild. They are very aggressive and invasive. And gd spot for mosquitoes to breed.
Shelby Morgan but sister their seeds could survive for 100 years at any earthly conditions.seeds will sprout at suitable conditions and grow very fast and start to reproduce very soon.
Just look at the lakes in South Africa (lake victoria i think) to see how they take over in a matter of days
Also the salvinia. Crazy invasive
The fish would eat the larvae.
fish will eat mosquito larva ... mosquitos like laying larva in still water.. that water is not still
You can add lotus or water lily..since there is sun light ☺
Dude love the setup. I have gold clouds in a 20 long at my office at wrk.
Gold White Clouds are my favorite fish! Excellent choice!
Cool choice with the white clouds
The duck is always in the scene
Love this.

The duck has been pooping in the pond sir.
Very fresh seeing them in the mini pond. Perfect fish for that too.

The duck is awesome
Great choice of fish, those minnows can survive cold temperature.
Love it I wish the water looked like that in my tanks out back I have 4 water tanks that are 330 gallons for minnows and craw dads keep up the grate work
YT suggested this video, glad I was able to see you add the fish! Quick question -- what about mosquitoes? Will the fish eat the larvae? 🤔
Pondis going great. LOVE your choice of fish. My all time favorite aquarium/pond species.
I really like the fish you chose! Yes you can see them in there and I think they will be happy! :)
I love this pond and beautiful fish. Cool filter 😎. How have you fitted the hose into the filter please ? The one you use to water your plants 🪴

The Catholic Apologetic dont understand
How do you keep mosquitos out of it and how do you refill it? I am in New Mexico near the border and its dry here with really hard water.
I love this patio pond whould love to do this, just found your channel will be back.
You can add shrimps to eat the deacaying plant material! Less maintenance for you, and cleaning crew included!
Excellent cool place
Awesome! Was sooo excited to get this notification! Everything is looking great my guy!
Love the duck! 😂💖

I need a house to do this. I'm getting jealous of people doing these awesome ponds.
This is a great little patio pond! Good job!
8:58 A LADY BUG!
I think some small floating lights or something with a glow would look great on the pond's surface. :o
this pond is so bloody cute! 🖤
Very good choice, would have been my first pick!
Love the pond looks so dope!❤️

Perfect set-up! 👌
Wow they look great
As you film water so much you should look to get a polarizing filter for your camera, it reduces reflections quite a bit
Great update deffinatley inspired to build a pond next spring!
Loving the duck!
What sort of pump did you install? I’m trying to make what you have but find a small pump/filter that can be left outdoors
do you change the water in the pond???
I think the Water Hyacinth is a good idea as it gives fish a sense of security. Some fish can get a fright and jump out the water. Zebrafish notorious for it.
How lovely
