      We keep ours outside all year long. We get freezing temps and the water surface freezes at times. Ricefish are perfectly fine because they are found in the wild here in Japan. Not sure how cold your temps get but if you feel it’s too cold, you can bring them inside

    • @ributsuria
      @ributsuria 4 роки тому

      And if that lucky durian tree does grow healthy... His uncle should find a good place for that tree to mature and bear fruit..especially a place far away from human traffic...you know... from falling fruit incidents and fruit thieves XD ....though i doubt there would be any thieves who wants to steal an overly-ripe "fragrant" fruit in Nippon Land

    • @ributsuria
      @ributsuria 4 роки тому +1

      @@soluiz 5 years fruiting maturity are for those grown from plant cuttings or grafts from the matured donor trees. Durian trees grown naturally from seeds takes even longer than 9-10 years. And the fruits from the first 2-3 harvest years are not even premium quality yet.

    The plant in your Wabikusa is a Sagittaria latifolia (called
    water arrow).
    It's a plant which does not fear winter frosts, but which loses its leaves and reborn in spring thanks to a small bulb. Very common in some area in France, and popular in water ponds ;)
