Can you use the voodoo gel stain over oak and not have bleed through? Would clear boss prevent bleed through?

Hi there Maria! Silk All-in-One Mineral Paint is full coverage and you will not be able to see the wood grain of the piece if you layer the stain over top. We hope this helps and happy painting.

Can you white wash this over raw wood or should you top coat first? Worried about blotchy
Yes, you can apply a wash over raw wood, however, the wash might be absorbed into the wood. Depending on the look you are going for you may consider applying a top coat first. We recommend testing it in a small inconspicuous area to make sure that you are getting the look you are going for!
