The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has been a fantastic phone that improved in the battery and camera department last year, and gave us a slightly better front screen experience, but even after using it for the past year it's still been the best foldable phone I've used to-date!

Team Z fold 4 here. Battery life is good for me, performance is great, dex comes in handy, stylus is fantastic. I won't be upgrading to the 5. Hopefully the six will give us a wider outside display, brighter inside display for outdoors and better cameras. Then I'll upgrade.
As a member of team z fold 4 as well I can't agree with you more it's an amazing device and like you I will be waiting for fold 6 with a lot of anticipation 😀
I believe Samsung is sticking with the aspect ratio they have to give developers as much time as possible to get stable with a dedicated aspect ratio for optimization
I've thoroughly enjoyed my fold 4. My ability to get stuff done is unparalleled.
Good to hear. I bought my Fold4 in February. Haven't had any issues and use the front screen a lot more than I thought I would. My daughter has the Flip3 and has has issues with the screen protector and now the screen. I'm hoping I don't eventually get the same issues with the Fold4.
yeah ive heard that the flip has more issues than the folds do, interesting, i want the fold 5 at some point, maybe in half a year or something
It's funny: I rediscovered my iPod Touch 2 a couple of days ago. The keyboard is smaller than the Fold's, but nobody used to complain back then.
Two things that made my experience better on the Fold4: made the keyboard bigger, and turned swipe typing off. That swipe stuff is hypersensitive, and was ghost-typing if I even got close to a neighboring key.
Got my z fold 4 6 months ago for $1275, blood amazing phone love using it, great for notes as I'm a disability support worker.
My fold turned into a brick couple of months ago, it just won't boot up. Went to samsung, fixed it for free, replaced inner screen, hinge and battery. When I asked what went wrong, they said they didn't know either and joked about hope this will not happen again. Got me seriuously worried about the durability of the phone. And I was thinking about replacing it with ultra. But the minute I got back my phone, I knew I can never use a normal phone again😂
Im planning to upgrade from my S20+ to the Fold 5 next week 😬😬😬😬
I hope they made the outside display a bit bigger with the Fold 6. Maybe i'll get if they do. Untill then i am enjoying my S23 Ultra. 🙃
Not going to happen the CEO of Samsung is dead set on keeping the form factor as is

The experience between the 3 and the 4 was a bigger gap when actually using it... That being said, im curious to see how it compares to the pixel fold!
I’ve just bought the z fold 4 from Samsung in Mexico, brand new, sadly 4 days later the internal screen cover get like a bubble line in the middle off the screen, the time to replace it, is 5 days. It’s my first Samsung foldable, but my experience was not good.
My Z Fold4's screen protector failed about a day after your video saying your screen protector has held up good! It just peeled up in the middle all along the Fold, it was too far gone to press it back, so I ordered some Whitestone Dome Screen Protectors, and they worked really well for my other Z Fold5 in GreyGreen! 5:02
Good video. Did using the s pen mess up the screen protector at any point? I'm looking to get the fold 5.
He made a short video last week about how the screenprotector looks after one year of using. It was still looking good according to the video.

I got my fold 4 and I dropped it like 3 time while unfolded and it works perfectly still not even a mark on the screen only on side of the phone
I love my fold3. Gonna wait to see the good 6. Looking to upgrade on the next big change

Apart from the unusable skinny outside screen the fold 4 has been amazing for me since I preordered this back last Aug. I am extremely happy with performance and durability. 👍
I find it very usable for most things that I do, but I wish it were wider, for sure.
That screen more than adequate. It's supposed to be one handed use, that's the point.

@@RossMKF1 a quick update the durability of fold 4 is shite the inside screen failed after a year so I jumped ship to one plus open 😃😃
To each his own. I think the pixel fold is far better. Now I dont ever use s-pen and i absolutely hate the front screen. I'm don't with the folds until they change that front screen. One plus open looks very good.
Not only that, the cameras going from a 48 megapixel to a 50. That's it. That's the only difference from 4 to 5

Why can't it you be both like Pixel Fold. Why settle on less I'm glad Google bring better camera and I got a case with a pen that works on the Pixel Fold. My Z Fold 3 is nice but my Pixel Fold is getting better battery life.

I think Samsung is wrong about few things with foldable, they need to invest on better battery, faster charging, better camera a bit, removal of the crease, even if it would get thicker it does not bother me, I have a vivo x90 pro plus and with camera bump it's 15.5mm, I can hand it in my pocket with no issue

Terrible product. The large screen cracked right along the hinge 14 months (out of warranty) of regular use with no drops. $500 to repair!
This is the worst phone, got my screen cracked after 5 months..
