My uncle married a Christian woman. Both of his sons as of right now are not in the fold of Islam. This woman also divorced. So it overall didn’t work in his favor. Hopefully inshallah my second cousins can come back. My uncle has a daughter too from his current wife but she’s a toddler right now. Im just hoping my uncle isn’t gonna be making the same mistake just like he did with the last two.
I've seen this with many many guys, they want the girl to accept Islam but the guys themselves are doing haram things so they lost the credibility of teaching anything about the religion, forget about the girl accepting islam when they themselves are not practicing and a bad example, a righteous man will always want a righteous wife, I've seen how the guys come crying that their children are following something else, brother you made the choice when they are millions of good Muslim women available, now don't come crying you lost your children. You wanted to be mordern and open minded then don't cry now.
Women at the end of the day are the one who raise the children. Even if the father is a practicing Muslim, it's a very risky mariage, I have 2 uncles marrying christians women and guess what none of the kids are muslim. So at your risks because the father is responsible at the end of the day
At the end of the day, we are responsible for our own soul and actions which we will be judged for in the grave. Yes we can advise and educate the children to the best of our ability, but if they choose not to follow, it’s on them
@@life_seeker6102 yes but the father will have an obligation to educate them about islam and if not he is sinful. You underestimate the influence of the mother on children. So if she is not Muslim the father needs to do twice more to ensure the children are educated. Imagine as a child you see your mother praying with a cross and going to church every sunday? Or eating during ramadan or eating pork/drinking alcohol? It may influence you. El hemdoulillAllah my mother is a practicing Muslim and I grew up watching her pray 5 times a day and now it's normal for me to pray. And yes I want my children to be good Muslims because It will break my Heart if they end up in hellfire for eternity. If they dont want to as adults then it's the will of Allah but I have to do my part as a parent
@@fad9236 He'll have an obligation yes. But so does the chrtistan wife or jewish wife. Mothers are with their children much more than the fathers because its a womans duty to deal with the house and is the main carer. So the mother will be spending excessivly more time with the kids than the farher because he'll be at work. So its a huge risk of children being exposed to judasim or christanity, not recommended at all.
There are rules, conditions and advice from the scholars about this. Generally, if there are muslim women available for marriage, you cannot get married to christian and jewish women. There are so many things to consider. The most important is that we get married to strengthen our religion, not weaken it. Eventually there will be children. What religion will they follow, especially when they spend most of their early days with the mother? Half-christian, half-muslim? Or both chrisitan and muslim? Quite often the husbands relent to the wishes of the wives so they will also suffer. If there has to be a marriage, it is better to have it in an islamic state where both people's rights will be protected.
I've seen plenty of Muslim men marry 'people of the book' in the UK. Sadly, their children are often raised without Islamic teachings or a mix which led to the weakening of faith and being led astray. There's also the famous UK boybander who have left Islam.
Allah cannot be the all mighty one because he didn’t create Jew and Christian and atheist and Hindu, he created only Muslims! These are his own creatures! There is another God his name is HaShem- Yahweh who created Jew and Christian!

But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.* *_Holy Quran - 60:10_*
One question that I would like to ask the Sheikh or anyone here with knowledge if a muslim woman marries or stays with a non Muslim and they have children what would be the ruling of those kids?
Its not recommended. Why would any muslim man risk having children that become jewish or Christian insted of muslim? Women RAISE the children and are the main carers of the household duties so the husbands aren't around much most the time. So in this instance they're more likely to become what the mother is and not the father.

You have your information wrong; as a Christian, we do not 'worship' Mary or the Saints, we honour them. Worship is the homage and praise given to God alone for who He is as the divine being. But honour is something different. Honour is the respect we give when recognizing a certain excellence in a person. Therefore your derogatory terminology in referring to us as 'idol worshippers' is wholly incorrect.
Making idols of them is already says enough to say you are idolaters. In Islam asking (suplication) to idols or saints is already concidered idolatry. We are stricter on this than the Jews for example. Pure Monotheism is the core of our faith.
aren't there prayers to mary and jesus that Christians do? I've heard of them in churches. you certainly believe in the trinity with jesus statues everywhere, that alone is idolatry according to Islamic definition of monotheism. and you certainly pray hymns to Mary. catholics also seek forgiveness from priests who give it to them. that would also be deemed idolatry in islam
Allah says marry the people of Book, who are chaste and devout, and not for lust or fornication. Other verses declare that a woman should be pious and a believer because they will lead you to fire, while the Muslim woman or man will lead you to heaven. Therefore, please do not mislead your followers, o Sheikh. May Allah guide you.
The Quran mentions “the people of the book.” The question is: Does the book mean the Old Testament and the New Testament? The Quran mentions the Taurat of Musa A.S and the Injeel of Essa A.S. not the Bible which the Jews and Christians believe in today. In other words the Jews and Christians of today do not come within the fold of the people of the book anyway.
I understand your perspective, but if you put more effort into it, I think it would be fairly easy to convince a Jewish woman of the flaws in their scripture, you could either be able to convert her or weaken her faith enough that she let's you raise the child in islam. If her child is raised in islam, you not only have your child that you would have received from a muslim woman, you now also broke the line of a Jewish family if she had married a jew.
