Good reminders Daz, definitely needed for the newbies (both young and old). The one thing I would add or reinforce, is to "be patient and sober" when you make your decisions. The girls and bars aren't going anywhere. If you're having an off night, don't double down, it won't get better. Sometimes it's not the right bar, time of day, or not the right girl. Cut your losses, and try again another day. Patience and logical thinking is in your best interest. You'll be happier in the long run, and so will your wallet!

My recommendation: stay away from Walking Street all together. Go, walk through it, maybe walk into one of the nightclubs to check the scene out, then leave. That's if your not into nightclubs. I'm in my mid-50s, look young for my age, and hated Walking Street. Overpriced. Overhyped.
Haven't stopped off in a bar in walking street for at least 8-10 years, as the prices are double or treble of other area's in Pattaya. It's seriously lost its appeal towards me.

I used this tip last trip and it works leaps and bounds: Be a nice person. If you meet someone you really fancy, try to meet them one day, have a couple drinks, be kind tip her a little and tell her you will come back because you really like her personality. Go back and see her, and if she's over the top happy to see you, you'll probably have a great time with ST or LT. Even though they are bar girls / GC's they appreciate being treated like you're actually courting them. It's still a business transaction, but they are also human!

Don´t feel like that. Just go over to the next Soi, Soi Lengkee and visit La Poste. That will give you a taste of how i think a GC should be like.. Go there, choose a lady to talk to. If she´s nice buy a drink for her and see what happens ;)

Yes go to Dancing bar 1/2 times only look, drink then go .. 🏃 Spend more time in gents clubs and beer bars & some bars on soi 6/7/8.. night clubs later are good , no fees only drinks & her fee .. 😅 only my thoughts .. even if not a newbie 😅
To be honest, I prefer a little older women anyway. I am myself 53 and would describe myself as a little younger looking but the clubs are too loud for me and I prefer also talking a little to make some connection is way more enjoyable to me. A woman let's say inbetween 25 and 40 and given that they anyway look younger is by far more better experience for me . They know what they do and are also much more willing to please you. GC are the best invention here. ❤
I find Soi 6 to be good value, fun and a great choice of attractive ladies of all ages and shapes. I have never had a bad experience on this Soi. Sure, it is not for the faint hearted but it typifies what Pattaya is all about.

Do not go into the Russian bars. It is no fun. It is exactly how the author said. You would have to spend a fortune to have a good time. Also, the feeling inside is just dark and not fun. The Thai girls are so much more fun. The Gogo bars are much better than Russian bars, and the bars on Soi 6 are even better yet.
For me, it’s always a quality verses quantity question. As long as you know what you’re doing (and take Daz’s advice), you won’t get ripped off and you’ll get better quality girls in the GoGo’s. Personally, I’m there for the quality.
100% the gogo have a significantly higher percentage of stunners vs gents. Gents it’s lucky to be 1 or 2 good looking. When you price up the quality it’s really not much more expensive than the gents clubs anyway
I've heard you many times about GC's. I agreed that prices are very good but the girls in the GC's I have been, were very clinical when you bar fine them. They are most of the time in a hurry because they want another client when they are finished with you. Also most of the girls are not very attractive. My best experience is to look for a nice girl in a massage club. Go for a massage, come back next day, invite her for dinner and make friends with her. The next coming days you can have a great time with her for free if you are lucky. So far it has worked fine for me. walking street is to avoid. One bad experience should not put you off GC’s forever. I have had bad experiences in every type of venue, but the vast majority of my experiences have been positive. Pattaya is a roulette wheel, just spin the wheel again.

It are brothels similar like we have in the west were although much cheaper of course. I don't like them.
High season is generally recognized as November - February, but some will say it begins December. Hotels definitely do raise prices. Food not so much. Nightlife not so much though the ladies may try raising fees for their company since so many male tourists there.

There are bars where you can pay under 1500 for ST. Dont pay more than 1000-1200 for women that is around 35 years old. Just say no thank you and move on, there is a big shortage of customers. Thaimen pay 500-600 for ST with older women that dont look medium. Younger girls can be 700-800 for 30 minutes. Dont run around paying double-triple like some fool. Average daily salary in Thailand is around 600 baht.

Nightclubs in pattaya are amazing value for money. Incomparable to anywhere imo. Cheap, very nice modern clubs and 100% success rate you won't go home alone unless you want to.
You have to visit Kink on LK metro and go upstairs. It's super expensive but an experience you will not forget. Also the gent's clubs on Soi Bong Koch. Babylon and Malibu specifically. Enjoy 😊
Daz, you didn't even discuss soapy massages! I find those to be some of the best deals, if you don't mind the fish bowl style of selecting a girl. My best memories are at soapies. I usually spend around $60-80 US and get a 45-60 minute massage, shower, oil rub down and finish with a sexy young girl. Never had a disappointment from a soapy. Grand Honey, Sabai Dee, etc, etc

From what I’m being told, the girls and the gogo bars tend to be prettier, more modelesque with whiter skin. Basically, social media has changed the way the town operates. This town was always a 'business'. Now this is more the case than ever. Everything is a chance to access your wallet. Agogos can be great places to go, just don't get carried away with ladydrinks and don't barfine from agogos. Before 9pm there are many happy offers and draught is available at many places. LK is cheaper than Walking St but girls not as good. Saying only go once, guys will miss out on a lot of experiences.
I wonder why you talk so little about soapies, which IMHO are a fun and not so expensive way to spend a couple of hours, everything considered. You pay a flat fee according to your possibilities, get to choose the girl with no pressure at all and have a lot of fun afterwards... girls are also very talkative (at least that's my experience) and so you can create kind of an atmosphere. Everything is basically correct, but considering Aggos a rip-off is not. Personally - my fantastic life partner danced at Agogo before, I know what I'm talking about. If you want the best (10 out of 10), you have to pay the corresponding price. A Mercedes from the Agogo will always cost more than a Ford from the GC or the bar. Both certainly serve the purpose, but the fun is usually different - if you're lucky!!! to choose the right model. Agogos are full of smart Asian customers for whom it is not the prices but the quality that is crucial.
Smart Asian customers are not marrying gogo dancers. Nor are they spending weeks or months bumbling around Thailand. They fly in, party in some clubs and gogos for a few days, and fly home again. It's a completely different market than Europe, America, or Australia.
Agree while I would not pay the exorbitant prices the top end agogos ask for for ST I find it fun to go in some of them and just have a few drinks and watch the show. Maybe buy a LD or two if someone really catches my eye.
Yeah the agogos are great. Watching them dancing and selecting your girl is an experience in itself, and the girls are much higher quality. You will pay more of course, but you get what you pay for.

Hey Daz, to go once only to a Go-Go in your town is far too much. The 'music' alone is abominable, truly an offence to the ears. As for the painted ones within wrapping themselves around poles and nauseatingly bobbing up and down, well, I would prefer not to finish this sentence because I can't keep it clean. Having said all that, Pattayan bar-beers abutting onto the street or in arcades are great. As for the flora and fauna walking past them at any given time, fascinating. Lots of good looking ones between 45 and 55 in Bangkok. Many don't work in bar and are independent. Very easy to find. I am 41 and so many approach me

One bad experience should not put you off GC’s forever. I have had bad experiences in every type of venue, but the vast majority of my experiences have been positive. Pattaya is a roulette wheel, just spin the wheel again.

It was not just one bad experience and it wasn't even bad actually. It was just not as good as other experiences. GC's are not my thing unless you like a quicky. It are brothels similar like we have in the west were although much cheaper of course. I don't like them.

High season is generally recognized as November - February, but some will say it begins December. Hotels definitely do raise prices. Food not so much. Nightlife not so much though the ladies may try raising fees for their company since so many male tourists there.

There are bars where you can pay under 1500 for ST. Dont pay more than 1000-1200 for women that is around 35 years old. Just say no thank you and move on, there is a big shortage of customers. Thaimen pay 500-600 for ST with older women that dont look medium. Younger girls can be 700-800 for 30 minutes. Dont run around paying double-triple like some fool. Average daily salary in Thailand is around 600 baht.

Nightclubs in pattaya are amazing value for money. Incomparable to anywhere imo. Cheap, very nice modern clubs and 100% success rate you won't go home alone unless you want to.
You have to visit Kink on LK metro and go upstairs. It's super expensive but an experience you will not forget. Also the gent's clubs on Soi Bong Koch. Babylon and Malibu specifically. Enjoy 😊

Daz, you didn't even discuss soapy massages! I find those to be some of the best deals, if you don't mind the fish bowl style of selecting a girl. My best memories are at soapies. I usually spend around $60-80 US and get a 45-60 minute massage, shower, oil rub down and finish with a sexy young girl. Never had a disappointment from a soapy. Grand Honey, Sabai Dee, etc, etc

You've provided a wealth of information and it's been well appreciated. However...and your channel is no less 'blighted' by what's been happening on YTube. From what I’m being told, the girls and the gogo bars tend to be prettier, more modelesque with whiter skin. Basically, social media has changed the way the town operates. This town was always a 'business'. Now this is more the case than ever. Everything is a chance to access your wallet. However I don’t like to do things on site rather in the comfort of my own room. So that thing has turned me off. I don’t like the younger girls, this generation is beyond my grasp. Agogos can be great places to go, just don't get carried away with ladydrinks and don't barfine from agogos. Before 9pm there are many happy offers and draught is available at many places. LK is cheaper than Walking St but girls not as good. Saying only go once, guys will miss out on a lot of experiences.

Everything is basically correct, but considering Aggos a rip-off is not. Personally - my fantastic life partner danced at Agogo before, I know what I'm talking about. If you want the best (10 out of 10), you have to pay the corresponding price. A Mercedes from the Agogo will always cost more than a Ford from the GC or the bar. Both certainly serve the purpose, but the fun is usually different - if you're lucky!!! to choose the right model. Agogos are full of smart Asian customers for whom it is not the prices but the quality that is crucial.
Smart Asian customers are not marrying gogo dancers. Nor are they spending weeks or months bumbling around Thailand. They fly in, party in some clubs and gogos for a few days, and fly home again. It's a completely different market than Europe, America, or Australia.
Agree while I would not pay the exorbitant prices the top end agogos ask for for ST I find it fun to go in some of them and just have a few drinks and watch the show. Maybe buy a LD or two if someone really catches my eye.
Yeah the agogos are great. Watching them dancing and selecting your girl is an experience in itself, and the girls are much higher quality. You will pay more of course, but you get what you pay for.

Hey Daz, to go once only to a Go-Go in your town is far too much. The 'music' alone is abominable, truly an offence to the ears. As for the painted ones within wrapping themselves around poles and nauseatingly bobbing up and down, well, I would prefer not to finish this sentence because I can't keep it clean. Having said all that, Pattayan bar-beers abutting onto the street or in arcades are great. As for the flora and fauna walking past them at any given time, fascinating. To quote Papa Hemingway, Pattaya is a moveable feast.
