  • We have a NEW INSTANT POT COOKBOOK! PREORDER HERE: amzn.to/2Xi53Ar
    We all know that eating soup in the fall is a must! But, making the soup in the Instant Pot just makes everything SO MUCH EASIER! If are tight on time, then you must get an Instant Pot. It's the best thing I ever did!
    These 4 Instant Pot Soups so easy, you can just throw everything in the pot, close it and you are good to go! (I call it the dump and go recipes).
    The 4 recipes I'm sharing with you today are:
    1. Instant Pot Chicken and Potato Soup
    2. EASY Instant Pot Seven Can Tortilla Soup
    3. Disneyland Instant Pot Enchilada Soup
    4. Instant Pot Stew
    A few tips and tricks:
    CAN YOU FREEZE THESE MEALS?
    The Taco Soup, Chicken and Potato Soup and the Stew can be made into a freezer meal very easily! Just just have to dump all the ingredients into a freezer zip lock bag and freeze it!
    The night before you are ready to cook it, put it in your fridge so it will thaw.
    Tip for doing freezer meals: use a plastic water pitcher from the dollar tree! Especially if you want it to freeze more of a round shape to fit it back into your Instant Pot when frozen.
    Because these are dump and go recipes, you can throw everything in and walk away. Dump and Go's are PERFECT for busy nights.

    Be sure to give me a thumbs up and comment if you would like more Instant pot recipes or tips and tricks with the Instant Pot! Also, feel free to comment if you have any questions, and I will try the answer them the best I can!
    This is the Instant Pot I have (yes it is the cheaper one and I love it!): amzn.to/2F3Lznx
    If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!

    Don't know how I lived without this for so long! I make dog food for 2 of our dogs ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg (we have 5!) and it is so much quicker in this. Love having the inner pot stainless so I can use my immersion blender right in it without worrying about scratching. It makes potatoes great and fast! Still working on the vegetables, first time came out great, second time I did different ones and they were a little too mushy. Just need to adjust the time. I highly recommend this pot!!!

    I am so new to instant pot I even found an instant pot inside my cabinet above my double frig. It's an instant pot duo 6qt. Thank you for all of you videos, and sharing your tips, and recipes.
    I am actually, kind of frustrated because when I looked up the in boxing for my viva. I did not receive a bunch of things that came with everyone's instant pot on youtube :(
    I never used a pressure cooker before, and so watching you do your recipes gives me courage to first start the water test...
    Thank you, for your calming voice as well.😊
    I was surprised when you said Sacramento California because I was considering moving out there about 2 years ago. I just found that funny.
    If you have any more videos that you might suggest I watch or go to your blog site; Please, let me know.
    Thank You Again for everything.

    This actually made me feel like a pro because I came up with my own chicken soup wich is identical to yours except add a can of corn and some pepper. Although I use fresh carrots ect.. I like using chicken thighs though, swear they taste way better and between the natural stock and the water from the corn its like a stew. Love it. I freeze dry it for hiking.

    Great. Made the 7 can soup twice, but the second time I didn't have many of the ingredients on hand and I think the second soup came out better and richer. Here is what I did have on hand and used instead: 8 pure beef uncured hot dogs, cut in bite-size pieces. 1 can white cannellini beans, 1 can chick peas, 1 can corn, 1 can mixed vegetables (with liquid), 1 DOUBLE can of stewed tomatoes, 3 cups beef broth, 1 24 oz. container of beef bone broth, spices, flour. I didn't have enchilada sauce, so I looked up the recipe and it called for sauteing a little flour with spices and then adding tomato juice. I sauteed flour and spices and then just added the double can of stewed tomatoes which I was using anyway. Put in all the cans I had, looked up the recipe for taco seasoning and added all the spices individually. Used 8 qt. Ultra. Amazing taste.

  • @cassandramitchell1175
    @cassandramitchell1175 5 років тому +3

    I make the 7 can soup all the time but I do "real" chicken not can. I also use mild rotel in place of diced tomatoes. Put raw/frozen chicken in the slow cooker with all the other cans and it is amazing!

  • @beckijameson3844

    It's worth taking the extra step of browning the beef first in the IP on saute mode.

    • @abc-wv4in
      @abc-wv4in 5 років тому +5

      I agree. Much better and looks more appetizing if the beef is seared first. No trouble because you do it in the IP on Saute with a tiny bit of oil.

    • @moncher2797

    • @PonderousProse
      @PonderousProse 5 років тому +4

      It develops and deepens the flavor, and makes all the difference! And as someone said above, the meat does look more appetizing that way. Agreed!

    I enjoying some chicken potato soup now. It's the best chicken soup I've ever made. I included some chopped celery for added flavor and a few more spices and herbs (thyme, marjoram, teragon, and bay leaf). Just like yours I ended up just using some tongs to shred the chicken in the pot. It's that tender. Total time from hitting start to letting the remaining pressure out was around an hour. I'm glad I got the silicone lid since the rest is now in the fridge.

    On the enchillada soup might I make the suggestion of putting the sour cream and heavy cream in bowls separately The reason I suggest this is because if you are going to freeze any of this, cream and sour cream don't freeze well.
