Black bean soup yesterday just onion, garlic, dry beans, broth and cumin. 34 minutes high pressure and slow release, blend in a blender done. Chopped onions and sour cream a bit of cheese to finish and done. Very tasty.

Your videos are well made and interesting to the end! You are helping lots of people get more comfortable with their Instant Pot - including me. I love how your recipes are simple to make and you make it look so easy. I am sending a link to my 2 sisters who are still are quite afraid of their new IP! 😆

Love soup! Thanks Kristen, these are wonderful, easy and inspiring. For those who don’t like canned foods, use fresh, frozen or dry or just rinse the beans, eliminate the salt. It’s not hard to make an adjustment... :). I hope you were able to freeze some of those soups Kristen!

We love soup. Great recipes. Is there a link to the Minestrone?

Made the Minestrone today - delicious. I didn't have zucchini so used corn. My pasta was a bit overdone - next time I'll do less natural release time. The flavor was fantastic.

Made the sweet potato soup today but I used vegan stock and then emulsified the soup when it was done. As you did at the end I added some almond milk but had blended it with 1/4 cup cashews so it would be creamy. Then I threw in a can each of drained corn, green beans and black beans. Thanks for the great base!! Wouldn't have thought of it on my own.

Our favorite is Knorr's. We like it better than the cubes or the jar kind. It has a great taste, stores well and in a small box and mostly is soft and moist so you can crumble it nd it dissolves quickly.

simple quick fix recipes. I love just butting a bag of baby carrots in I don't want to chop plus a few
cans of stuff and have a great meal!! You should write a recipe book but make it simple no goat milk
or the other bullshit stuff other cook books want you to do. Thanks Again I LOVE your recipes!!

I love soup and its so good for my family. I can make sure they get all their vitamins without blatantly throwing veggies at them. They don't even know how healthy they are eating when enjoying a nice chili or delicious soup.

Great Recipes Christen, I have questions about durability of the pressure cookers. I bought a Go Wise 8qt cooker because I never used one it sat for a while. I have been watching your channel and your recipe for chicken taco mixture invigorated me to give this a try. I had some brown rice I thought I would do dry run with that 2cups brown rice 2 1/2 cups water 18 min. Pressure automatic release rice came out perfect. A couple days later I decided to cook your recipe for chicken taco mixture. 5 chicken breast I put in 2 tablespoons taco seasoning, since that's what I had 1/2 cup water, 25 min pressurized let it self release. These seem like they work silently I never hear the steam release. On this cook I thought it was finished there was an E-4 message on screen at the time I did not know what that ment so I thought I would make sure steam was released which it was. I opened lid and thought I should cook some more I think even chicken breasts are different as far as lean or more tough anyway, I tried starting cooker again, I realized something was wrong checked owners manual and found out E-4 Is an error code and kicks the machine out after a couple seconds. The manual suggests to unplug machine for 30- 90 seconds, which I did. Nothing seemed to help,I finished off on stove and I cleaned up cooker the next day I thought I would try making rice, thinking machine was cold and prior cook was a fluke. Well needless to say E-4 came on, I called customer service since I waited so long to use the pot it was out of warrantee. The moral of the story 2 cooks was all this cooker was used before it was considered junk. I could not find anyone that can make repair and with shipping costs it makes sense to replace. That's when I read reviews for Go Wise, Insta pot and a couple others it seems like several of these don't last long. That is why I would like your opinion because your experience and Im sure you network with other Insta pot users what kind of longevity would you consider normal. I ordered another I see they have additional warranties for a fee. As most reviews State it's great when it works. This was only used by myself not dropped kept in temperature control home. I would really appreciate any imput. Thanks
