i’ve been struggling quite a bit with hair you’re stylized skin tutorial helped a lot so after i’m able to watch this i might just be able to finish sketching
@@ChrissaBug youre a genius. I was already implementing some of these techniques but your break down help me to figure out what I've been missing and where I've been going wrong with how I approach not just hair, but also shading.
@@ChrissaBug it did help the thing that i liked the most was when you added that fade to the hair at the end i really like that effect but never knew how to do it properly i know that wasn’t the point of this video BUT IM GONNA USE THAT FOR SUREE
i personally like to color pick the skin, then add a gradient near the bangs (becase bangs in real life are semi-transparent if you understand what im trying to say?) then new layer and add strands on top of that gradient.
Been struggling for a week to color the hair on my character. This is the first tutorial that actualy was easy to follow step by step and within the style i like. Thank you so much for your time! Beautiful work!
I'm super new to digital art (I've been doing traditional all my life, and only just got a drawing tablet last month), and even though I don't use clip studio paint, this helped a ton! Thank you so much!! (Your skin tutorial was also a life saviour, I had/have no idea when to make other layers and what to put on them and you're helping a lot!!)
I would like to say, I RARELY ever like a video on UA-cam. I know its probably wrong and it does help the creators but for some reason I'm just too lazy to hit it I guess? Anyhow. I am currently doing my first ever commission for digital art. Not only did this video allow my to do a professional looking piece, but it let me come out of my shell of sketching. I rarely ever finished my art (actual linework and coloring), and out of all the drawings I've done for around 11 years, the amount that I have actually colored in is probably under 10. This is my FIRST time ever coloring in hair, and your video has helped me make a piece I am proud to put my name on. Thank you so much.
I really appreciate you making these types of videos of going through your painting process. There's always something to be learned from other artists and I love using these to apply new techniques to my art. Thank you.
I just discovered your channel, and it's been so helpful and inspiring! You're not only a great artist, but also a great teacher explaining your thoughts behind everything you do, thank you for making these videos! 💖
ohh yess omg 😍 your stylized skin tutorial helped me a lot and i was wondering if you are going to make a stylized hair tutorial and now here it is 😱 thank you so much for this 😭
THANK YOU SO MUCHHH. I've been struggling with hair because the way that I've been doing hair doesn't always look right also I'm so glad you made this video!
This was a very helpful tutorial; I struggle so much with drawing hair, but mostly with the coloring process. I'm going to practice this...thanks for sharing 🙂
I had to come back and say thank you so much. I always had issues with shading and I watched all your videos on that and it really really helped. Now it takes me a way shorter amount of time to render my artwork than it used to. The hard light mode layer seems so simple but is such a game changer.
Se un poco de inglés básico pero aun así logré entender tu explicación muy bien! Me sirvió más que varios videos que ya había visto en el idioma español, eso se me hace un poco gracioso ¡¡ I really liked your video!!^^💖
Hi, just wanted to say that your tutorials are top notch ! The way you send the message is simple and straight forward making it very easy to understand. I hope we see more tutorials in your channel ! **clicks like and subscribe**
I like your video but I’m specifically interested in the coloring part. I’d love to see a video on how to create a color palette after we pick a base color. For example, if the base color for the hair is a blue, how should we color-pick the rest of the colors in the palette that will represent the shadows & highlights? I don’t want to just guess what might look good. I want to create color swatches beforehand that will make sense with the base color that I’ve chosen.
thank you so much for this tutorial! im still in the very beginnings of learning everything basically from scratch. Im trying to get the basics down and im not entirely sure if im "ready" for coloring just yet. but this tutorial has also kind of helped with grasping concepts of hair as well. i gave a like and subbed, im about to watch some more of your tutorials now ^^
Love your art, amazing video explanation this was super helpful as a beginner artist who struggles with basically everything! just a an idea maybe you could try doing art using your fingers for those who don't have a graphic tablet yet.
Your drawing is so good! This tutorial is so helpful! But i think i will test this out using clip studio paint, i'm not used to use clip studio paint and i'm looking for more apps with good quality to draw with! I'm new to your channel and i would like to see more drawing tutorials! You might even get a new sub! I hope my drawing ends up as good as yours! :)
OHHHH!!! I LOVE THIS!!! Damn, you draw very well! Keep it up! ❤ By the way, a question, could you do a tutorial on how to draw eyes of women and men?? 🥺
I just started using Clip Studio Paint, and it is such an adjustment for me! I'm not used to digital art, I can sketch digitally no problem, but when it comes to full blown artwork I'm struggling!! Lol. Any tips for using Clip Studio on a Samsung tablet?
Could you please do a tutorial on how to know where to put your shapes so it looks natural? I’ve really struggled with this. I understand not to draw individual strands but when I start to place my hair chunks it looks unnatural.
What pen/brush did you use for sketch?thanks Edited: @5:33 i've followed the instructions you show in the video, but when i want to add a "very soft gradient" with lighter colors with a transparent lock layer (in base layer), i get a darker color than i want, so what should i do? If i want to keep the color lighter, i have to edit on a different layer above the base layer with clip layer below, thanks ❤️
yo so your art is amazing i love it ^^ but sins where talking about hear? your hear is amazing as well ^^ what color is that btw ? ps my englich is bad sry :/
